I have been to Tsilivi three times in the past three years and I could not compare Tsilivi to Blackpool. I am an 18 year old girl who loves to travel and relax whilst on Holiday, as well as having fun, and Tsilivi is the best place I have ever been to on holiday by far. Many people holiday in Tsilivi and return year after year (like myself and my family) and I find it such ashame when its compared to blackpool. For starters Tsilivi is not dirty and smelly, there is only one night club so not too much noise is made and what noise there is will be people having FUN on their holiday and having a laugh with the friendly people of Tsilivi. After all you make your holiday what you want it to be and I would defo reccomend Tsilivi to everyone.
Popeyes is one of the best restaurants in Tsilivi. The food is fab and the staff are great. The service is quick and efficiant and comes well presented, not to mention tastes great!! The staff are bril with children and always give free gifts to them such as t-shirts, mugs, keyrings etc.. I would definatly reccomend Popeyes if travelling to Tsilivi. What I just cant understand though is why people return for a second or third meal if they didnt like the service?? Mmm something must have been good to return, eh??
well what can i say, apart from the fact that we have just got back from the best holiday ever at the admirals - despite the fact that i broke my wrist 4 days prior to flying out there.
could not fault the entertainment staff, bar staff, chef, cleaners etc one bit. everything was 'spot on'. George, daniel, darren and chef - you were one of the most genuine and kind guys we have ever met. The rooms were spotless and cleaned every day. never known a hotel to offer clean towels and bedding as often as this hotel did.
I made an excellent friend at the hotel - georgia from the snack bar. if you are reading this georgia, take good care of denis and costas and i promise to write very soon. Also thank you for the prezzie you bought for me on our last day, it was so kind of you.
chef - a big hug from all of us here, and vicky sends her love.
lastly but not least, i would like to make a comment about george, and that is he is one of the most genuine guys we have ever encountered. always helpful, always full of fun. He's one of these guys who doesn't need to put on an act to make people laugh - he's a natural at his job. george, if you you are reading this, we certainly hope that you will be there next year, especially because we missed out on a lot of the fun this year because of my painful wrist being in plaster.
Darren, you are a great guy too. Very funny and entertaining.
Daniel, you are just so sweet, and you look more greek than the greeks do. LOL. Enjoy your work abroad whilst you are still young, and live life to the full. You are a star.
Hope to see you all next year.
Love Helena, Gary, Vicky, Dominic and Simon.
we have been to tsilivi 4 times over the past 5 years, and ate at this restaurant for the first time last week. We didn't realise what we were missing - the food and service was absolutely 'spot on'. i had the 'mother's pork', which was 2 huge pieces of pork with melted cheese underneath it, served with onions, chips, rice and garden veg. It was absolutely gorgeous. We are just sad that we didn't go to this place during our other visits to Tsilivi. Will deffo be back.
had yet again another fabulous meal at manos grill. The beef stiffado was out of this world. very nicely presented, and excellent service - all presented in a warm and cosy setting. Hi to manos, maria and staff.
frequented pierro's again over the course of our 2 weeks stay in tsiliv. The food just gets better every year.Waiters were so friendly and loved kids, and the service was really good. 10/10 for the chef and staff.
being very good friends of denis and nikki(owners of popeyes) for many years i am not being biased in saying that this place is one of the best in Tsilivi. We have never had a bad meal. The service is good and the staff are great with the kids. It's not very often that you see the owners of restaurants actually working to ensure that customers recieve excellent service and food, but dennis does, and he works extremely hard. Dennis, if you are reading this, give our love to Nikki and hope that it's not too long now before she has the baby. Will look forward to seeing you both and the ''little one'' next year.
