Anagenessis Village Hotel

The anagenesis apartments r great we got back about 3weeks ago n thoroughly enjoyed it. Kosta n his family make you feel so welcome they are really, really friendly. The hotel is maintained very well, its very clean as your room is cleaned every day. The greek nights are great they are held on a friday night. Everyone gets up greek dancing n then it ends with english dancing. The barbeques are out of this world. I will definetly consider re-visting as the people are so friendly n the hotel is superb. The pool is a good size too which is a bonus. From the hotel it is about a 20 min walk to the main centre of kalamaki n then about another 5mins to the beach but once you set off walking it doesnt seem that far. This walk didnt bother us at all as the hotel makes up 4 it. It was excellent n i would recommend it to anyone. Hiya Kostas, Christina, Daniel , Aphrodite n kostas mama n papa. I was on the same holiday as Angela (see below) she's is my sister!! We were a party of 6, Angela and Bob, Zoe, Susan and Anthony + me!
I totally agree with the comments she made, Kostas and his Mama, Papa,Daniel and Aphrodite helped make our holiday just fantastic! This place is beautifully clean, the food was great, Mama's Carbonara
was to die for(Angela will vouch for this)!! The Greek night was just fab, I have never had so much fun, the bar-b-que was just great, and then comes the music and the dancing...(we have a video of our 2 greek nights!!) not being much of a dancer, doesn't matter to Kostas, he gets you up dancing
anyway!! Daniel's flame throwing amazed us all, and Aphrodite's dancing in a ring of fire was just fab. Then comes "THE BOX".... Kostas has a box behind the bar which he gets people to dance on, what a laugh, and yes I'm afraid to say "I DID IT"!!!! We had so much fun on our holiday we are doing it again next year, but this time my hubby Les will be coming and also my sister Michelle,hubby Glen,and their children Shannon and Benn. Imagine what 11 of us will be doing!!!!

Just returned from holiday my first abroad. Went with family that had been before. Appartments were great very clean and tidy just a small place with 18 appartments swimming pool, bar, and thay also do a great greek night which we all enjoyed danced till the early hours if you can keep up Kostas and family made us feel very welcome. Mama often handed us a flower and a nice smile its the little touches that make you feel like family, you have to walk about twenty mins in to town if you want the resturants and bars but if you want a quite holiday this is just the place to go, liked it so much we booked our holiday yesterday eager to get back.Taking more family with us this time 11 in all taking up most of the rooms.

how is the anagenesis apartments. Are they clean and well maintained. Where are they situated eg. what bars, tavernas are the close by. Is the pool of a nice size and well maintained to. What are the people who own it like(friendly). Please get back to me as soon as possible because i am going in just under 3 weeks time. Thanks

We had a lovley stay and will be going back again next year. Costas and the family were very friendly and made you fell very much at home.

Thanks to Kostas and the familiy for an excellent 14 days. Nice salads and very friendly. Good views of the area and look through the arch at the sunset!

anagenesis apartments wre excellent

The hotel was nice and quiet and well laid out. Our room however (a studio) was too small for the three of us with very little wardrobe space. The main areas were kept clean but we suffered from the usual dodgy Greek plumbing, and it was pot luck if you had any hot water. The location was nice surrounded by farms, but it was a twenty minute trek to the edge of the resort and the walk back at night with no pavements and little or no street lights was a bit hairy. Monika and Kostas and the family were very friendly and made us all welcome.

We arrived home today after two weeks at the Anagenesis which we thoroughly enjoyed,but I have to agree that they are a bit off the beaten track,we ended up hiring a car as my two young daughters found the walk hard going.The apartments are of a good standard and Monika who works behind the bar is a real star,we dont know where she gets the energy from to work the hours she does.If you want a real 'get away from it all' holiday this is ideal.

can`t fault theses apartments apart from the location, they`re a bit out of the resort centre. rooms were cleaned everyday and the pool and bar area was spotless. good for kids as there is a play-area and kids pool and plenty of space for them to run about safely. the staff are wonderful( big hello to kostas and monika) would definately visit again

Just arrived back from Zante. These apartments were lovely but the location is too far away from Kalamaki itself. Walking into Kalamaki is a dangerous sport. We are used to the roads as have been to Zante a few times but found walking into Kalamaki a bit hair raising. If you want an away from it all holiday, these apartments are for you.

Very stylish accomodation. We had a two bedroomed apartment which was a too small. A good 25 minute walk to the town and further to the beach. A good holiday made excellent due to our newly made friends. Pool very deep. The Harborne and Walker family

very pretty gardens and accomodation was very good, though cooking facilities very basic. Quite a walk from the town and the beach. Pool & rooms cleaned every day. Agree that the pool is deep at the shallow end but there is a small kiddies pool. staff very helpful and snacks available at the bar.
