Just returned from a holiday in Tsilivi with my boyfriend. Only ate in this restaurant once in the week as we like to try something different each night but certainly wish we had returned here. The most traditional greek restaurant we found, very friendly owners Artemis & Jo. The Sweet Chilli Prawns are a must !!!

Lovely place, fab location, very friendly staff, lovely food!!

Ate here 4 nights out of seven . wished we had eaten here every night!!  Excellent food and service and prices. A definite must !!! Seafood excellent and lamb . You would pay double for a meal as good as this in England

Just got back from a week in Tsilivi with my girlfriend.  I'd recommend Valentino's Castle to anyone who enjoys eating authentic Greek cuisine.  The seafood dishes are the best in the resort by far, and the restaurant has a number of daily specials - the steak with brandy was the pick for me!

The couple who have the restaurant are extremely friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming.  Well worth a visit!

Had four meals in this fantastic traditional restaurant late June 06.Everything on the plate fresh.Catch of the day always available.House wine was so good at 5 euros carafe and food was cheaper than in restaurants further towards town. Hosts are so friendly .I'd fly out if I could afford it just to dine here!!!!! 

This is arguably the best restaurant in Tsilivi. Wonderful setting and the owners are passionate about their food, especially seafood, which is always fresh. The mussels are to die for. Not the cheapest, but if you want Mcdonalds.................

Brilliant food and service.We had two meals here during our week, and will return in august.Traditional taverna ,very friendly.

The week was lovely with you both and we will be back in september to see you again before you go to Poland Joanna and have the little baby.

Hello Artemis,Jo,Valentina.Thank you very much for your hospitality.The food is to die for.We loved sea food but the best was lamb in the oven in mint sauce with potatoes.We'll be back next year.We booked hotel "Zante Star"so we are coming back!!!!!See you and good luck with your restaurant. We can only reiterate our comments when we ate here in June.  Although we only ate here once as we were staying in Amoudi, the food again was absolutely first class, along with excellent hospitality.

Our best evening in Tsilivi. Friendly, relaxed atmosphere in what we imagined a traditional taverna would be like. Excellent food freshly prepared at a very good price. Away from and far better than the bigger tourist restaurants on the main street. Highly recommended!

We came here last year and couldn't wait to get seated this year, friendly, relaxing atmosphere and great food, what more could you ask for? The muscles are highly recomended and the giant prawns are huge. The food is the most fresh on the island and you will want to go back for more! Blink and you will miss it though, it's set back off the road at the quieter end of town, a good time to be had by all. We'll be back asap!

This is definitely the best restaurant we dined in while in Tsilivi - and that's saying something, as all the meals we had in the resort were first class. The setting is soooo romantic (ask my wife!!) and the food is to die for. All this, along with terrific fresh food and great service (thanks, Joanna and Artemis) at a very good price. Go, eat, enjoy!!!

We ate here several times (all 11 of us) and found this place to be a little gem of an eatery in a lovely setting with a quiet, friendly atmosphere.  It serves traditional home cooked Greek food as well as other dishes, and locally has an excellent reputation for seafood.  We didn't try the mussels but they looked good and you seemed to get plenty, the servings of soup were massive and were served in what can only be described as washing up bowls - a main course in themsleves.

Since my latest visit to Tsilivi this restaurant has become one of my favourites. The setting is lovely and the food is to die for. The mussells are out of this world and the king prawns in sweet chilli sauce are just mouthwatering.

This restaurant is small and set back off the main road, so blink and you may miss it, but it is well worth making the effort to find it.

Yes I have to agree with most of the comments this definately is one of the best restaurants in Tsilivi. I have been to Tsilivi on many occasions and have only just discovered it and I will be visiting on my future visits. Their sardines are excellent as are their mussells.
When you look at their menu it is very limited, however they have most of their maeals on the board because they only advertise what they can produce fresh.

