Hi Simon...remember me? The "Other" Simon with the North American "twang"?
Still dreaming about you ;)
October 18th will be when I shall be at the Villa Denise once more and I am looking forward to it so much.
Hope to meet some of the people who visit this website too.
Simon.
Hey Nick...Are you sure you know how to spell?
Blimey Sian...you must have stayed in a different Villa Denise than I have been staying in since 1997.I can not fault this place and it is my first choice (pardon the pun) every time I go to Zakynthos.
I shall see you all on tuesday 19th and looking forward to staying in the wonderful apartments called Villa Denise.
Only a few hours until I am in Zakynthos again.Looking forward to meeting you all at the Villa Denise.
Simon xXx
Excellent place.Good food and good service.Val and Moira are great girls and always have a smile.
Will go there again next year for sure.
Val....all I will say to you is...Poached Eggs! :)

Blimey you lot are obviously working for a rival restaurant.
Tiffanys is an excellent place to eat.I have been visiting Argassi for many years and I have always eaten at Tiffanys.I have not had a bad meal yet from there.
As for Peter? Well he is a very funny guy and does not man-handle the ladies at all.
Take no notice of any negative comments about Tiffanys,it is a great place to eat and I would recommend it to anyone.
Well I spent my usual holiday at the Villa Denise last month and it was excellent as usual.Dennis and Maggie were the perfect hosts and I was treated on many occasions to a Greek Coffee and also a few meals at the poolside.
Sian you are obviously working for a rival Hotel/Apartment block and don't want people to stay at the Villa Denise as there was absolutely no sign at all of the Dogs barking or urinating in the pool or the Chickens that you mentioned. The room I stayed in was spotless and was cleaned twice during my visit, there was no sign of any stinking drains like you mentioned either.
You say you didn't see Dennis and Maggie? Did you look? They are in room number 3.
Altogether it was a great holiday and I am going to see if I can book to go there in May and October next year.

Er yes Zante Master...we all know that you must work for the Snack Academy as you mention it in practically every message you leave on here.
Don't think this hasn't been noticed! :)
...and just to prove how great the Villa Denise is,I have booked for a week in may and october 2005!
I can't wait to see everyone's faces when I turn up in Argasi in may as I don't usually go at that time of the year.
sfparton@yahoo.co.uk
Please do eat at Tiffanys Paul...you won't be disappointed, despite what some say on here.
Hey girls..See you in May and hopefully October once more.
Have you learned how to poach eggs yet? ;)

Hi Liam.
I was the one who stayed at the Villa Denise in october 2004 and has been to Zakynthos many times.
Was great to have met you.

Weighing 15 stones you can imagine my initial reluctance on stepping onto this platform! However,it is a beautiful view of the shipwreck even though the slightest amount of wind sent the platform shaking like crazy (Yes,even with ME on it!)
I have never felt so unsafe in my entire life, but I am pleased I did it.

Hey Girls....see you in two weeks!
OK Everyone at the Villa Denise....see you tomorrow evening!
October the 18th will be my next visit to the Villa Denise Apartments.
Well if Peters Family Restaurant is so bad then how come I have never had a bad meal there?
See you all tomorrow folks!
Hi Val,Moira and Maria.
Had a great holiday at the Villa Denise...as I usually do.
Well I ate at Peter's restaurant every night of my stay in Argassi..as I usually do! Funnily enough I didn't feel ill after eating there..as I have NEVER done!
Well Leanne that's up to you if you don't want to go to Zakynthos again but it hasn't put me off.
Hi again folks.
Sid Mutch....You are talking rubbish mate...almost as bad as your spelling!
I have never had a bad holiday at the Villa Denise and certainly never heard any Cockerels or "Dogs across the road"
Are you sure you actually stayed at the Villa Denise?
Blimey Jess....is English your first language?
Well, after a lovely visit to Zakynthos,my partner and I decided to get a drink and a bite to eat at the airport Snack-Bar…which I may add is a new Snack-Bar this year.
Imagine our surprise when we found out how much we would have to pay for the following items…
2 Cans of Pop – 7 Euros (£5)
A Crusty Baguette – 5 Euros (£3.58)
A Pint of Lager – 8 Euros (£5.72)
What a damn rip-off!!
I have visited Zakynthos 16 times over the last 10 years and I have always enjoyed my stay. However, having encountered the prices being charged at this Snack-Bar I feel damned insulted to say the least! It was as if they were saying “Thank you for visiting our island…now sod-off and don’t come back!”
I hope the Zakynthos Tourist Board is reading these comments and does something about it.People do NOT deserve to be ripped-off like this.
Therefore,I must warn people returning from a visit to Zakynthos to not buy refreshments from the airport Snack-Bar and to take your own food and drink instead.
I noticed this year that all resorts in Zakynthos were very quiet.Even Laganas (usually the busiest resort) was like a ghost-town.They have obviously been put-off by something, and the people who did visit Zakynthos this year will not be persuaded to return thanks to Mr Rip-Off’s Snack-Bar at the airport.
I also noticed that for the first time in 10 years people’s hand luggage was being weighed at Zakynthos airport as you checked-in for departure…a ridiculous practice because as soon as you go to the departure lounge you can then visit the duty-free shop and buy even more goods making your hand-luggage even heavier!
Incidently,6 cans of pop at the airports duty-free shop cost 6.5 Euros…quite a lot cheaper than Mr Rip-Off’s Snack Bar!
My partner and I went on the last trip to Kefalonia for this year.
We booked through our rep and travelled with Fidelity Travel.
Our guide for the day was Jo,she was very informative yet funny and approachable. She always had a smile on her face and we could tell through the tone of her voice that she had a passion for her job.
Kefalonia is a beautiful island, and don't forget to sample the Kefalonian Meat Pie while you are there....Yum! We found the recipe on the net and had a go at making it this weekend...with very good results.
Jo,if you are reading this then yes Nigel (Ebay) and Simon (16 times visited!) made it home safely and look forward to seeing you again next year.
Excellent food and service...as usual.I have eaten at ALL the other restaurants in Argassi and I find Peter's to be the best.
Argassi beach IS narrow!
The Marinero Restaurant was closed when I was in Zakynthos last month.
I agree with you Karen.
Hi Karen ...yes we are fine thanks.
Jon I am sure that if my posts were not to the liking of the owners of this site I am sure that they would have been removed by now.As it is they haven't.
October 23rd is when Nigel and I will be returning to the Villa Denise in Argassi.
From what Peter was saying at the end of last season, the restaurant will be moving location this year.It will be to the space next door where the Indian Restaurant used to be.
I have heard that the Mouse House has closed down
Well said Debbie!
Hi all at Yo-Yos!
Spoke to a friend of mine from Zakynthos yesterday and he said that Peter is no longer at his restaurant.
He said the reason was that Peter's daughter has just given birth to her second child and he wants to spend time with her. Also he feels he is "getting to old" to be working at his restaurant now
I know people have some negative opinions of Peter but he is a very good friend of mine,he has been a familiar sight in Argassi for the last 10 years that I have been visiting Zakynthos and I wish him well with whatever he is doing.
Peter...we will miss you
October 30th 2007.
Excellent food and service as usual from Peter and his staff.
My partner Nigel and I have spent the last week of the holiday season at the Villa Denise.
