We stayed in a two bed apt which was very roomy although only balconies off the bedroom rather than the living area. cleanliness excellent, they were cleaned every day and we had clean linen about 6 times during our two week stay. Only grumble was the safety of the pool, there were quite a lot of sharp tile edges and several kids cut their feet whilst we were there. But location was great and we found Argassi a great resort
Just to let you know that the fridges in the room will cost you 20euros a week and the air con is 35euros! hope that is some help! :)

Hi ! We will be staying in a studio at the Diana Palace In Argassi in June 2003. Could anyone who has stayed there please tell us if all the studios have balcony's , and are there any studios with a pool view . I have a slight disability and both of these things would be beneficial.
Many thanks
Deb and Von.
Stayed in August 2002, lovely hotel to stay in, coming again in the future with my family

Hi Adele, Glad to see you found the site have lost your e-mail address, if you have mine e-mail me, speak soon hope everyonesok.
I have just got back yesterday from the hotel. The pool is lovely and the location is excellent, as soon as you walk out everyting is there, do not eat at TIFFANYS i ate there on the last night and was very ill!! The hotel Itself was not very good on entertainment for the kids. Its more of an adult place. If michelle reads this give me an email!

We have just arrived home from staying at the Diana Palace hotel and thought it was excellent! The maid service was really reliable and we had clean towels and sheets every two days! The room we had was basic but did its job and because we were staying B and B the fridge was an additional cost which was well worth it for us as coming home to ice cold water was a god send! The bathrom was quite clean although we had problems with the shower flooding the whole of the bathroom floor due to a short shower curtain. The pool was huge and really clean the pool side bar served really nice food and we actually thought breakfast was pretty decent for what you got we lived on chocolate cake and croissants for breakfast although there was a wide selction of stuff from bread and jam to fruit and yoghurt to cereal and also boiled eggs etc... we didnt venture that far!!!!!! Overall we had a fab time staff were excellent and spoke really good english and check out the pool side bar man who did the cocktails he is soooo fit!!!!
Good clean hotel with the usual Greek rough edges. Make sure though that you report any already broken/damaged items in the room when you arrive or they will charge you for them when you leave. Great english breakfasts, great waiter, Stavi. Say hi to him from me. Pool always clean
Hi we are staying at diana palace from 5th sept-12th and were wondering whether the rooms have safety deposit boxes and if so how much they are per week. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
I would like to hear from anybody who is goin to the Diana Palace Hotel on the 17th October ! I am 16 yrs old, my name is Beth and i am hoping to make sum frends before i get there!
Just returned from a family holiday self-catering with two year old twins and 10 year old granddaughter in August 2002 at the Diana Palace. The rooms were very clean and the air-conditioning was well worth the 30 euros. Unfortunately the twins were too young to use the children's club and the childrens's pool too deep for them to sit in. Took them to the Fun Factory/Reptile House two afternoons to keep them amused. Great value but take advantage of the free transport there as it is up a very very steep hill - not easy with a double buggy with a wheel missing thanks to baggage control! Kiddycarts also a big hit with children over 3. Excellent supermarket across the road which stocked everything you could need and plenty of bars/ restaurants nearby to choose from. The Poseidon did an excellent fillet steak! Only negative point was the management's obsession on removing towels from sunbeds unless you guarded them! This game fortunately only started a couple of days before we were coming home. Would definately like to visit again when twins are older.
Nice hotel, exellent staff, nice pool area, but smallish rooms, esp' if more than two bodys,...night time outside is very busy, and a little noisy at the front,..beach is not to far but hardly a beach, you need to go out of the area for a proper beach, with sand and room to spread out, best to hire a car,...'main street' at night is a bit 'Blackpoolish', watch out for scooters !,....
Great place, really central. We had a fabulous room, no noise at all. Highly recomended.
Amy - Argasi is a fairly small though lively resort, so a short walk on your first night will take you past all the bars and clubs so you can assess the music. Good Luck
I am visiting Argassi in zante on 28th july 4 2 weeks. do u think u could recomend some good bars/clubs with up 2 date music etc and lively? Amy
just returned from 2 weeks in the diana palace, with our 8 yr old daughter who loved it ,good kids club, very nice staff, and very clean & well maintained, would def,o return there.
We are going to argassi september 19 2001 for 2 weeks with our 2 children 5 and 7,staying at diana palace hotel.Has anyone been there at that time of year,if so are all the shops, trips ect still going strong?what about the weather, still hot?.our first time to zante not sure what to expect!
great because it was right outside the factory. great for teenagers
We went in June with our two girls, 6 & 8. The hotel staff were very friendly, and the rooms were cleaned daily. Superb weather and pool facilities - Have to get up early to get a sunbed though !! Good childrens club. I would recommend Diana Palace for a good relaxing holiday, with lots of pubs and restaurants nearby.
We went to Diana Palace in May with a 7 year old. Room over noisy bar with the speakers on our balcony. Louder in our room than in bar. Hotel staff extemely unhelpful and very awkward when we wanted to move. Would suit teenagers. Sunbed terraces very overcrowded. Moved to Ionian Hill Hotel. Excellent staff, guests and accommodation.
Went to Diana Palace a couple of years ago - it was a lovely place to stay in.

Grounds: Large pool set in good-sized area with plenty of sunbeds. Lots of flowers including pretty border along one side of pool. Opinion: Pleasing, stylish package in good location with impressive range of facilities.
Diana Palace is in the centre of Argassi directly opposite the Pyramid Bar so volume can be a problem approx eight to midnight. Very short walk to the beach but Argassi is definately not one of the better beaches on the island (Kalamaki is safer for small children). Seems to be lots going on for kids at Diana Palace plus lovely pool area (although can get busy).
how far is it from the beach.....and what are the facillities available for children ....thankyou
