Hi Rory!!!   I didn't get to say good bye!!!      We have been back nearly two weeks now and its rained nearly every day!!!  I tried to make a milkshake!! haha, it was awful, needless to say cant wait til next year so i can taste that chocolate milkshake!!!  How is every one??  If you read this.. email me!! Had a fantastic holiday, real pleasure waking up to full english breakfast every morning served with a smile even more of a pleasure to order dinner with rory. Your very cheeky but very funny!!  

We have spent two weeks having breakfast here because we could not tear our son away from the "rory" appeal. The whole family were very friendly and the breakfasts were delicious especially the fry ups.

After only a few minutes at Freddies beach bar you realise that Rory would make a great stalker. You can feel his long lens trained on you and he can mix a drink that'll knock you out cold. Just joking Rory, that'll teach you to reccommend the Olde Vineyard for a vegetarian!!

Just wanted to put our comments on the message board regarding Freddies Beach Bar. We have been going to Tsilivi for around 4-5 years back when it was a small quiet resort. We love it there and Freddies Beach Bar is one of the reasons why! Everytime we go back (which is every year at the moment) we make a beeline for Freddies.Rory is the most welcoming person I've ever met on holiday. Along with a great spot direct on the beach, sunbeds fab and reasonable, not to mention the food that is served morning to night everything about the bar is excellent. We went back last june, after a year break(tried Kos just wasn't the same) and Rory remembered all our names and faces as soon as he saw us.

Came to Tsilivi with my boyfriend in july 05 and we always made a stop at freddies when we were at the beach. the food was gorgeous and v.reasonble and the guy who works there - rory i think - was the most friendly man you could ever wish to meet.

We have just come back from an excellent holiday in Tsilivi and wanted to say a big thank you to all at Freddies Beach Bar.  Having visited several times over the last two years it has been a real pleasure to receive such consistent,  friendly and excellent service.  Well done to you all - we really do hope that you all have a well earned rest. 

Good health  and thanks again for helping  make our stay in Zakynthos and our introduction  to Greece so relaxing and enjoyable. 

Really enjoyed our extended stay - look forward to seeing you next year !

This was my 2nd visit to Tsilivi and within an hour of arriving I went to Freddies.  By far the most friendly place we found.  We had no reason to go anywhere else!  Loved the sunbeds, the food and the company.

Wonderful, the whole family were great and very welcoming, and the setting is perfect

fantastic place fantastic people had two holidays this years in tsilivi and spent most of it at freddies bar with rory (kite man) jaqui, ritsa and robert, they made us feel part of the family, top food and you must try rorys chocolate monkey, wot a view situated on the beach open all day till 12pm and 8pm on a sunday nothing is too much for them, i would say its the best beach bar in tsilivi we will be back on 7th october so we want that welcome sign outside. we may be back sooner......  love to you all see u soon

Spent a week in Zante with 'a friend' and found Freddie's.........nice place, good food, good hospitality, friendly staff - the guy that looks Greek but is actually from S.A. I believe, he makes a mean cocktail. Even better, check out the milkshakes.......

The most fantastic bar and atmosphere we found in probably the entire island. We love the whole family who go out of their way for the customers who they consider as friends. We have returned twice now and would not think of going anywhere else when we return next year. Try Rory's amazing cocktails or Jackie's king prawns and pizzas.  Its also the best spot on the beach for watersports, lounging or just paddling in crystal clear waters over white sand banks. Go see for yourself. xx

Freddies Beach Bar makes the best frappes I have ever tasted, their food is also excellent.Rory and the gang made us feel really welcome.If your in Tsilivi Freddies is the place to go.Cant wait to go back, thanks for making my holiday. 

What more can I say.........club sandwich.......wonderful, delicious, can't wait for more! See you in August.  Best beach bar in the world without a doubt! The wife and I were there so how can I not give hunks and babes an excellent, the wife gives Rory a huge thumbs up too!

thought u said this wasn't up and running!! Sorry bout the state u last saw us, had to much of a good thing that nite!!! Jaks, send us a piece of that apple pie we'd kill for a bit of that the now. Any way thanks for keepin us fed n watered cant complain to much (except for that bloke Rory, he was a bit mental who'd want someone like that workin in yer bar? god knows!!) My Mum n Dad have promised to come visit you in July so have plenty of that apple pie ready. oh by the way the bite was a spider bite!! Drinks? Whiskey? Gin? Vodka?......

Apart from loosing 100 Euros here on the last day (purely our stupid fault) we loved Freddies. The best place to eat and drink whilst sun bathing on Tsilivi beach.

Many thanks to all at Freddies Bar. Everyone (Rory, Jackie, Robert, Ritsa, Ben And James) made us so welcome - we had a fantastic time. The place has the best location, atmosphere and beer in Tsilivi. Can't wait for the next visit.