Love Helena, Gary, Vicky, Dominic and Simon.
great restaurant. The service and food were excellent. The staff were very friendly, especially the young Indian guy on the door who actually thought i was Greek. LOL. If you are reading this - 'kalispera, te Kanete? cala?
a very enjoyable meal had by all, we will definitely be returning.
we have been to calypso many times over the years and could never fault the food. it's probably one of the cheapest places in tsilivi. We went there again last week, and found the steak as delicious as ever, but found the chips to be a bit under cooked and white too. Everything else was great and we wouldn't let this put us off going in the future. Overall, fab service, great value for money, and the food was very well presented.
had yet another couple of great meals here over the last 2 weeks. tried both indian and chinese and couldn't fault either. Nor could we fault the service and value for money. Even the kids were adventurous and sampled the dishes, to which were both impressed.
we have just returned from our 4th visit to Tsilivi. We didn't actually stay at the planos bay. We stayed at the admirals across the road, but we frequented the bar at the planos in the evenings because our friends yannis and thespina were running the bar this season. What can we say Yannis, Thespina, apart from the fact that we had such an amazing time over the past 2 weeks. We will never forget the evening of the 7th september, it was very entertaining to say the least. All i can say is 'going so soon? Why the party is just begining' LOL.
Anybody going to the planos bay in the future, all we can say is that you will have an excellent time. Lovely and clean, excellent pool, great entertainment for adults and kids. Charlie one of the entertainers is a sweet girl, and very friendly.
we hope to return next year.
i am trying to find the address for popeyes in Tsilivi, as i would like to send Denis and Nikki a card to congratulate them on the birth of their neww baby boy.
thanks
we were well impressed with Thomas cook holidays. We flew out to Zante on 9th September and stayed 14 nights at the tsilivi admirals. Unfortunately i fractured my wrist 4 days prior to departure from manchester, and had to have emergency surgery. After being given the all clear by my surgeon to fly, i had to contact thomas cook to check that there would be no problems at the the check in desk at the airport. When we checked in at Manchester, we were told that our seats had been reserved for us on the plane, with no extra cost incured. We had front seats with loads of leg room, which i thought was a very kind gesture.
The hotel we stayed in was absolutely spot on, and the thomas cook reps did all they could to make sure everybody had a wonderful time. They also worked very hard at the airport to ensure that we all got through as quickly as possible. We would definitely book with thomas cook again.
Hi Lesley,
We were at the admirals at the begining of September - it was our 4th visit to Tsilivi, and the second time we have stayed at the admirals. You have definitely chosen the ideal hotel, especially if you have kids too. It is in a good location, has 2 lovely clean pools and the staff are so nice and friendly. The rooms are cleaned every day and supplies of fresh clean bedding and towels are ample. The entertainment staff are wonderful and will go out of their way to ensure you all have a fabulous time. The kids will love it. They also have a kids club too, so your children will be entertained for 3 hours each day if you wish. They also have various activities taking place in the pool - water volley ball and such, which both kids and adults can take part. In the evening (from around 6pm) they show films for the kids, which is ideal for you, if you are wanting to get showered and ready to go out for the evening. The kids will be able to sit in the lounge and watch the film. They also have various activities and entertainment going on throughout the evening, all for adults and kids alike. All the daily activities are posted on the message board which is situated by the front door to the hotel in the reception area. I would highly recommend this hotel to families with children. It is second to none. We will definitely be going back to Tsilivi again, and will definitely be staying at the admirals. We wouldn't want to stay anywhere else now, as we have had 2 excellent holidays here and the place just gets better each time - especially because the staff never foget you. We have made some great friends there - cheff Nicos, Georgia from the breakfast bar, and all the entertainments staff. I don't know whether you have been to Tsilivi before, but it is one of those places that draws people back year after year. I'm ashamed to admit that i actually cried when we left this year. I hope that you all have a wonderful time there, but i'm sure that you will anyway.
Take care.
