LA BELLA NAPOLI IS THE MOST INCREDIBLE AND BEAUTIFUL RESTAURANT IN ZAKYNTHOS.I STAYED FOR 2 WEEKS AND I DID NOT CHANGE IT.THE FOOD WAS NOT ONLY TASTEFUL BUT ALSO WITH A GREAT QUANTITY.I RECCOMEND YOU TO TRY FUSSILI MAFIOSA, 4 FORMAGGI AND FARFALLE SALMONE WITH A PINOT GRICIO OR LAMBRUSCO.THE SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT, THEY WERE FRIENDLY, KINDFUL AND SOCIABLE( THERE WERE 3 WAITERS:SUNDAY,SOUZAN AND SAKIS).IF SUNDAY(THE NAME OF THE OWNER) AND HER HUSBAND, FABIO, READ IT, I WOULD LIKE TO TELL THEM THAT I WILL BE BACK IN SEPTEMPER . We have just returned from zakynthos and this is still the best place to eat on the island. This will be are 8^th year going and nothing has come close, especially the Pizzas, To all that know them; Sandy, Fabio and their beautiful baby boy Ellessio (excuse spelling) are fine and well, We will be returning next year.

Absolutely the best restaurant i have ever been to.Food is amazing!The best Italian i had,try everything!The place is by far the most elegant,with a first class service.Highly recommended.

The best restaurant on the island.Excellent food,hi-level service with reasonable prices.Try the "avocado al forno" and the home made tortelloni with a bottle of Chardonnay.Don't miss it!

Good food,one of the only places not touting for customers outside,I would recommend this place.The lasagne is very good,Fillet steak in white wine sauce was also very good.Staff are very friendly and great atmosphere.

Just got back from Laganas and, again, after trying various other restaurants including Romios and the Akropolis have to say without a shadow of a doubt that this is THE BEST restaurant on the island.

My wife and I are big Italian food fans and have yet to find a place of this quality anywhere that we've been. Sunday (that's what the owners name tranlates as into English) and her husband work very hard to bring a totally professional and delicious dining experience to all their customers and Sunday never forgets a face. I cannot say one bad word about this place except it should be open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and in North East Lancashire.

This is the one true restaurant that my wife and I will miss until we return to Laganas in the future.

I know that it is now coming to the end of the season but if anyone out is going there soon and wants a delicious and reasonably priced Italian meal then do come here. The staff are great, the food is great and the prices are reasonable. I recommend any of the pizza or calzones or if you want to spend just that little bit more go for the 'Fillet Al Pepe' - a fillet of beef in a creamy peppercorn and Chianti sauce. Yummy. My wife recommends the duck in orange.

La Bella Napoli is just on one of the roads at the Cosy Corner cross-ways. Looking out from Cosy Corner go up the street where the gift shop is on the right and it's about 50-100m on the left hand side.

I agree with Tony. Peter must have been mistaken. Me and my wife are going back to Zante on 12th September (me for the third time and my wife for the second) and I can tell you that this is the one restaurant I'm dying to dine at again. I've never experienced Italian food as good as this place, or service as good.

We'll be in there more or less every night!

Peter you must have mistaken the pricing to fast food places. This is the best italian food I have ever tasted. The service is excellent and done with good manners. It is very reasonable .

Some people have no taste! THIS IS THE BEST RESTAURANT IN LAGANAS. If you want bangers and mash with real bisto gravey go else where .

We tried this based on the rating and were disapointed. The food was very average, the service was poor and the price expensive in comparison to other restaurants in Laganas. Go elsewhere.

This is the best restaurant in Laganas. Excellent food, the pasta dishes, pizza and starters. The fragolino wine both white and red is tremendous. We ate here all the time. Looking forward to next year. the staff are excellent. Sandi and her husband run a great place.

Food here is fantastic - Pizza's are great and the fondue starter with some garlic bread is delicious - service is excellent and everything is so clean and sparkling

Forgot to mention this little funny. The Police station is not very far away and one night we saw a cop car pull up outside and they went into the little place next door. Oh dear we thought a bit of bother but no, a few minutes later they emerged with an armfull of pizza boxes from the takeaway section of La Bella. If the Police eat somewhere you just know it`s got to be good.

My partner and I went to Zante on 13th May for 3 weeks. We ate in La Bella Napoli 5 times. We both agreed it was the best restaurant we had been to in Laganas. The staff are very friendly and the food is delicious. The pizza is the best I have ever tasted and I would certainly go back. If you like Italian food you will love La Bella Napoli!!!!!!!

Just got back from Laganas (I want to go back now) and we chanced upon La Bella by accident when we heard some live music down a side street just off the main drag. This was of course coming from Strings Bar just opposite. Looking at some of the previous comments it has obviously been there for quite a few years but we thought it was brand new. It must have had a makeover this year. The clay oven is the first thing which attracts your attention. It`s wood fired (probably olive wood) and lends itself to the most exciting culinary experience. So authentic, this beast of an oven can cook most dishes in a very short time due to the fact that all the ingredients are freshly prepared right in front of you. Definately the best restaurant we tried during a two week stay. We just kept on going back towards the end as nothing else compaired. Tip!! If your looking for work there was a sign up saying staff required. 16th - 30th may. One last thought is that it`s not one of those places which opens all day doing "English Breakfast" all day long etc. It doesn`t open until 6.00 PM and only serves the best Italian food outside of Italy I suppose.

Well located, just off the main drag,this was the best restaurant visited during our 2 week stay - we went back twice.
If you like pizzas, try the pizza pinocchio - fantastic !!!

I ate at this restuarant with friends twice. The service and food were both excellent. Freshly made pasta and pizza dishes are complimented by a supurb house wine. The service is good with a real italian feeling about the place.

