If in Alakanas, then you must visit this restaurant, you won't visit any better!  The whole greek ambience is genuine and wonderfully relaxing, the food is the best, fresh and tasty and homemade, the staff are the most welcoming and helpful  (and good-looking!)  You'll see lots of other restaurants having to offer cheap gimmicks and people to drag you in off the street, the Vrisaki, doesn't need to do this, when you've been once you'll definately visit again.  

Awwww i love Vrisaki went there loads of times last year and came back 5 times all together this year it always smells really nice when u walk by and as we were staying across the road from there wasnt far to walk haha !! As soon as they saw us they remembered us which was nice  

Along with Memories, this was our favourite restaurant this year.  Garlic prawn starter, Lamb au fournou (sp?), grilled prawns, meatballs and lots more.  Never a bad meal.  And the waiters are lovely.

Yet again, excellent service, wonderful food, and lovely people! This really is the best taverna in Alykanas, that is why we return again and again, the brothers are so friendly and go out of their way to please you. The food is good and the service is excellent, although i have to say not the same without Antonio and Angelo, bring them back please!

Hope to return later this year with Charlotte, so get the cheese omelettes ready George!

Fantastic Food, Really Nice Wine. Great service and a nice friendly atmosphere. This is in our opinion, the best Greek Taverna in Alykanas.

 Yet again, terrific service, and delicious food in our favourite restaurant. The whole family went out of their way to please us, and made us very welcome. Antonio is a star, the best, we love his stories! This restaurant is so much nicer than all the other big restaurants on the busy main road, it is quiet, typically Greek and has a certain ambiance which all go to make a lovely night out. Try this restaurant you will not be disappointed!

The Vrisaki was great, the food was fantastic  and great value for money - we went three times and saw many of the same people visit repeatedly - many of the greeks ate there also - souvalaki was fantastic - the loos were clean as well!! - would recommend this x 100% as true authentic restaurant

Went to Vrisaki several times in two weeks.  Have been to Greece many times but their chicken souvlaki is wonderful.  If you're hungry try their mixed souvlaki - three skewers, chicken, pork and beef served with salad, chips, pita bread and tzatziki - to die for.  Although it gets busy, the service from the waiters was excellent.  Get there early - you won't be disappointed!

Food was delicious, guys are very friendly and handsome. We will miss you already. Anthony, Angelo you have to come to us to England.

Ohmigod what an amazing restaurant!!  My family ate here virtually everynight, it could not have been better.  As a vegetarian (who doesn't eat fish) it can be difficult to find a restaurant that caters for me, but the Vrisaki excels!  I cannot choose one dish over another, but the vegetarian mousaka was delicious!  Our kids were made most welcome too.  We cannot fault any of the staff, they were friendly & helpful.

Excellent food and excellent service in this family run taverna. We have many happy memories of many happy evenings spent at the Vriasaki, the waiters Antonio and Angelo, are brilliant, they are such fun and always make time for you.

we went to alykanas for the first time. we tried vrisaki the first week and the service and food was more than fantastic! in the end we eat there 7 times during the 2 week period that we were on holiday! would definately go back there and i highly reccomend vrisaki to everybody who goes to alykanas! and as someone else said this restaurant should be 11/10! 

Come on Moderators, surely the comments on here justify more than 6/10?

Great to see Giorgio back in Alykanas, and working with brother Dimitris. It is not surprising that the food and service are so good, especially with Mama helping out in the kitchen! Have to agree with others that the Kleftiko is wonderful. And the rating should be much higher than its current 6/10.

We visited vrisaki the last three days of our holidays. The food was delicious especially lamb kleftiko. The staff was friendly and Anthony one of the waiters made our staying really enjoyable. Thanks anthony for all. We hope to see you again next year. Try vrisaki it worth to visit. 

Come on peeps.  Mind and put your rating at the bottom.  This place is sitting at a 6/10 and should be waaaaaayyyyyy higher than this!  Clearly the best food, service and Greek atmosphere in Alykanas!

Absolutely brill food and great service.  I can't really say anymore than that.  Try the Stuffed Vine Leaves, Beef Stiffado, Lamb Kleftiko etc.  Really nice place and would highly recommend this to anyone going to Alykanas.  Find Busters bar and Zanziba.  If you are coming out of Zanziba and looking straight up the street in front of you head straight up there and it's on the left on the bend.  You can't miss it.

Where is Vrisaki please -is it on road to old Alykanas?

Superb. Easily the best taverna in Alykanas. Food is beautifully cooked, service exemplary.

We have been visiting Alykanas for the last 15 years or so. A new restaurant opened this year called the Vrisaki. Without doubt the best food and ambience in Alykanas! We went back every night apart from one, when we went to the Mantelena, our old favourite! Still good but the Vrisaki takes a lot of beating!Try the grilled prawns on charcoal or the spit roast chicken. The Stifado, kleftiko etc are superb. In fact , we can't praise it enough.You may wait ten minutes longer for the food because it is so busy every night.
