I went with my boyfriend but me and him had a right laugh and meet loads of people out there!!!! Ladies and Gentleman of the forum, it gives me great regret to report that the legend known as 'Fancy Pants' has left the island! Its come as a terrible shock to us all here at plus soda to see such a great figure leave. Karaoke will never be the same again. Hope to see you next year with your crazy posse who's name i cant remember. Big shout especially to the bearded German guy who broke the world time record for snogging  a bird on a dancefloor.....I think he was engaged in that snog for 3-4 hours! Top man!

Richie Rich, what a ledge!!! The number of times he played Summer of 69 for us, he must have got fed up with it!! Loved all the barmaids, Stacey, Paula, Gemma and Sarah (most gorgeous girls you'll ever meet!). Cant wait to get back out there next week and party every night for 6 weeks with all of them. I'm sure me and Rich will be going through our Peter Kay reportoire!!

Just got back from Kalamaki on the 4th, and how boring is the UK! Am lovin the pic of the girlies Rich, your karaoke will never be the same without the scottmeister layin down some Tom Jones and Spandau Ballet!
If your headin to Kalamaki, definitely warm yourself up for a big night in plus, or stay there "All Night Long" with top tunes from Richie Rich, and awesome drinks from Yan the man, you can't really go wrong! Me and the Essex Boyz spent many a night with the red and blue books, and all agreed that plus soda had a much better atmos than anywhere in Laganas! We're hoping to come back next year and you'll definitely see us in plus more often than we should be!

And tell Paula that i'll make her that squashed frog next year

thanks for the great time we had in plus soda every night of our weeks holiday especially the day when england played ecuador and everyone started drinking so early and celebrating into the morning, i can't believe we stayed out until 5.30am at our age. i also really enjoyed the night our crowd were all up singing karaoke but must apologise for holly, lucy & haleys version of the spice girls that wasn't singing but shouting. wish nick & lucy 'good luck' with their wedding & new life in oz i can't imagine not seeing him when we visit kalamaki again, and a big hug to yiannis the fantastic barman who makes us feel so welcome i hope he will still be there next year when we visit again.

me and my girlfriend have just returned from kalamaki. it was our first visit to zante and most definately wont be our last! plus soda was easily the best place to go in terms of bars. always a brilliant night. great quiz nights and the hypnotist was hillarious. best of all the staff were great and always up for a laugh  

Had some very good nights in Plus Soda, Staff very friendly, it's the place to be. Met a lot of people and never a complaint. Will be back in future.

Hi, Just returned from Zante(Kalamaki) at the end of May. Would like to thank Dan the DJ for giving us the opportunity to have our 1st slow dance in the best nite spot on the strip. Lots of entertainment going on in this bar before everyone moves in to the club itself. Great place for families to go and have a nice entertaining evening....must say though the snowball questions for the quiz nights are a bit suspect lol.

Hey Jean well we love Mermaids food, presentation and above all the friendliness of the staff so we always eat there.. Some may find it sad or whatever but we tend not to try other places, because Mermaids is so fantastic.. so we tend to stick to the one place, as we know exactly what we are getting, and its great food..

Hello, Nick wasnt working at Plus Soda this year when I went in May.. he popped in a few times though.. His gf or Fiancee should I say is still working at the Appollon bar.. But Nick is still working in the day times at a pool bar in Tsilivi.. hope this helps

We got back from Kalamaki early yesterday morning after a week and we spent every breakfast, tea and night in Mermaids and Plus Soda - we were the couple who were always there (girl with long blonde hair and lad with short blonde hair).

Plus Soda (part of the Mermaids Restaurant) is by far the best bar in Kalamaki. The bar staff were so friendly and we ended up being the last customers some nights and even played pool with some of the locals. We were welcomed every night and given free shots with most of our drinks. The DJ (Dan) did a good quiz most nights, which most people joined in with, and funny pub games. Thanks to Yiannis (spelling?!!), the cocktail bar man, for the free pool tokens, shots and drinks, despite wetting us with ice cubes and a water gun! The barmaids (Paula, Stacey and the other who we didn't know the name of!) were lovely and really friendly.

Also, thanks to the boss Con who made us feel very welcome in both Mermaids and Plus Soda, and for the free bottle of champagne!

We hope to see you all again in September, fingers crossed

Wow, spent much longer than I should have here but it was worth it.  The DJ was amazing, the staff were friendly, and the atmos unique (in a very good way).

I went to Kalamaki in May/June 05 with my sister it was the best holiday I have ever been on. We were in Plus Soda every night. We loved it that much we didnt want to go home. Nick, Yiannis, Ginge, Con and the rest of the staff there made our Holiday a very memerable one thankyou  love you all!!!

Loved Plus Soda, great music, great atmosphere & great drinks - cocktails with wonderfully weird names! We had many a great night out in this place. We couldn´t keep away! I wear my t-shirt with pride!

This place made the holiday the best one for like ever! Thanks you guys. We´ll definitely be back ... one day!

Despite being in Kalamaki at the end of the season, the evenings spent in Plus Soda were top. Cocktails were the best, and helped me sleep at night after the earthquake!! Staff at Plus Soda were excellent, polite and funny, but please remember Nick, no-ones dad is Santa!!  Hi all in plus soda from all the irish girls we had a ball while we were there in plus soda the staff were brill and so was the D.J GINGE he played a load of music from ireland for us and we danced the night away so anyone going to Zante for holidays go to Plus Soda for a great night out and great Drinks/Cocktals/And/Shots

Ginge check the Plus site pics for one of the rest of us from that night our at about 830 am!

I agree with Amy, did chris put the worst pictures of me on the site, not doing my image any good, so here is a better one.

cheers chris - i have been emailing mermaids direct and since found that out dont think i even met him unless i saw him but never realised who he was!!! does anyone have a photo of him?? anyway chris when is your next visit there - i loved it there and wanna go back whenever i get the chance and want to move there one day. was offered a job while i was out there for next year but seeing as i have a daughter dunno where i stand would be happy to take her with me just would need childcare while i worked thats all and dunno how to go about getting accomodation!!!