If you love Italian food you will love it here. Unlike a lot of restaurants that had most things on the menu, they did really only cater for Italian food.
Fabulous pizzas and pasta and lovely atmosphere.
Well worth a visit!!

Ate here twice, ricotta and spinach stuffed mushrooms for starter were divine, so was pasta mains and pizza which you could watch being cooked.

hello!My sister and I did monday come back,and in the seven times we went out to eat at Zakynthos we ate 2 times at Bella Napoli.The pasta and pizzas were very good,and we liked seeing the pizzas maked in front of our noses. I think I don't come back to this Island for the next 5 years but if I do later, the first place where I'll go and be sure getting some good food, it's Bella Napoli.(and I liked the pizzamaker, andreas isn't it?)

i persoanlly went ther 5 times in two weeks and it got better and better. waitresses were class, very lovely people no service charge and fabulous prices. leave a tip its worth it, fast service but fresh food. i would gladly eat here for the rest of my life.go there or be silly

Everytime we have been to laganas which is five times we always go to bella napoli it has the best food on the island and nowhere else in the world does pizzas as good as here they just melt in your mouth. The pasta dishes are very good here aswell. The place is always busy,clean. The staff bend over backwards to help you. My husband and i highly recommend going.

The best pizza's I have ever had and the wine is excellent aswell! Would recommend this restaurant to everyone visiting Laganas.

DEspite the rave reviews, the place was virtually empty every night of our two-week holiday so we didnt go in. What has gone wrong?

this is a superb restaurant , better than any other in the resort and as good as sicilly. cheap too , great selection of italian wine motepucciano dabbruzo 12 euro. ate there 3 times in one week and sorry we didn't find it earlier in the holiday. other restaurants are cheaper but the food is very poor. much better standard of food on other greek islands.

Just want to say thanks for all the great comments about this restaurant. I was the only english waiter there during 2002 and actually do remember some of you. The waitress you all keep mentioning is called Sandy (English name) and is the joint owner with her husband Fabio (the Italian who made all the pizzas. I also gave out quite a few of the discount cards mentioned. If you go along in 2003 just say Mike said Hi. Cheers & thanx again.

Lovely authentic Italian food. Very reasonably priced. What a memory the waitress has, she doesn't write anything down, but your order is never wrong. The first time we visited Laganas, we ate here 3 times in two weeks. We went back later that year for a week and ate here twice, The food is amazing. I particularly like the pizzas (Hawailan) you can watch them getting made. Brillant.

What can I say that hasn't already been said. It's definitely the best restaurant on the island. I first discovered this restaurant at the end of my first holiday to Zante in 1999. Me and my fiance went there in September 2002 and ate there 4 times in a week. The staff were friendly, the food was always excellent and the atmosphere was wonderful.

AB FAB!!! THE BEST FOOD ON THE ISLAND, THE WAITRESSES ARE REALLY FRIENDLY AND ARE SO WELCOMING. EAT THE MUSHROOMS AND THE CARBONARA, THEY ARE EXCELLENT. VERY REASONBLY PRICED FOR TWO OF US WE USUALLY HAD A STARTER EACH, A MAIN COURSE EACH AND 2 LOTS OF GARLIC BREAD ONE WITH THE STARTER AND THEN ONE WITH THE MAIN AND A COUPLE OF DRINKS EACH AND THE COST AVERAGED 34 EUROS

We stayed in Kalamaki for two weeks, discovered this place at the end of the first week, and travelled over 5 times in all. Excellent Italian food, and a very good price. Tried both Pasta dishes and Pizza, enjoyed it all. Shame we werent there long enough to try the whole menu!

We went here once and the food was the best Italian in Laganas. You have to try the pizza and Garlic Mushrooms.

we went three times in two weeks. the only restuarant we went back to where everyone enjoyed their meals. all food was cooked to perfection. i know that you must be careful when eating snails, especially when abroad but, these were among the best i have ever tasted. even my wife, who is particularly fussy (b***h) enjoyed her meals.

Went there twice. Food and wine impeccable both times, unfortunately very poor service on the second occasion. Understaffed, but worth it if you are patient.

By far the best restaurant in Lagana, we ate there 3 times in 2 weeks. Fantastic vegetarian choice and equally good service - the waitress remembers your order without writing it down and it was never wrong. Look out for the guys trying to attract you to the restaurant outside - they'll give you a 10 percent off voucher!

we really enjoyed the food at this restaurant so we returned another night. the staff were really friendly and food was served fairly quickly. we shared a starter, i had pasta and my husband had a pizza plus a litre of house red wine all for about £15, including tip.

I ate pizza at this restaurant three times during one week and loved it! I prefer the real Italian pizza, and that's what you got at this wonderful restaurant. The staff was nice, but with my weak currency (Swedish krona) everything is quite expensive outside Sweden. This restaurant wasn't very expensive compared to other restaurants in Laganas, though it looked quite exclusive. IT IS A MUST!

Only discovered this towards the end of our holiday. We had pasta and the calzone pizza brill. Good value as well. The mushroom starter is also excellent. A MUST VISIT.

best restaurant on in the resort we always had pizzas and pasta really nice cooked food and pizzas were cooked in an wood stoked oven never had a bad meal here great here if you like italian as some of the pasta is homemade and my partner is an expert on pizzas so they must be good

We loved this place. Everything we had tasted gorgeous. The pizzas are freshly cooked in a big traditional oven oustide amongst the tables & there is a fantastic choice of all things Italian(even for veggies who will be spoilt for choice). Very laid-back place.

Best pizza on the island defintely. Freshly made in the restaurant to suit you. Brilliant price aswell.
