I`ve never been in I must admit but can I say how WRONG it is for people to come on here and repeatedly make disrespectful comments about this bar?

I`m sure the owners and staff work a LOT of hours and try their hardest for people, and to anyone reading this don`t listen to all the nasty comments, try the bar yourselves!

What a great bar, sweetie!. You've heard of finding Nemo, well find "absolutely"If you need an alternative from the main town this is it. A short hop in a taxi and "voila."

Both the girls are great fun and the atmosphere is buzzing.

A must visit in Zante, absolutely.

Just back from Kalamaki and visited many, many bars over there. We kept going back to Ansolutely due to the excellent cocktails (After Eight? Don't mind if I do) but more importantly because of the lovely, friendly staff and warm atmosphere and good music. We suggest you go there and see for yourself.
Girls, it was lovely to meet you both and we wish you all the best for the future.

I totally agree, how sad is somebody who goes back to a place just cos of a bar, espcially when it is Absolutely. I am pleased that you liked the Cave Bar.

Ive just returned from zante, and can not understand the comments.
how can some of you say its the best bar, and i only go back to zante,because of Absolutely,how sad. Yes the bars ok, but its so dead, when i was in it there were 5 people,but we gave it a nother go, and this time only about 3.I must agree with some of the other comments,about the cave bar, we only found this bar on our last 2 nights,now this was a good bar great music & lots of people.
I did read this site before i went out, and went 2 other bars.
Absolutely had a mixed review thats why we went there 2 make our own minds up,but i must say the people who said about the cave bar being the best r wright.We will go back 2 Zante, but not just for one bar.

I've just booked again to Kalamaki purely because of Absolutely. If there's any other island in the world you'd go back to because of a particular bar let me know. Nikki and Kate, keep up the good work...you're obviously rattling a few cages. Looking forward to seeing you; there 17th sept.

I would have to say that Absolutely is one of the best bars on the island. The girls are great, always very friendly and great company.
Its the second year in a row ive been there and its still just as good. Hope to see you all next year

Dear owners, yes you do know me i was the tall man from leeds with black hair. when i came in i sat at the bar talking to the blond one, im giving my comments to reply to the others, that is what this site is 4. Other people not just me give good and bad comments, and if i dont agree with them i will give my views. As i said b4 i have not got a problem you or the other girl, im just giving constructive comments,if people wright about my comments i will reply, its funny how some people agree with me on the site,but ok some dont.
Dont forget this is a site for diferent views, not every body likes the same film.I hope your bar works for you, and you have an Absoluty great time.

It has been brought to the owners attention of Absolutely that there has been some unpleasant remarks made concerning the bar. If the people that are writing these remarks could kindly refrain from making any more and make themselves known to the owner who will be happy to hear their constructive criticism in person.

Paul - I'm afraid that I have to agree with Filos. I returned from Kalamaki a little while ago and went to this bar once. It is a good place to go if you want some help to get to sleep as it has no life! After that first visit, we didn't go back but did notice that most nights, there was no more than 8 people in there. There girls are friendly however, they don't make enough effort to attract people into the bar! I may try Filos's shed next time as it's probably got more going for it!

Its funny,2 see a few comments defend the girls from boys/men, and would like 2 know them better. strange that.

Sorry Paul but I have to agree with Fillos!!!! This bar does not have any atmosphere whatsoever and it doesn't say much for your holiday if you have time to get on the web and add your comments. Did you enter your comments whilst you were in this bar cos there was nothing else to do!!!!!! Say no MORE. Have you tried the Cave Bar or has that got toooooooo much class and atomosphere for you!!!!!!!!!

Well Fillos, I am on holiday at the moment & I think this bar plays great music (you obviously have no taste). Just because the girls don't leap about & throw ice does not mean they can't run a bar. I think they're wonderful!. No I'm not related (although I'd like to be...girls?)
It's not been busy the times I've been in, but this bar seems to go for quality not quantity!!!
I suggest Fillos that if you cannot say anything good about a place, then go back to your frog in the shed!!!!!!!

every time i went passed the most people in there was about 4, and that was a very good night. girls yes you are nice, but you do not have any clue how to run a bar. you just stand there arms folded, and look bored stiffff.who are these people saying you play great music. when i came in i could have been in a shed talking 2 a frog, that would have been more fun.these people who say its great are they your family.try the cave thats a good bar went there 2 times,very good.

