Are there safe's to hire for your valuables, etc?,cheers Mark
Exchange rates were exactly the same as in the uk when we left 1.40 euro to the pound. Money exchanges along the main road in Tsilivi. There is a Bank Machines underneath the escalator (green neon lights at night) by the Tourist Shop on the beach road. Shops/Restaurants do take cards also.
Going to Tzilivi in 3 weeks, can anyone give any advice on the best way to take cash. ie, travellers cheques, euros etc.
The last review was the wrong way around - £100 for 142 euros! Oops!
There a lot of souvenir shops along the main road that exchange money with no commission so it's very easy to get hold of euros there.
It cost £142 to get 100 euros which I think is the conversion rate anyway, therefore no commission.
We used Tom and Johns supermarket, better rates given than the shops on the main drag.