To Steve Vincent,
I absolutely agree with your comments about daisy studio's. I was begining to think that it was only myself who found the family to be rude. We were there back in 2000, so obviously nothing has changed. We found the rooms to be very poorly maintained, but from what i can gather there has been an improvement on that score. As for the cleanliness of the place, i have to agree that they were very clean. The only gripe i had was with the broken locks and patio and also the attitude of the owners - mainly the old geezer and the daughter. various people have mentioned to me that a so called 'smile and friendliness'' towards the owners goes a long way. The only thing i would say to this is that, i have been to Tsilivi 4 times over the past 4 years and have never experienced any problems with any other Greek people, both before and after our experience with the daisy folk. I think that definitely says something. I do always make a point of being friendly with people and above all i respect the fact that i am in their country. What i am NOT however, is anybody's fool, and i cannot abide devious folk who hide behind a friendly smile. Stealing tips that have been left for the maids is the pits. Those owners must make a fortune, and those maids get a pittance of a wage - probably out earning in order to feed their kids. It stinks.
Steve - i loved your comment about grandpa's cattarh moving exercises. I think the reason why the old geezer and daughter didn't like me was because i had them sussed after the first day. Like i said i am nobody's fool, and you don't sound like you are either.
We will be returning to Tsilivi again because we love the place, but we will continue to give the daisy a wide berth. The admirals hotel here we come.
Hi Paul, thanks for that. Much appreciated.
Hi Toni. I have been to Tsilivi 3 times and Im a 19 year old girl. I love the place and cant wait to go again, am tring to persuade my boyfriend to come with me this time!! you say you want a child free place, well Tsilivi is for families and couples, however, most of the children are tucked away in bed come 11 when your half way to being drunk!! I would reccomend Tsilivi to you and your partner although the Zante Maris I have not stayed at. if its the one on the beach I have seen it and it is beautiful! If you go to Tsilivi, try and visit the planos area, here there are more bars then down in the main part of Tsilivi, where the restaurants tend to be situated. Over all, Tsilivi is the best place to holiday by far, give it a try, you never know!! I hope this helps!!
Oopps, Im under my mums name below! Im Vicky, Helenas my mum, she'll be chuffed if people think shes 19!!
Hi Martin,
Yannis and Thespina did tell us that they would not be returning to the Planos this year, and talked about the possibility of running the pool bar again at the Zante palace (The place you can see in the hillside when standing on the beach). The zante palace did close last season, but there were talks of another tour operator taking it over. If this materializes, then Yannis and crew are hoping to be there. I will be phoning Thespina very soon. In the meantime, if you would like me to give you Yannis e-mail address, just send a post on here, and i will root it out and give it to you. Hope this has been some help to you. Take care.
Eileen, Yea that sounds very much like George - looking after everyone. That guy survives on a minimum amount of sleep, to make sure everybody is looked after. He is a 100% committed to that job. I honestly don't know how he does it. I'm glad to hear that he is going to be there again this year. If you are reading this George, keep up the good work, and get those bottles chilled for 22nd May, because fingers crossed, we are on our way, and this time George, without the plaster cast LOL
Luv and stuff, Helena, Gary, Dominic and Simon.
Hi to all those enquiring about Yannis and Thespina.
I have had an email from them saying that they are in the process of opening their own bar in Tsilivi. It is going to be called FRIENDS, and it is situated next door to the Mc Donalds.
Helena
Hi Vicky,
If you come out of the admirals and get onto the main road and turn right, you will come to bukka beach in a matter of 5 minutes. This part of the beach is quite narrow, very quiet too, but is still very good for bathing. You can actually follow the coast line to the right and it will bring you to wider parts of the beach with plenty of sand, so if you have kids, this is ideal. Alternatively, you could come out of the hotel and head for the centre of Tsilivi and take one of the many turn offs down to parts of the main beach.
As for restaurants and bars - the admirals is situated in a quiet part of Tsilivi (in the planos area) but there are plenty of places to eat. apart from the fact that you could head off towards the centre of Tsilivi, there are plenty on the way there. There is one right next door to the hotel called Stamnes, which is really nice. Check out the message board to see comments from others.
