Been to Tsilivi twice before and we are flying out again in October. Zante Palace is an excellent hotel. Would recommend it to anyone, especially families and couples. The hotel is clean, mini market on site and as for the bar staff well what can I say?? They really make your holiday complete. A BIG 'Yassou' to Yannis, Despina, Katerina, Ilias and not forgetting Lilly - the fab cook!! Missing you all but will see you soon. Love from Victoria 'Principle'- as Yannis call's me!!
We stayed at Dannas in yr. 2000 it was a very nice place to stay. It is a 10 minute stroll into Tsilivi main town but lots of shops, restaurants and bars on the way or a cheap taxi fare home. Directly opposite and next to Dannas are restaurants but these are fairly quiet, and close at about 10:30PM. Dannas herself lives on the complex and is a really, nice kind lady. Inside the rooms it is fully-conitioned so nice and cool at night. I would rate Dannas a 9/10.
Faulty Towers is the best snack bar in Tsilivi, with a lovely English couple, Tony and May, who own it. They make a fantastic full English Breakfast and their bacon baps are yummy!! And the prices make it an even more enjoyable place to eat!! If you are planning on staying in Tsilivi be sure to pop-in and try it out for yourself.
We stayed @ Daisy studios on our second holiday to Tsilivi. When I first got off the coach I thought what a lovely little place to stay. Until we had been there barely a few hours and discovered the door lock was broken. The owner blamed the incident on my two younger siblings and tried to charge us for the damage. When we refused as it was already damaged, the owners wife abused my mother and reduced her to tears. Our rep moved us to Dannas studios where we thoroughly enjoyed the remainder of our holiday in Tsilivi.
Message for PETER LINDLEY. Hey Peter what date in October u due to fly out?? We r from Runcorn (not too far from u) and fly on the 3rd of October, we r also staying @ the Tsilivi Beach Hotel (B&B). Let me know. Thanx.
Due to fly out to Tsilivi for the third time but staying at the Tsilivi Beach Hotel for the first time. Thanks for all the great comments, really looking forward to going.
Tsilivi is a beautiful, fantastic resort and suits all generations. Tsilivi offers a fantastic golden sand beach which is extremely clean and safe for children. There are lots of restaurants to choose from dependant on the Cuisine you desire, and most at reasonable prices. There are plenty of lively bars to choose from for that little extra bit of fun, or if you prefer, quiet family-run bars for relaxed nights. There are lots of day-time excursions including the boat trip around the island, my personal favourte, with plenty of things to see and do, especially the ship-wreck at smugglers cove. I would highly recommend Tsilivi to anyone. It is a fantastic resort to stay in, so-much-so I won't try anywhere else!! Tsilivi is a 11/10!!
Message for TINA THOMAS: I'm also going to Tsilivi for the first two weeks in October. Ive been twice before, both also in October. The weather is still quite hot although some days can be moderatly warm. In the evening, can still be warm but gets chilli as the night goes on so be sure to take a cardigan. PLACES TO EAT: 'Faulty Towers' do a smashing range of food at reasonable prices. It is owned by an English couple from Lymm, Cheshire. 'Popeyes' is, in my opinion, the best restaurant in Tsilivi. Also 'Pieros' and 'The Olive Tree.' Hope this information has been useful. Enjoy your holiday. Tsilivi is a lovely resort, so I'm sure you will have a fab time. PS: Where ru staying?? And where u flying from??
Pieros has got to be the best restaurant in Tsilivi. The food is extremely nice, some dishes may be a bit on the expensive side, but well worth it. Waiters/ Waitress' fantastic with the children and provided them with pictures to colour along with colouring pencils, whilst waiting for their meal. This keeps the children busy, so all can enjoy a nice relaxed meal. The rump steak was my favourite, but there is something for everyone. Pieros is definatly worth visiting if staying in Tsilivi.
