Magdalenas Bar

Just got back from zante and had a great time. Even through we only went to Magdelenas a few times they were funny ones. Its a great bar for all as they make you feel so welcome even when your just walking past they shout comments at you (all nice ones of course). we'll prob be back, the girls in the jack daniels t-shirts x

My favourite place in Tsilivi! Loved it - the Mythos was always perfectly chilled and they had the best cocktails in Tsilivi - if not in the whole of Zante! - I think I tried most of them! Good for a quick bite in the afternoon, or even an ice cream. They showed a lot of the sport on tv too, and would put it on specially on one of their screens if there was something in particular that you wanted to watch. Enjoyed many a quiz night there too.

I returned from Tsilivi afew weeks ago and when i was there i was in Magdelenas every night. Great place to sit and have a drink, we were always welcomed by Leo, who is a great barman and such a friendly person (he's also really fit ;) and good looking), and he even sang 4 us on the karioke on our last night. Magdelenas is a top bar and you are missing out if you don't go there. Thanks to Leo for always being a friendly face to talk to at the bar, oh and good luck with the footie in December when you come to England, hope you do well coz you deserve it! Leanne! x

Just come back from Tsilivi we stayed at the magdlenas bar it was brilliant the staff are fantastic the room are lovely thanks to all for making our holiday one to remember will be back

Great food great music great films and a great atmosphere! Well worth a visit.

This is a wonderful bar by day and at night. The cocktails are the best in Tsilivi and the staff are wonderful - special mentions for Kyriakos, Elca, and wonderful Leo - hope to see you all again soon.

Still as good as it was before - at least some places don't change! Great place for all ages to go, there are pool tables etc there, good music playing and as usual the drinks were brilliant. Nice friendly staff as well. Will be back next year.

Dennis, I have only just recovered from your top-drawer cocktails - particularly liked the ice-cube catching, by the way!

This is a top-notch place to relax and have some fun - pool, air hockey, t'internet, karaoke (trust me - you'll actually enjoy it here) and a nice area at the front to get away from all of that.

Good booze, good entertainment, surreal Albanians on mopeds and a load of Welshman singing The Mush Song... a great night out, all-in-all...

We did not just like it we loved it there, it is a great and very friendly place to have a laugh although we always lost the quiz and in the end i had to buy one. i strongly recommend that if you go over to zante you have to go and visit the bar and then say hi from me

Banging place to be for the best atmosphere and the best place to go if u want to enjoy urself, good music local engish dj, good looking girlfriend who is very friedly, the best bar staff, very relaxed atmosphere like nothing ive ever known. cheap drinks friendly barstaff like ive ever known, trust goood place trust me.

Just returned from another year in Zante and it was superb as usual!! The best part as always is the fab cocktails that Sakkis makes and his range of hats. Sakkis, Effey and Georgiana are all lovely and make you feel very welcome. Even a year later they remain the same and remember you and your drink! Watch out for Sakkis' flaming special - its lethal!!
Cant wait to return in August and see them all again.

just returned from tsilivi,good resort,but what made our holiday was MAGDALENS.This was a great bar,had it all,pool tables,good music+DJ and great bar staff,especially sakkis.He made me and my family very welcome.When entering the bar though,watch out for low flying straws and ice cubes! First of all, hi to Denis & the rest of the jolly crew at Magdelenas! We had a gr8 time (coz we usually won the 'quiz'-thanks for readin all the answers out to us so we could correct our mistakes!) I got roped into workin behind the bar one night, which was, well, lets say an experience! (I'll be e-mailin the pictures over there shortly!) So once again, thanks everyone for a great time & some really funny pictures! (Hi to Alan & Steve who managed to get their cheesy grins on every picture!) Keep blowin the horn (!), attemptin some greek dancin (especially after a few Amstels & champagne cocktails) and squitin unsuspectin spectators of the characture drawings with Denis' good ol' waterpistol! it was a very good place to relax

Magdalens was a good all round bar. The English DJ played good music and it was always fairly busy. Entertainment-wise it had 3 pool tables, internet access and Sky TV. Drink was cheap too.

Only used the bar during the day, but it was pleasant, with friendly staff. Always seemed a quite happening place in the evening when we walked past.

