akis allison n maggie are the best i missin it lots its the best bar in kalmaki by far and i dnt nowant the mans on a bout allison is so nice ok!! n josh dont act like he owns the places and of course you have you have to pay for the xboxs you arent getting them free are you !!! anyway hello akis allison n maggie u are the best n i will be seeing you next year def!! n akis n allison i smiling and if you see the fat p**v tell him i hate him grr!! luv ya bekki ( you might remember me the girl that you was always telling to smile !! dont worry i will be smilling next year as we coming for 3 weeks cant wait 2 see you guys agen ) and that man needs to get hes facts right !!!!

never liked it here it not the same as it use to be,

found alison the english girl who is married to akis very arrogent and rude and her son josh thinks he owns the place, plenty of t.v screen's but you can only watch 1 at a time and you have to pay to play the xbox / playstation games where as they are free at the pool bar and the drinks are alot cheaper at the pool bar also. hope it gets better next year with maybe some1 new running it if not it will go down like the titanic dont get me wrong akis is a good man but she spoils it with her rudeness some1 needs to tell her it is our holiday not hers so sorry but thumbs down

Fantastic sports entertainment bar, number one on the island, can show seven different football games at once. The nicest family run bar we have been in this year nothing was ever too much trouble met some of the nicest people on the island who made us feel so welcome. Excellent entertainment and fantastic quiz and bingo prizes over 100 euros most nites.Great choice of computer games for our teenage son X box, playstation, internet and much more all at very reasonable prices, keep the teenagers happy and the parents can relax knowing their kids are safe.Will definately return to the cava doro to see Alison Akis and Josh again.

this is by far the best bar in the whole of zante. akis alison and yannis are the best bar hosts you could ask for. we loved our time so much in 05 we came back again to the same place. we love it! i would definitely recommened it to anyone in kalamaki as you will not regret it.

Just back from a week at the Cavo D'oro.  Had a great time and want to say a big hello and thank you to Alison, Akis, Duncan and Yannis (not forgetting Cindy the dog!) for the warm welcome we received.  We had a great time and are depressed to be back home

well what can i say!!!!

As always, Alison and Akis were the perfect hosts and proved that the Cavo Doro bar is still the one with the very best atmosphere in Kalamaki!  It's a great place to watch the footie ...... not to mention the cricket ...... !!  Only complaint (??!!) is that Barry finds Alison's gin and tonics a bit too strong - but I have no complaints on that score!!!!  All the very best to you both for the 23rd - hope you have a great day - and hope we will see you again if we get back to Kalamaki next year!

Yes all the best for the wedding, sorry I didn`t get back this year, will more than make it up next year!!! This bar is a MUST for anyone in Kalamaki, it has to be a good one for me to end up joining in bingo!Thought I`d never see the day... all the best to you all for the wedding and the close season!

totally agree with Charlotte, one of the most welcoming places I`ve ever been to in Zante, and when I first went years ago, rolling in at 5am, we were still welcome.

Credit to Akis, Alison, Georges, Costas and Akis` sister for lovely food at lunchtime, they deserve to so well

Couldn't get us out of this bar, had a permanent perch just the side every night. Cocktails were great, music was great and even attempted Bingo for the first time ever. Karaoke was also a very good laugh. If you go to Kalamaki you have to go here, if you don't you're missing out!
Hi to Alsion and Akis, we're missing you already. You totally made our honeymoon for us in the evenings with all the laughs and those dodgy shots of sambuca (alsion!!) Just came back from Kalamaki yesterday and stayed at the Cavo D'Oro hotel. Had a fantastic time and would definately recommend it. Hi to George and Nancy, thanks for a great fortnight!!!

Big thanks to Akis, he`s made a real effort with his bar and deserves some support, sad to be back home but a great week nonetheless! Hi to Akis,George and Alison somewhere back in England!

The 1 bedroom apartments here were very good and clean, we had good size bath towels, apartment was cleaned every day and bins emptied every day cant fault the apartment at all, just wish they supplied a kettle but no other complaints at all. Well done to all the cleaners.

Just back from this beautiful bar which was brilliant, the atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming. The people that work behind the bar are fantastic especially george and winnie the pooh(Yes Akis you known thats you)I'm joking Akis ha ha ha! A place you have to reivist again and again! The drinks r prerfect especailly the GEORGE SPECIAL cocktail!! The bar has air conditioning and ur every need is attended to.

Great bar, great atmosphere, good value, fun people, and air conditioning and refurbishment too ! What more can I say !

hello everyone at the bar, this place is great we went to zante for 2 weeks n most of are holiday nights were spent in this bar. the people are so friendly and the drinks are great. If u get the great chance to go there play the card game click that is excellant. I played that one night for the first time and won.The man who does it is funny his fav words are Turn it over! If i had the chance i would go back again.
If the people at the bar see this gorge and the gang i say hi and so do my parents and my mates gemma, marc and carly we miss u all loads and hope to see u soon. Lots of luv steff -X-

This was our hotel bar, so we always stopped of there before going to other places, although sometimes we didn't get very far. Staff were really pleasant and drinks prices were reasonable.

It sounds sad, but we had a right laugh a couple of nights playing the winner takes all/ bingo card thing. The bloke who does it is great (turn it over, you don't need that anymore he he he!) and we were well chuffed as we won 50 euros in total (although we probably spent about that!). If they have karaoke on though run as fast as your little legs will carry you as we walked past when it was on and the person singing must have been tone deaf!

The Cavo Doro bar has once again surpassed itself. We've just returned from our third visit to the CD, and it gets better each year. The addition of Air Conditioning is a real bonus.

The music is always good, with big screens to see the latest videos, and Karaoke nights. There is Click bingo with money prizes and there was rumour of quiz nights with the "Quiz Master" Alison.

The best thing about the Cavo Doro bar are the people - Akis (the owner/manager)and Alsion are as friendly and lively as they come. As for George - you won't find many like him anywhere - but watch out for his cocktails - they can be lethally strong, especially when followed with one or more shots of ouzo and sabuca! This team make for some great entertainment, and always make you feel like you have been coming there for years.

If youv'e returned from Kalamaki and not gone to the Cavo Doro you have really missed out on a great time - you will have to go back again. For those yet to go - make this your main destination of an evening!