Hi Guys, Just wanted to say thank you for making our holiday a good'un. To everyone else reading this, you won't find a better bar that plays 'real' music like this one. Friendly, and always handing out useful advice (Avoid the Panorama). Myself, Neil, Paul and Alan, wouldn't hesitate going back again. Who needs Lagana.

I have to totally agree with Matthew here. We found that this bar completely lacked any atmosphere and although the 2 girls that ran it were very polite and plesant, it seemed they really did not know how to run a bar and how to get some life in it going. Great location though.

Not too sure how this bar got its 10/10 rating, as i've recently returned from Kalamaki and it was practically empty every night!! We stopped for a drink and the peace and quiet was lovely as we were the only ones there!!

just got back from zante yesterday, had a really good time, some of the nightlife was as tacky as a nasty english seaside resort, but in finding absolutely we were able to find one of the nicest bars we had ever been to, and even better there were no god damn pr's forcing us in. Good music, good conversation, nice drinks(i've never been anywhere where the bar staff knew what i was gonna have, better lay of the coke) Thank u guys for making r evening drinking a relaxing experience and keeping us moderatly sane.(down with those strays!) hunks? :-i saw a particuly nasty bloke in the mirror!

the best bar by far in not only kalamaki but zante.....full stop.... the music is whatever you want it to be, but always bangin' and the girls.....aaahhh, the girls......are great hosts and really know how to enjoy themselves, which they pass on to the customers, making them feel more than special. thanks for a great time and for the best cocktails on the island...will be back for more real soon miss you loads, love bennyboy.....xx

Just returned from a week's holiday in Kalamaki, and this bar was one of the best we went to. Although the bar itself was generally quiet, it didn't put us off going in and having a few drinks. The atmosphere and the lay out of the bar is really welcoming and the music was great. Really easy listening. Also if you go, you have to try the "after eight" cocktail. Its to die for !!!
The girls are really welcoming and chilled out. Nothing is too much trouble. Would definitely like to go back and visit this bar again.

I'm Neils mate he has just returned from Zanti. He went to the Absolutely Bar and had a cracking time. The service is second to none and the girls ( Kate and Nicky ) make you feel really welcome. When I go to Zanti this is the bar I will go to.

I had a weeks holiday with my boyfriend Mark in Kalamaki in July
2003 and we became regulars at Absolutely! We really loved it,
Kate and Nikki were so friendly and chatty whenever we popped
in. They will remember us as the couple that loved their 'After
Eight' cocktail! It's the best! It was lovely of them to pop out and
buy some more chocolate milkshake for our cocktails when they
ran out! Sorry its taken so long to e-mail you, but we still miss
you and we had the best holiday ever!

Was there in October and have just booked to come back in May. Will be spending majority of time here (obviously cos of Kate and Nikki) but also because of the music - Variety was great only place I heard The Streets hotly followed by S club followed up by Janes Addiction mixed in with Basement Jaxx - Far better than the euro trash that the majority of bars play - although know the girls were partial to Sugababes and also Ma Baker Boney M!!

Great bar with great music. Was our local whilst we were in Kalamaki, although I think I may have overestimated my abilities when it came to the vodka shots!! Keep in touch girls

Another good bar, a vast selection of flavoured vodkas!!! Atmosphere was good, nothing to intruding and deco was lovely!! Great service and good prices. Staff are friendly without being OTT, a great medium between the too quiet bars and the too OTT bars!!!!

Great little bar, run by two very friendly and fun young ladies, who made us feel completely at home, took everything we threw at them with a smile, and definately made our stay a memorable one. Highly recommend visiting Absolutely, never met anyone else on the island who tried harder to make us welcome, thanks for putting up with us all, and for a really good time, hope to see you girls again.

The cocktails here are fab but make sure you go after nine when the price is reduced th 2.5 euros instead of 4. The music was just the right volume and the toliets where the best on the island!The staff are very friendly and i would recomend this bar.

This place was empty every night we walked past so we didn't try it.