Also if you come to the front of the admirals and take a left onto the main road,Keep walking, and within about 5 minutes you will come to many restaurants. The choice is ample - Greek, English, Italian, chinese and Indian. If you have children, then they will be well catered for too. Apart from the chinese and indian places, all the other restaurants offer a childrens menu.
The admirals is a lovely hotel. We return there year after year. All the staff are great and there are plenty of organised activities which you can take part in. There is a kids club too. I think you have made a great choice.
Have a great time.
Hi Liam,
What date in september were you at the admirals last year? We were there in September too - 9th tll 23rd.
The best thing about this place, was that it was empty all the time we were there. It just spoils Tsilivi. Afterall, who wants to go away for a relaxing break and have thumping headbanging music piercing your ear drums? If you want lively nightclubs, then go to Laganas.
Hi Sonia, Yes the entertainment will be on when you go. Infact i have just recieved an e-mail from one of the entertainment staff and he is due to fly out there in just 4 weeks time - prior to the start of the season. What date in May will you be at the admirals? We are stayiong there from May 26th till 6th June.
yes there is a ki
i am having difficulties trying to post messages on here
annemarrie, i have tried to post in reply to your message but it wont post. Maybe i am writing too much info. I shall have to do it in bits.......................
Annmarrie, yes there is a kids club. one and a half hours in the morning, and the same in the afternoon. It was certainly still there last sept because my 2 boys used it. There may have been days when there were no children in the day - perhaps they had gone out with parents etc, but certainly while there are kids, then the club is on. You can also use facillities of planos bay opposite admirals. They are sister hotels. You can use their kids club too. Not sure about the baby entertainment, but maybe that is new for this year, especially if it says in the brochure that there is one.
i also forgot to mention that they show a nightly film on the big screen in the lounge at around 6 ish for the kids. We found this great because we would get our 2 boys showered and changed, and then they would sit and watch the film whilst we got ready to go out. The admirals is a family hotel, therefore your son will make lots of friends with other children. It has 2 lovely pools. When you arrive, you will see one of them in the centre of the complex, but just around the side, there is another pool with a segregated baby section. Happy hols.
speak a few words of greek and the owners are fine? I speak fluent Greek - being half greek myself (hence my name). No, the owners were not fine, and according to this message board, mine is not an isolated case either. You want to try learning more greek, and you will discover just what the miserable owner and his daughter have to say about the Brits behind their backs, after being nice and sweet to their faces. I had them sussed from the begining you see, being able to understand Greek myself, i was able to confront the old codger about calling somebody's little girl a fat British F...er in Greek. Yes i did confront him, and yes he did get the biggest shock of his life when he realised i spoke Greek, but that was no way to speak of an innocent child, whether she could understand him or not, and i made damn sure i told him so too.
Wullie, You will have a great time at the admirals - lots of fun and banter and a kids club for your 7 year old. The kids club runs 2 sessions - 1 and a half hours in the morning, and the same in the afternoon. nightly entertainment is also available in the lounge throughout the evening. Also a film on the big screen in the lounge at around 6 for your youngster and the liikes. We found this ideal for our 2 boys because we could get showered and ready in peace. The centre of Tsilivi is about 15-20 mins walk from the admirals, but there are so many restaurants and bars on the way to the centre, that you needn't venture that far, if you didn't want to. I too have been to Corfu,(sidari) but it was 13 years ago. I loved it there, but i love Tsilivi just as much. Both have their own different characters. I found the beaches to be nicer in zante - shallow water and safe for kids. Food - kids meal, approx 2.50-3 euro. Adult meals - 5- euros and upwards. Drinks - a pint and a vodka and coke came to 6 euro's last year (thats the dearest we paid) But the vodka was more like a triple one lol. Prices are competative in different places.
we first went to Tsilivi in 1999 when it was still the drachma, and found it to be very cheap. We have been to Tsilivi every year since then, with the exeption of year 2002. We found that things changed once the euro came in. However, it is still pretty reasonable to eat out etc. Restaurants are quite competative too - some offering free kids meals etc. If you have recently been to corfu, you will probably find that the prices are very similar. If you want any more info on best places to eat etc, let me know, and i will get back to you. post a message on the Tsilivi message board. If you go to www.justzante.com you will see a list on the left hand side of page near the bottom. Click on tsilivi message board, and post a message there.