Was such a priviledege to meet you all and to have the opportunity to get to know you. Really can't thank you enough for your friendliness, and making us (Tineke, my best friend) feel so at home. To us, Magdalenas is like walking into the Cheers bar: somewhere where everyone knows your name! Its a great place for playing pool and propping up the bar until the early hours with our mate, Dennis! (Congratulations and Good Luck to Effi and Sakis who are getting married in November!) Just got back from 2 weeks in Tsilivi - what a cool resort! And Magdalenas is by far the best bar out there. Dennis will serve you anything from an amazing cocktail, to a flaming black sambuca or just a nice cool beer. My friend Amy and I spent many a night in the bar till the small hours of the morning - you can't fault the friendliness of the staff and there always seems to be an atmosphere perfect for making new friends. Tarquin the DJ will play whatever you request, but watch out for his quizes - they're tough! Oh and beware of the Karaoke nights ... some of the staff "sing" (if you can call it that! - sorry girls!) You can't visit Tsilivi without paying a trip to Magdalena's - Dennis & Tarquin, you're the best - thanks for a great holiday. Corinna

Hey Guys.. me and the missus spent 2 whole wks in this place.. cudn't get away, Literally !! firstly cos of Dennis's shots and cocktails for Fi, secondly a good film at 7pm , then that Nutter Beano at 10pm. also good for the footie beano defo had what it tale to whoop the crowd up for those big England Games. Germany match was a night i will never forget. Cheers Beano !!

Hi everyone.. Beano here !! Well where do I start... Thanx to everyone for making Summer 2001 the best summer ever. Things got a bit crazy at times,speshally with the Sambuca and water guns.. ah such memories. So will it all happen again this Summer?? You bet it will !! It is around £2 for 1/2 hour although their pricing structure was quite hard to figure out. It was more than double the price for half an hour than it was for 15 mins.

To Beano & Kelly, thanks for a wonderful 2 weeks, the bar was wild & mad. As a lancs lad, the rendition of ilkley moor ba'tat has left me scared for life. however after Denis's visit to the police stn, the new version should be released on single. As for the people who slagged off the DJ, He's a good lad, as he lent me £50 when we run out of money on the last day!!! which we still owe. Cheers M8

the cocktails were great but the dj was a pissed up a**e and was completely offensive.

not a place to go if you want peace and quiet although good for an early evening film.

its gotta be a fab place i was only there 6 hrs and i pulled (yasoo harris from the red lion, pepa pepa). except nikos has an unhealthy obsession with the weight of my tits!!!! nerinas a b***h for goin back without me, but i get 8 weeks holiday next year, unlucky tsilivi!! nikos and beanos rendition of summer lovin has scarred me for life, oliva newton johns got nothin on nikos!! seya next year fo

What can I say about Magdalenas?!? Its fantastic and as for the Beano the DJ...... he's ok!!!!!! Only joking babes! The drinks, barstaff, entertainment and jiggy jiggy are fantastic, me and Lou had an amazing time and I can't wait to be back in 11 days. Seya then bloke for none stop pepa and jiggy jiggy......... but still don't believe you can change

This bar was great for music and drinks. But be warned DONT BUT VIDEOS FROM THERE!!!!! I bought Pearl Harbour and its absoluly rubish, you cant hear or see hardly anything.

Good drink, good company and enjoyed the killer pool. Stacy and mama say hi. The shots are big so wathc out. Downside, Lots of under age drinkers but they did not bother anyone

we have been here for fives years on the run and have got to know nikos and denis really well! this year beano was the dj and he was brilliant he wasn't happy getting beaten by my 13 year old son at killer pool (mike from salford)better luck next time! hope you got to speak to nez and had a good 30th! see you next year x

hi just got back from tsilivi yesterday and had a Brill time in magdalens. the bar men are great especially Nickos... (pipa nxt year!!) However one of the bar men was really nasty after he realised we did not fancy him, other than that though, a great laugh. p.s don't trust Nickos' shots- they'll knock you out!! see you all next year!! We came home from Tsilivi on 21st July and I miss my cocktail 'Mr Sex' like mad, very potent and Denis is such a whizz at making his specials, one of which caused my hubby to continually fall over all the way back to the hotel...Denis is a good laugh along with everyone else who works there...definately the best bar in Tsilivi...ps. watch out or you may get wet when you walk past and don't stop for a drink.

Watch out Tsilivi Holland and his sexy lady are in town on Thursday. Make sure the beer is cold and the music is loud, keep the turtles away from me because i am very afraid. God bless

Just got back. The BEST bar in town. Great fun and lots of laughs. Try the Phil and Beano challenge - I managed 21 seconds! If you go, tell Phil the DJ that Wendy and Justin recommended the place. Can't wait to go back later this year. Wendy, Cirencester

Been coming to Zante/Tsilivi for several years and are now good pals with Dennis, so much so I've got a cocktail named after me "the Tsilivi slapper". Dennis is a good guy as is Harry who does the breakfasts, can't wait to see them in June S@S

Well it's one of those things you just can't get away from, we're on holiday for 2 weeks and someones just got to check their email. So we all did. Very nice setting with could internet connections, plenty of time to check the mails and Stev even found time to look at some of his favorite lady sites!!!! if you know what I mean

Magdalens is so cool if you don't go there your a fool,go meet Dennis he's the best cos Magdalens beats the rest!

This is THE BEST bar in Tsilivi. Especially if you like to carry on till the wee small hours!! My daughter and I spent 8 wonderful weeks in Zakynthos in 1998 and spent many a brilliant evening in here with Dennis and the 2 NIkos'. See you again in October, boys!!!
