The Family House

You haven't experienced real Greek hospitality and excellent local dishes until you've been here! We first encountered this restaurant on the stroll back to our apartments and although we had already eaten, we were welcomed with open arms for brandies and coffee. Some of the owners' friends were having a get together and a sing song, their hamronising was wonderful - we felt that we had experienced Zakynthos at it's best. We ate there the next night - the food was beyond our expectations. Definitely worth a visit. Carolyn & Ken

This restaurant is under new management and is situated outside the Trianon Apts.If you want to experience home greek cooking at its best,you need look no further. You are assured of a warm welcome from Anna,Theo and family, together with Yanni the waiter who provides all the entertainment.All the food is locally produced and you must try the rabbit stew one of Anna,s specialities.We ate here most evenings and every morning for breakfast, in the company of Denis(Anna's father)who ensured your coffee cup never run dry