Hi Lindsay, yes the main beach is very shallow. However, if you go to the far end of the beach (planos area) just past the little harbour (which you will see by looking to your left if you are standing on the main beach). Walk around the side of the little cliff and there is a stretch of beach there which is deeper. Loads of rocky areas too. We walk past there every morning to go to the main beach and i have seen snorkelers here on a few ocassions. My kids love this part of the beach because all the bigger fish come to the surface, and there are lots of things for them to explore. But we don't tend to bathe here, basically because the water gets quite deep, and my kids are only just learning to swim.
yes, you can hire fans at the admirals for a small fee. Can't remember how much we paid last year, but it wasn't much.
Hi Donna, i am sorry that you have had to read some of the negative comments on here about the daisy. Yes we did have a bad experience with the owners of the complex because of the poorly maintained accommodation. However, that was 5 years ago, and according to some of the recent visitors to this site, this has changed since we went.
Hi Jamie, i think most of the staff will be there again. I know George deffo will be. We are going may 26th for one week. Anybody else going this time?
Hi Chelsea. We stayed at the Dannas apartments a few years ago. They are situated next door to the Tsilivi admirals down in the planos area, opposite the planos bay. I'm not sure where the 2 brothers is, but if you know where the level bar is and deanos, then you walk down the road in the opposite direction to the main village. Keep walking along the main road, passed the jupiter. The road will then fork off. Keep to the right hand side of the road as it forks off and you will pass a little shop on the right and a jewelery shop on your left. keep walking, and you will pass a few little restaurants and bars. The Dannas is about 100 yards down the road on the right hand side, just passed stammnes restaurants.
Hi there, we are going to the admirals for the 3rd time on 26th may. Haven't really had a problem with regards to the lack of hot water. A lot of places are solar powered, so no sun, no hot water, lol. Never had this problem at admirals, apart from last year the hot water system broke and the water went cold, but it was soon repaired, in a matter of a couple of hours. If you get your shower before 8 pm you shouldn't have a problem.
plenty of beach bars along tsilivi beach - all servinf drinks snacks and ice creams etc. You will be spoilt for choice. It is a beautiful beach. Have a lovely time.
Hi Kerry, in Tsilivi there are a few horse drawn carriages that are taxying back and forth all the time during the evenings. Not sure how you would go about finding a place to book a horse and carriage, but if you are going to be out there a day or so before you get married, you could always try and come to an arrangement with one of the owners of the horse and carriages. There are a few of them and they may be able to help you.
Hi Rita, the rooms we have always had at the admirals have been one big room containing a bouble bed and 2 singles. You would really need to contact the hotel direct for more of a definite answer. I did have the e-mail for the admirals, so i will have a look for it and post it on here.
Hi Rita, following on from my post to you, the e-mail for admirals is
Hi Jue Jue, yes all plans have gone ahead for yannis and thespina. Some of the tsilivi workers have already gone over and have posted messages on the tsilivi message board to say that friends bar is up and running. I'm so pleased for them, as i'm sure you are too. Just incase you don't know where the bar is, it is situated next to the mac donalds (the one that never opened) LOL. The message i recieved was '' a lovely new bar called friends has opened''. We are going over on the 26th may - can't wait now. We didn't stay at the planos last year, we stayed at the admirals accros the road, but drank with yannis and co every night. LOL They are a great crowd, and can't wait to see them.
does anybody know where georgia is, that worked at the admirals snack bar?
Hi wayne, you will just miss us by 4 days. We go from 26th to 2nd. It's great at the admirals, you will enjoy it. Our boys (aged 7&9) love it there.