Hi ladies, hope you are all well. this is the best bar that i have ever been in, and i drink quiet a bit! the staff are the best that i have ever met. the whole idea of the bar staff talking to you as if they have always known you. this is by far the nicest bar i have been in. everything was just perfect. they even have a life size jenga. if you are visiting this island i would recomend absolutley, i have to warn you though, once you go in you wont want to come out, and if you are really lucky you might meet big ben. thanks again guys for making my holiday.........later!

My mates and I always stopped here for to many shots before we went into Laganas....Nothing to do with the fact that we fancied the barman!

This is the seventh time my family and I have visisted Kalamaki and we thought this bar was lovely. The staff were great with my two children and my husband and I were left to sip the very good cocktails that Ben makes!
Will defeintely be returning for an eighth time. Thanks for a great time.

Absolutely loved it!!! This bar is great. Chilled out in the days and returned for the evening enslaught! Am seriously thinking about coming back in October so be warned!!

Well what can I say? Location perfect,drinks varied and tasty,customers welcoming,music funky.If only the barstaff were as consistent! Only joking ; Ben was a legend apart from him persistently asking for my inside leg measurements and phone number, Nikki was as friendly as they come but had constant nightmares about me and my mate Dan coming to the bar, and Kate...well,there's too many to list in one E-Mail; homophobic,a definite hygeine problem,sexist towards Ben,Essex boys and anyone outside London, a tendency to steal from the till...!!!No, she 's a beautiful alcoholic!

Casually ventured into Absolutely on the morning of the second day of our holiday for a coffee, only to leave about six hours later...

I really can't rate this place high enough. Ben makes the most perfect cocktails - Bloody Mary and Sea Breeze really did become our "staple diet" - Kate & Nikki are the perfect hostesses. If only there was a place this chilled and friendly in Leeds......

What can I say - this bar made my holiday! Spent many a happy few hours, sipping cocktails and chatting to the very friendly staff about anything and everything. Definitely a much needed addition to the strip. If you fancy a few drinks in a chilled out atmosphere with excellent musiic or a warm up to a night out in Laganas then this is the place to be!
Highly recommend it!

We ventured into this bar late afternoon on our second day and met Kate who was so friendly and welcoming we ended up spending most evenings propping up the bar. It's a very chilled out place and they try to make you feel special, not just another customer - but then "I'm So Vain" I would think that. Ben, who works behind the bar, makes the best cocktails on the island - my wife's hangover the next day can testify to that. Kate, Nicky and Ben - thanks so much for opening a much needed quality bar in Kalamaki.

as a self confessed sports addict in the 'too hot for me' afternoons this bar was my haven! Unlike so called 'sports bars' I could hear myself think, enjoy a pint of smooth and watch the test!
It got alot more lively in the evenings, but during the day I could take my 4 year old and feel completely relaxed.

This bar is different to the others on the island, but different in a good way, chilled and relaxed; its a good way to sink a couple of amstel before the carnage of laganas!

Get there towards closing and the staff will undoubdetly carry on with you!

Kate, You still haven't told me where you got all those wicked tunes from - if there are any other muso's out there and you require a quality soundtrack to your holiday; this bar should be the main point of call

I work as a commisioning editor for the beeb, I see alot of sh*te reality tv proposals, I wish we could make a programme on this bar! Three young brits, ploughing their hopes, dreams (and cash) into this bar and moulding it out as their own!

If you want a bar that shys away from tackiness and ouzes charm and atmosphere than this is your place. Don't get me wrong, cocktails (laganas) is great and the down under is a giggle, but without the salvation of absolutely our holiday wouldn't have been the same!

If you want a place to sit back and get your self into the holiday spirit this is a must!

This is a cracking bar. The staff are fantastic, Nikki and Kate were great fun and Ben makes the best cocktails on the Island. Good music a welcome change from the cheese being played everywhere else.My friends and I enjoyed many a good night in this bar. Would highly recommend it!

It is very quiet but that is part of the attraction, its a chilled out 'trendy' type of place. We sat and a few drinks, it looks great and the service is friendly. You won't be deafened by loud karaoke or pumping house music.

I have just visited this bar. I really enjoyed myself.The atmosphere and the welcome i got was first class. I would highly recommend you visit this bar as it is banging!!!