ABSOLUTLEY WONDERFUL. YOU'VE GOT TO GO HERE. THE ONLY MUST GO RESTAURANT IN THE RESORT. RIGHT AT THE OTHER END OF THE RESORT THOUGH,(AWAY FROM PLANOS)PAST THE SURGERY AND BEFORE YOU GET TO SANDRAS BAR. TRY THE MUSCLES!!

by far the best restaurant for food and hospitability that we had visited on the island, can instantly tell that the food was freshly cooked from scratch and not pre-prepared as with other restaurants.
the family who run the restaurant are very welcoming, helpful and go out of their way to please you.

This was the nicest restaurant on in tsilivi. you must try the muscles, the nicest i've ever had. Try the specials they have on all the time. The menu from outside look a bit dull but once your there they tell you all the specials of the day. The Greek fish was lovely, so fresh. My partner doesn't like seafood which they seemed to specialise in but he was equally happy with his meals. The lemon lamb was beautiful. its quite hard to find though, its near the 25hr surgery. Past china garden and you shoulkd see a sign for it, its down a little road.

Valantinos was like going back in time to true greece, they cooked a full chicken just for us which was served with greek potatoes,which tasted beautiful.

we have visted zante for the last 13 years and we found that we got the best value for money at valantions see you next year.

the muscles really are to die for. i don't normally eat sea food but they where fantstic. not just the muscles though, all the food was just out of this world. joanna & artemis made us feel so welcome, such a personal friendly service, we felt like royalty. we will be back as soon as we can get a flight out of here and we have only been back for 1 day, that just shows how great it was. missing the restaurant and j & a sooooooooo much already. get down there and i swear you will not be disappointed with any aspect of this great place. see you guys soon lots and lots of love fran & chris xx p.s. just in case you get lost its call valentina's castle.

a warm welcome awaits you at this truley wonderful restraunt situated just off the main road. Dine out under a star lit night, enjoy the excellent locl food and wine. We were invited to its first night this season which unfortunatley was our last night or im sure we would have been ther most evenings. I little treasure just waiting to de discovered!

Fantastic food and service, what more can you ask for.

This restaurant retains the charm of a traditional greek taverna and although tucked away from the hustle and bustle it is well worth the visit. Your Mussels are to die for, fantastic home cooked Moussaka, your beefteki's are sublime with fantastic friendly service which made us feel part of the family. We wish you every success for this year and hope to see you again in June.

Limited menu but enlivened by "specials". Excellent fish, pork ribs and roasted beef. Pleasant atmosphere, charming and attentive staff with good English.

Cocktails amazing, made to measure and to match your mood!!!!!!!!!!!! Good conversation and you could even hear yourself think, laid back with an excellent barman who even assisted the inebriates home afterwards!

Simply the best. No football. Relaxed, the perfect spot to chill out. A vast array of cocktails and a you-name-it-we-make-it policy. Customer care of the highest standard. Not so easy to find, down a lane past the Mandarin. Don't tell too many people, keep it to yourself.

Superb atmosphere and drinks courtesy of excellent host and cocktail-shaker extrordinaire, Jon. A very relaxed and friendly atmosphere with locals and tourists returning time after time. Valentinas is situated at the Planos end of Tsilivi, just past the Mandarin restuarant. Easy to miss it as it is 50m down a track off the road. This makes it a very quiet spot out of the hustle and bustle, but the atmosphere in the bar can get quite lively. Try Tuesday Grolla nights (you'll have to go to discover what Grolla is!). Drinks are reasonable and VERY generous. We loved it, went back every night and made some great friends.

This has to be the best place to eat in Tsilivi. The staff are extremely efficient and very friendly. The place has a lovely atmosphere and the prices have to be seen to be believed. We had 2 starters, 2 main courses, 2 desserts, 2 bottles of Sprite and a bottle of wine and the bill came to £18. This place has some of the nicest food I have ever had the pleasure to eat, and if you go back a second time, they will start to give you free Metaxa 7 star (the good stuff) for free. We went there four times, and you have to try the Meze as a starter - I guarentee you will love it.

OK, but nothing special. Fiorentinos across the road is far superior.