Hi Leanne, yes there is. If you come out of the Dannas studios and head left up the road as though you were going into the centre of tsilivi. Go past all the restaurants, and bars and keep walking. After about 15 minutes you will see a litle square on the right hand side of the road. It sets back off the road and there is a little jewelery shop on the corner. you will find one in that little complex. Alternatively there is another one in the centre of tsilivi itself. keep walking past the place i just directed you too - past the red lion and down the hill past popeyes. At the bottom of the hill, take a right, and keep walking. On the right hand side of the road is a beauty salon, and they do a laundry service. Strange place to have a laundry service mind, but they definitely do because i went with my friend last year to collect her washing. lol
cool - i am glad it helped. Have a great time. Tsilivi is a lovely and charming place.
Hi Philippa,
just got back from another fantastic time at the admirals - fantastic bunch of lads again this year. George if you are reading this, you looked fantastic in that frock on our last night, and hey, whats that greek guys name that works on the reception desk at night? he's absolutely gorgeous. Bit young for me mind, but still he's a stunner.
went to this bar last week whilst holidaying in Tsilivi. It was absolutely superb. Yannis, Thespina, Illias and Mehmet were great hosts. It is in an ideal spot too - situated next door to Mc Donalds. Anybody going to Tsilivi must try this bar, you will have a wonderful time.
Here is a link to a web site that we are in the process of creating. it is for friends of friends bar, the zante palace and the planos bay - infact for all friends of yannis Thespina and crew. Feel free to take a look and post any pics to us.
hi there have ever had a great night with yannis thespina & gang? if so please take a look at my site @ www.homepage.ntlworld.com/gw1967 and think about sending me some pics to put on there. Also photos from planos bay or friends bar are welcome.

Oh my God. So did you have to stay in Zante and have an operation or something? What happened about your hubby in terms of accommodation, you know because you were supposed to have been flying home? Hope you feel better soon.
If memory serves it's about 16 euros one way, cheaper by bus if you are leaving early.
take your kids to popeyes restaurant. You can't miss it as you will have to pass it to get to the admirals. Very child friendly - always giving the kids free treats, such as frisbes, lolipops, baseball caps, t-shirts, key rings etc etc. They love kids in there and make them feel very welcome. Once you have visited, you will never be forgotten.
message for don who posted earlier:
Hi kerry, mandy from the mega bite internet cafe in Tsilivi has left you a message on the original message board that you posted on. She knows the people you are trying to contact.
Just want to say - LONG LIVE THE TSILIVI ADMIRALS - IT ROCKS.
Well said ruth - i agree with everything you have said. The admirals is a great place to stay. The staff are great and we have met some fabulous people there over the years. Holidaying is about chilling out and enjoying yourself, and what better way to do that, than to soak up the atmosphere at the admirals. We have been to Tsilivi 6 times since 1999 and 3 times to the admirals since 2003 - wouldn't stay anywhere else now, absolutely superb it is. Roll on sept 2006....................admirals here we come again.

you're talking out of your a**e. we have been to the admirals 4 times and never experienced the problems you have mentioned. maybe you should have booked into the caravel with all the blue rinsed krauts. sounds like you would fit in quite well there.
Hi Ruth, what date next year are you going back to the admirals? We are going on the 7th september 06. Cant wait. It will be our 7th visit to Tsilivi and our 4th time at the admirals.
Hi Ruth, we were at the admirals last september and we went at the end of may too, so we have another 14 months to wait now before we go back to the admirals again. We love it there and miss everyone so much. Yea it's a shame we are going to miss one another - with you going next may and us next sept. Yes we have a family - got a 19 year old daughter and 2 boys aged 7 and 9. My daughter has been to Tsilivi a few times with us, although she didn't come with us this year as she went to malia with her boyfriend. Have you not been on the Tsilivi message board, where people can communicate online? it's ace. All you have to do is type in www.justzante.com and then on the left hand side of the page near to the bottom you can click on Tsilivi message board. I'm a moderator on there LOL
nice pics
Hi Ruth, sorry i haven't replied earlier but i've not been online for a few days. Have you checked your bulk mail messages too? Just incase it has been sent there. Try registering again and if it doesn't help then e-mail me on xg0u2081@liverpool.ac.uk and i will try and help you. The thing is, i get onto this particular review site by going to the message board first. Obviously you myst get through a different way. Do you need a password and username etc when you write your reviws on here? if so, then try using the same password and user name on the zante message board. Good luck and like i said let me know if you manage to get on. I did look out for you, but thought it odd that there were no posts from you as such yet.
