have just landed back from tsillivi,and have message for all of you trying to get in touch with holly and nikkos.
they have been VERY busy over the winter setting up a new place in zante town called CAFE FOR YOU (hope i spelt it right guys)and any spare time has been spent with family and relaxing (they work very hard ,holly was busy every night we were there)they do intend catching up with the emails.the bar is still the best, pool table has added,menu still great

i visited tsiivi with another 4 members of my family along with one of my freinds the bolero bar was just round the corner from our apartments and we had a great time the first or second day we got there we were greeted by nickos holly and a hose pipe from dionisis (the 3 year old lil boy) we had a great time and it felt like id known them for years we spent two weeks in greece and we had a great time they also had a great range of food and drinks also nickos has got all the songs you ask for and he plays all the sports on a big tv,i can stil remeber every moment of being in the bolero bar now and we went in augest 2003 im 13 but i was 12 at the time and even though there isnt anything for kids there we still had a great time playing with dionisis he's a gorgeous 3 year old with alot of talent thanks alot guys loads of luv the family xxxx

Fab place, we loved it, we went to Tsilivi 3 years on the spin. Great company. Now living in Perth W.A. but would not hesitate to return. Try their BBQ Greek nights, good fun and great value, but be prepared for a boozie late night! We really miss Nickos, Holly and Dionisis. Holly cooks a great breakfast! Visit and ENJOY!! Well, i am going to keep it short this time, because i can not add much to what i have said before. For those of you that have visited the Bolero, i need to say very little. For those of you that are just thinking about visiting the Bolero, then i will just say, DO IT and tell us all if you don't have a great time (that won't happen). This bar/cafe rates 10 out of 10 for a good reason.

This was my 4th visit to the BOLERO errrrr sorry i mean Tsilivi, it just gets better and better everytime. I just have to say this !!!!!! If you want to meet nice,friendly people on both sides of the bar then get yourself down to the BOLERO.

Bolero bar was by far the best bar in the whole of Tsilivi. Relaxed and muchos friendly. Even enjoyin ourselves here now at the moment. Gr8 staff gr8 prices (on thursdays mostly) and also nicos looks the the man whore off deuce biggalo!!!!!! (paul said that not me!) Come here its mint !!!!!!! p.s howay the toon!

Well, this is the 3rd time i have written about this this bar, and i am fast running out of superlatives to use. On this trip to Tsilivi, i went with a few friends, only one of which had been before. The others were not quite sure what to expect. So first stop was the Bolero, where we got a fantastic welcome form Nikos and his lovely wife Holly, it was like i had never been away and the welcome that they gave to my friends made them feel as though they had known them for years too. Yes, Yes, i know what your all thinking, all Greek people are very friendly, and you are totally correct in that, but when you meet Nikos and Holly, well they really are in a different class. Once again we thoroughly enjoyed the wide range of drinks and cocktails on offer whilst listening to the vast collection of music that they have created. Seriously, just ask for a song and i am quite sure that Nikos will find it and play it for you. The food menu is quite extensive too and is being revamped to include an even bigger variety right now. Prices are very reasonable and i am sure everyone will find that most tastes are catered for. This bar also shows all the football and other major sporting events, has a quiz night and happy hours on cocktails etc.

In short, if your going to Tsilivi, DO NOT miss out on a great time day or night, visit the Bolero.

Nikos & Holly , thanks again for another great holiday, shame it was only a week. I hope to be back later in the year and stay longer. So you have been warned... The Malacka is coming back !!!!

This was my first time to greece, and i'm sure it won't be my last. The people that own the belero bar are just great people, (Niko, Holly and their little angel Dennis). The music, the food, the atmosphere is just great, niko and holly are just fun to be around always very talkative and looking to have a laugh. I'll look to see them guys soon i hope, hopefully sometime this year again or next year.

We are sat in bolero bar right now so we have to be nice!! Nikos is a great guy hes really friendly and runs a great pub that is open as long as your eyes are. Great Beer, great atmosphere, great place. what can i say great!!!

It was my first time to Tsilivi and i didnt know what to expect. I went with a mate from work who had been to Tsilivi the year before. The first place he took me was to Bolero Bar. Has i was new to the bar my mate introduced me to Nikos who owns the bar. After 2 days it felt like i knew Nikos for years. The people who work there make you feel at home which is good. Nikos, Holly and Spiros are great people. Nikos and holly have a son called Dennis( Well thats what he's real name means). The music is good. It ranges from the 70's to the latest music and its not too loud. Nikos shows all the premiership games and has a quiz night has well. While i was away for 2 weeks i was in the Bolero every night. I never left there no earlier then two and the latest we left was five. The food is good also. Theres not much more i can say apart from go there yourself and enjoy the fun. Wish i could still be there.

Well, what can i say? The Bolero bar did it again!!! For the 2nd year running, the bolero bar has given me a holiday i shall remember for quite some time. Well as i said last year this bar is fantastic, you will not find more friendly people anywhere in Zakynthos let alone Tsilivi. Last year i played it safe and only really tried the Amstel, this year we excelled ourselves, we consumed most of the cocktail menu and pretty much tried most of the "shots" that were on offer too, I strongly reccommend that you ask for a PURPLE HAZE they go down very well indeed. The food is also great and very reasonable too. In fact i spent less this year than i did the year before, so the Euro has not really affected prices at all. Entertainment was great too, we only came 3rd in the quiz night, but how were we supposed to know where Rupert Bear or Postman Pat live??? Anyway,Thank you Nikos(Malacka),Holly(i love you really Holly) and Spiros your the man. See you next year, get some sleep you will need it. Love to baby "Dennis" i hope he enjoyed his 1st birthday yesterday.

we`ve just returned from zante and nicos and holly`s bar the bolero bar was the best we found.a lot of the bars were overated on this site but not bolero.planet pub,red lion,2 brothers were also good.we thought our 17 year old daughter would prefer some of the more disco type bars but she also prefered bolero.pinball,internet access,barbecue night,quiz on tuesdays 1st prize is a scooter for the day or a meal for 2.won it 2 weeks running,cheers mark and scott! find nemesis restaurant,also very good,go down road at side of here and bolero is at bottom on your left just before the big hotel.enjoy.p.s.holly is a babe.

Just got back from 2 weeks staying in Bolero cafe bar. Well thats what it felt like, I was in there almost every night and i don't think i left much b4 3am each morning. Nikos and Spiros are very friendly as was everbody else i met in the bar. Great for the late breakfast or lunchtime snack and the drink is pretty good too. I can only really vouch for the Amstel but i have been told that the cocktails were excellent too. Nikos, good luck with the baby - see you next year.

We got back in one piece today and have to agree with Gavin - Niko's has the CLEANEST!!! loo on the island! (Me & James had been talking about this - sad hey?) - brill bar - great great people and wicked fry up breakfasts - hope to be back and good luck to Niko's and Holli and the forthcoming baby - let us all know what it is!!!

It tends to be a bit quiet this time of year, that might be 'cause the Tsilivi Beach Hotel ain'nt open yet. It should be open on Sunday !!! It's had a top refurb. Nikos and Holly Are still on good form, but I'll warn you folks - it's 115 degrees and rising. We're all burnt to buggery ! ! !

AN EXCELLENT ATMOSPHERE PROVIDED BY THE GREAT FOLKS WHO RUN THIS BAR, NIKOS AND HOLLI! GOOD FOOD, GOOD DRINK AND PLENTY OF LAUGHS. PLUS THE TOILET MUST BE THE CLEANEST IN ZANTE!!! DROP IN ANYTIME OPEN 8.30AM 'TIL ???
