The Garden

Visited The Garden on our last visit, in June 04, and will be going back again when we return in September. One of the best meals we had in Kalamaki, and we only found it by chance as it's quite hidden away down the back roads. Excellent value for money, typical Greek food and my wife heartily recommends the best Moussaka ever. I ordered a "beefsteak" off the menu and when it arrived was amazed at size of "T" bone I was given, it was delicious. All run  by lovely Greek family, who make you feel like part of the family whilst you are there.

As a family we went to "The Garden" on four seperate occasions. All I can say is that the food was excellent. If you are looking for auathentic greek food with freiendly service and reasonabale prices then you should visit "The Garden". Try the Mousaka it is light and delicious with a hint of nutmeg. Eilidh, had Prok Souvlaki which was a treat, freshly cooked on a charcoal barbecue with a sauce and lemon. Also recommended is the lamb from the oven as well as the chicken. We found the food good and the prices reasonable, where else in kalamaki could you feed a family of three  for under thirty euros.

Second time We have ben to Zante and this place is the place to eat if you want good Greek food, it is hidden away behind the two brothers but it is top notch,the menu is not over large but its the right price Quality.So forget the plastic food on the front and find the garden