If you have been to Tsilivi recently and know where mc donalds is?? It is on the same side in that vicinity. There is pierro's and the olive tree too - its in that area. It's only a small place which you go up steps to, but it is a lovely restaurant.
ANYONE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH LINK IN THE LAST POST PLEASE TRY http://homepage.ntlworld.com/gw1967/ OR http://www.friendsoftsilivi.com
for nikki hanson, you haven't got 2 sisters called kerry and kim have you?
Hi there sarah, if you are reading. bounce was telling me that you do cream teas? Hmmmmmmmmmm well if thats the case, we shall be paying a visit next time we are over - sept 06. Where abouts are you situated in zante town?
Nothing wrong with the admirals, it is absolutely fantastic. We have stayed there 3 times over the past 2 years and we wouldn't want to stay anywhere else. The rooms are lovely and clean, and the maids come in every day bringing fresh towels, bedding etc. The pool area is lovely and clean and is cleaned every morning before 8 am. The poolside snack bar is lovely too and very reasonable. There is a kids club for the children and the reps are ace with them. Could not fault the place. The staff are really lovely and friendly and are very entertaining. If you don't go to this hotel then it is your loss. You will have a wonderful time there.
this was a lovely bar, it's a shame that not many people were in there. It always seemed so quiet.
we have been to Tsilivi in october a few times - even as late as the last 2 weeks of the season. The weather has been really nice mostly. Had a few over cast days and the odd shower or thunderstorm but it still has been pretty warm and we have always come home with a nice tan.
Hi Richard,
I can't begin to understand why people have got negative views of the Tsilivi Admirals. I have been to Tsilivi four times and have just booked to go back in May. Lesley... in my view you have nothing to worry about. The rooms are basic yeah but lets not forget this is Greece afterall. most hotels and apartments in Greece are basic. However, they are clean and I think they are spacious, there was five of us (Three adults and two youngens) and lots of room!!!
Long live the best hotel in Tsilivi - the............................ADMIRALS
Hi Ryan, if you go to google and type in xenos hotels, it will show up, along with its sister hotels - planos bay, planos appartments and the zante maris. Watch out though that you don't click on the wrong hotel, as there is an admirals in argassi. LOL
Hi, yea i understand your annoyance about the kids club being cancelled 3 times whilst you were away. The thing is, did Thomas cook tell you that you had already paid for the kids club when you paid for the holiday? The reason i ask is, when we booked the year before last, we were informed that, yes, there is a kids club, but it must be paid for per session, if our kids decided that they wanted to go. Also, did Thomas cook not tell you that you can use the kids club over at the planos bay? It would have been handy to know, seeing as the kids club got cancelled.
been to Tsilivi 6 times and head to this restaurant on the first night every time, and also throughout the 2 weeks of our holiday. We love it here. The menu is extensive and the food is cooked to perfection. The staff in there are great with kids, and remember us every time we go back, especially the waiter with the pony tail.
LOL know what you mean. We were christened
Yea fresh clean towels provided every day at the admirals - a bath towel and hand towel per person.
If the brochure states that all the rooms are 1 bedroomed then that usually means that there is a seperate bedroom containing perhaps 2 single beds and one double in the main room. This certainly is the case over at the Tsilivi admirals where we have stayed a number of times, and it is one of planos bays sister hotels.
the amarylis is next door to friends bar, which is next door to Mc Donalds.