MSG for Carol H. All the bars are brill, they do let children in no-matter what time. Plenty of bars to choose from and great, friendly people who own them. There are 11 of us going although wew are on different flights. Only 5 of us are staying at this hotel. Where are you flying from and what time??
MSG for CAROL H. We are on the same flight as you. 9.50AM also from Manchester. I guess you will see us there. You will be able to tell who I am, Just look out for my two younger (blonde) brothers aged 4+6 with big gobs!! Ha,Ha!! Cya soon, can't wait ither!!
MSG FOR EVERYONE WHO HAS READ COMMENT BY TRACEY: Tsilivi is nothing like she has explained. Alright it mey not be everyones 'cup-of-tea' but generally it is a lovely resort. The beach doesn't contain any empty comdom packets, wonder where they came from?? The beach is lovely and golden sand is fantastic, alright there is a few pebbles when entering the sea, but what do you expect, total paradise?? There are plenty of resaurants that serve georgeous food, tracey must have picked the cheap ones!! As for the bars, there are some lively ones but the ones that are averagly quiet do have entertainment nights. So if your not boring, you make your own fun!! I'm travelling to Tsilivi for my third time later this year and I cant wait for the holiday of a lifetime, again!! Tracey if you want lively bars, horrible beaches and cheap restaurants, go back to Spain!!
Imeant MAY not MEY!!
Hi, Ive been to Zante three times and I'm coming back again in October with my Boyfriend, Mum and Dad and my two little brothers. We all love the Zante Palace especially the bar staff, Yannis, Debbie,Katarina, Ilias, Mario and Lilly the cook. Unfortunatly we have lost contact with Yannis&staff and I was wondering if he will be running the Zante Palace Pool Bar again this coming season. If any of you know if Yannis is going to be running the bar this season then please leave a note on this page.
Hi, I'm coming to Tsilivi yet again in October with my boyfriend and my mum, dad and two little brothers. I was just wondering what type of entertainment there is within the hotel. I'm really looking forward to going back to Tsilivi, but the wait is killing me, October seems like a life-time away!!!!!!!!!

MESSAGE FOR PURPLE TURTLE: Thankyou so much for your kind information. My dad is the main one who kept incontact with Yannis and thespina but sadly yannis changed his mail address and we haven't heard anything from him for a while. Is there any chance you could send me his mail or ask yannis yourself to get in contact with Gary Watson. if he can't remember him (but I'msure he will remember us!!) then tell him Helena, Gary, Vicky, Dominic and Simon say hello. This should re-fresh his memory on who we are!! Here is my dads mail address for Yannis: gw1967@ntlworld.com
MESSAGE FOR PURPLE TURTLE: Thank-you very much. We have now sent Yannis a mail and are now waiting for a reply off him. What date in September are you going back to Zante?? Hiya Everyone, Been to Tsilivi twice before but didn't find the Red Lion until our second visit. I'm so glad we did find it, the food is georgeous, the drinks are well prepared and they do tasty cocktails!! Also there is a little play area for the kidz whilst the parents relax!! Will defo be eating there again this year when we arrive in October. Can't wait!!
Yes, the travel agents may be right. The Dannas is made up of two blocks, each containing about four top appartments and Four bottom appartments. However, Dannas lives along the whole top floor of one of the blocks, so dependant on if the four other top floor apartments are booked, you may or may-not get a top floor apartment. Complicated I know, but it is true!! Good Luck.
MESSAGE FOR MARTAIN:
I stayed at Dannas appartments three years ago. When we were there, there was no safety deposit boxes or air conditioning. However the rooms were very cool. Like I said this was three years ago, so maybe Dannas does have air conditioning now. The appartments are lovely and homely, and Dannas makes you feel very welcome!!
Hiya. Im staying at Tsilivi Admirals from 5th October this year with my Parents an little brothers, and was just wondering if there is anyone of a similar age to me (17) staying here at the same time. Let me know: vix1985uk@yahoo.co.uk Thanks xxx
