Closed for good? - lack of business, recession etc August 2010 - Stavros & Nikos decided not to open Erato - but they still run a cafe in Zakynthos Town called Deals (on Alexander Roma Street). Benny works at a Taverna in the center of Zakynthos Town across the road (diagonally) from Leonas kebab taverna - you will see him stood at the front touting for customers as usual. Erato was always our favorite taverna - great food and friendly staff - in 12 visits to Argassi we must have eaten there over 30 times - and we were never disappointed. Sadly missed but not forgotten.

Another victim of the credit crunch? Closed 2009. Lovely setting and live music.

Last opened 2008. This was a very good Chinese restaurant, we ate there many times. Husband, Wife and daughter team - always very polite. ENJOY!!

One of our favorites and still open in 2009. A short walk up a steep hill, the views across to town are great at night. Food is simple but well prepared and very good value. Nice relaxed vibe.

Lasted open in 2007? What a shame it is closed - good value and lovely 'real greece' location and vibe.

With a lot of other tavernas now closed and in particular the closure of Erato (opposite) this place was v. busy in August 2010. Good Italian food. wood fired oven.

August 2010 - ate there 3 times. Has now taken over from Erato as the best taverna in Argassi.

Closed in 2007/8. What a fabulous setting.

Stayed here 12 times! Its location and quality are excellent. The views across to the mainland are priceless. We will be back.