Went to the Beach Bar everyday for dinner and absolutely loved it!the food is gorgeous!! (especially the cheese and tomato toasties!!) and Rory is such a great guy!As was everyone else who worked there!and they're all extremely friendly and make you feel very welcome! Will definitely return next year!

What a stroke of luck to find Freddies on our very first day. Many, many thanks to Rory, Ritsa, Robert and James for making us so welcome-we had a fantastic time and meeting everyone was the highlight of our holiday. Great location, great food, wonderful atmosphere and frosted glasses for our Heineken - what more could we ask for? Thanks to Ian for organising our 'Levante' speedboat trip (which we HIGHLY recommend) and thanks to Ritsa for the book, which I've now finished (and we only got home yesterday!!) great place!

Fantastic place. Was there everyday for lunch, dinner and drinks till late. Staff all very wlecoming and extremely friendly. Freddie is so cute. had some great laughs with the Rory, Jackie and the boys from South Africa. Definitely worth a visit. It was GREAT !!

This bar is named after the owner's dog - Freddie!

hi all, i was at your bar every afternoon 4 my dinner it was the best i had out of all the resort staff were kind and entertaining and i thought it was jus curshdie c u in september

We wished we had found this bar earlier in our holiday. Everyone there is so kind and friendly. The food is excellent and good value for money. We ate there several times just because it was so relaxing sitting next to the beach eating your dinner. We were never rushed to leave and were told they close when the last person goes! Rory was so nice to our daughter who wasn't very well, making her marmite on toast to make her feel better! This is certainly one of the nicest bars in Tsilivi and the kids all love Freddie the dog as well. We ended up eating here more than any other place and hope to visit again some day. We never got an earthquake though Rory!!

Hi All at Freddies.

Sarah and I are missing being the early risers on the sunbeds and having our club sandwiches (without tomato) at lunch!!! ;-)

I would recommend this bar to everyone staying in Tsilivi. We were lucky that our hotel was at that end of the beach so we found it on our first day, but if you're staying elsewhere it is well worth the walk up.

It was the friendliest place we ate/drank at in the resort and can't wait to come back.

Freddie's is fab! as one of the ten girls on hols with ashleigh i can def vouch for its greatness.
3euros for a sunbed for the whole day (you won't want to leave -trust me!) with use of the shower (v handy when been in the sea) and toilet facilities. the food is delicious and v gd value. definately kept us going during our stay in Tsilivi. the service is excellent and the staff are always keen to keep you happy. big thanks to all of them and especially rory for the great ice-cream sundaes (with the monkeys!).
this place is well worth a visit and deserves more than 6/10!

This place is fantastic! Spent every lunchtime eating here and never had a complaint about the food or the service which is brilliant. The tuna and chicken salads were to die for. Could always rely on Rory to entertain us too! Its more of a chilling place compared to the other bars but a def on the list to visit (this coming from a group of 10 18 yr old girls!!)Its suitable for everyone -honest!

My wife and I found this beach bar on our first day in Zante. The owners Robert, Risa, Rory, Jackie and Freddy made us so welcome that we went back day after day. It is a lovely place to go in the evening and relax after a hard day on the beach. The food is great, the wine is cheap and the ambience is perfect. I'm already looking forward to going back.

At the Planos end of the resort, near (150 yards) to Tsilivi watersports. Newly set up this May, run by Robert, Risa, Rory and Jackie (Its called Freddies after their dog - who all the kids love) who will only close when you're ready to stop drinking. Really good place for relaxing in the evenings, prop up the bar and chat, share a joke etc etc. Never packed like the bars on the main road, so you can hear yourself think, definately for the more chilled out scene, waves a splashing away in the background. During the day, its very busy serving a variety of dishes, the sunbeds they offer down onto the beach are reasonably priced and for that you can use their showers and (I sound like my mum here) very clean toilets. They get these little things right, which mean you dont have to worry about them and can enjoy your stay the more for it.

I didn't get chance to add my ratings when I mentioned this bar wasn't originally included in the bars/clubs of Tsilivi, So I don't know where the average status came from? Definately not a 4 out of 10 place!!!! This bar has all you need for a relaxing holiday. Is 8, pushing 9 out of ten on all fronts. Cocktails are better than 10 out of 10!

The best thing about our holiday was lazing the day away at Freddie's!

Agree with comments about showers, sunbeds and toilets!! Some of the sunbeds are on the sand and some on a grassy area, all have umbrellas and you can even sit under the shade of a tree or two if its too hot!

The food is delicious and very good value for money as are the drinks.

Robert, Ritsa, Rory and Jackie are really friendly and make you feel very welcome. Definitely the best bar on the beach.
