The best coffees outside Montreal. I have never had one like it. Stylish owner, with excellent choice in music. I didn't socialize at Yria for hunks and babes, so no comments, although the owner isn't tooo hard on the eyes. I recommend to anyone who vists Zakinthos, that they take a trip to yria for either a beverage or a lightmeal. the crepes are fantastic also..............:)

Ah yes,3D. As fine a cocktail as you will find anywhere on the island! BUT, if you fancy something REALLY different, you should try a "John Smith's" Cocktail. I guarantee that you won't find anywhere else on Zakynthos that serves it...!

Having just returned from Alykes we feel duty bound to say how much we enjoyed Yria Bar. Vasillis is the perfect host and now he is joined by his lovely assistant Cat! The atmosphere is relaxing although if you feel like staying late, the music tends to get louder. Remember to ask for Vasillis's new cocktail - 3D it's his speciality. Thoroughly enjoyable and an excellent place to spend an evening.

Have to add another comment after our recent second visit to Alykes. Yria is brilliant! Watch out Vassilis, we're definitely coming back later this year!!!

Well, it would be difficult to say anything bad about Yria Cafe (especially as I'm sitting in the bar at the moment!). Out of all the bars that we've visited on our 4 trips fo Alykes, Yria is the best. Very friendly atmosphere, great cocktails, Mythos on draught, good food - something for everyone. Vassilis is a good bloke too (but don't tell him that I said that!). One of the best things about Yria, is the fact that it isn't trying to compete with any of the other bars, unlike a few that I could mention. Next time you're in Alykes, pay a visit to Yria Cafe & you will see what I mean.

This place just keeps drawing you back to Alikes.Have been going to see Vassilis and his family since he opened in '98.Vassilis Mum and Dad are so friendly and make you feel very welcome.You won't find a cleaner bar on the island and the rooms above the bar are of the same standard.Met some great people there who we've kept in touch with.Vassilis is a great guy with a cracking sense of humour - His head will be swelling if he reads this so i'll finish off by saying he has got something wrong.....his taste in cars!

Excellent bar and hospitality second to none! Excellent music and food. Internet access is cheap and easy. Sometimes difficult to get back to the apartment after an evening with Vasillis but that is the only complaint (?)

VISITED THE BAR QUITE A FEW TIMES OVER THE LAST 3 YEARS VASSILLIS THE OWNER IS A TOP BLOKE WIDE VARIETY OF MUSIC ASKED FOR STONE ROSES/MONDAYS AND HE HAD SOME ,HE DOES HAVE EXCELLENT ROOMS ABOVE THE BAR WE HAVE BOOKED THEM FOR AUG,THE BAR AND THE ROOMS ARE SPOTLESS.

Head and shoulders above the rest. Classy design, spotlessly clean, warm and friendly bar staff, unrivalled customer service, excellent musical taste, ... and the best cocktails on the island.

I must agree with jim we have visited the bar many mant times and the breakfast by paul is out of this world looking forward to our first meal In Alykes where else but here! jane mark walden

Been to Yria everyday for the best breakfast you'll find in the whole of Zante, Trust me just ask for paul's special, The bar is idealy located on the road just away from the hussle of the main town. And what can i say Vassili the owner what a Star!!!! Trust me this bar will be hard beaten in the whole of the island!!!!

excellent bar for couples ,singles,or families alike.we felt so comfortable we spent 14 nights in there,entertained by Vassilis music and conversation.Food and cleanliness is absolutely 'spot on'.The apartments for rent above the bar are of an equally high standard.

the yria was the most welcoming place we visited during our holiday, and vasili (the owner) and his family were lovely and extremely kind people. the cleanliness of the bar and toilets was excellent. if anyone is looking for a good english breakfast, then this is the place for you!!!

I remember when this first opened and have visited each time we have been to Zakynthos. Really nice and really really clean- toilets are a pleasure to visit- I think someone goes in to clean between each person! Lovely cocktails and the best Margueritas I have tasted.

the best bar in alykes,have been 5 times in 3 years holidaying in alykes,the owner vassilis is a great lad,relaxing atmosphere,great conversation,great food and drink,not for ravers but good choice of music and very,very friendly.the bar is spotless.
