Have been all over the various Greek Islands and the main land but have yet to a better meal or service than Zeus. many thanks to Spiros -George - Lina and the rest of the staff who made a great holiday all the more memorable. If you go with the wife/girlfriend keep an eye on George. 

i went here with my auntie and uncle in 2003,it was exellent! i was staying in planos bay aparments and i saw this restraunt and it was really nice,the layout was cosy and the food was great. i made quite good friends with george. he gave me a buisness card and i  made him sign it for me  i miss him

we went to the red lion (i think that what it was called) but it wasnt very nice,zeus was definaltly the best!!

this is the best place to eat in tsilivi,the food  was faultless always well cooked and hot,not like a couple we tried.we had a lot of laughs with george my brother as he called me as we have the same birthday or so he said??? 28thaugust.spiros how are you hope you are keeping an eye on george as he's a bit of a jack the lad.hi george its your brother who loves ya baby alan how are you,are you still watching the ladie's walk by,we had a lot of fun with you when came in for our meals your such a fun guy,thanks for all the free wine.we hope to be back one day to see you all again but if we dont we wont forget you all at zeus.bye for now alan,dot,geoff,chris,kirsy,rick,and little taylor.xxxx

This to me is one of the best restaurants in Tsilivi, we eat here three times and made sure it was the place we went to the last night.

Every meal we had in here was lovely hmmmmmmmmm I can still taste the Lamb Keftiko now

I went for quite a few meals all around zante and my partner is a fussy eater so as u can imagine it was difficult. I love this place first place we went to when we touched down in Zante and by far the best. Love u baby and your brother Alan thinks so. See u soon hope and tell Spiros too chill and do that door 4 a bit George. Keep your eyes off the ladys they will get u in trouble. Very child perfect Taylor say's YAMIOS and the swordfish Aphordite is the best.

By far THE best restaurant in Tsilivi!

George and Spiros are fantastic; extremely welcoming to everyone, chivalrous, funny and quite mischievous.

They don't hassle anyone to come into the restaurant, wishing you an enjoyable night should you choose to pass by, but they are obviously very pleased if you do come in.

The food here is absolutely superb; it's fantastic quality, flavoursome, generous size, piping hot and served with a smile.

The traditional dishes come with vegetables, rice and gorgeous Greek potatoes, MMM! (making my mouth water just thinking about it!)

The restaurant is always very busy but you get to pick whatever table you want from those available.

Absolutely love this place and would recommend Zeus without a second thought. We would have eaten here more times (squeezed in 3 visits) if we had been in earlier during our stay (was busy the first few times we passed) shame we didn't know that it was well worth the wait!

(Other holidaymakers were recommending this restaurant but calling it ZEVS, assuming that it's because they misread the sign! Misreading aside, they were certainly recommending a great place to eat!)

Fantastic restaurant.  Staff came rumming when they saw us coming as we had a buggy and there are steps up to restaurant...carried buggy up for us and back down when we were finished, shook hands with myself, my boyfriend and our son when we were going

Food is excellent, try the Zakynthian Rabbit (boyfriend says its the best he's ever tasted)

George and Sperios were fantastic, really friendly and funny!

A big thanks to the staff @ Zeus the food was out of this world and you made us feel very welcome.  I would recommend this restaurant to everybody , They also have a good childrens menu. 

This was the best resturant that we went to during our 2 week stay. the food was well presented and lovely we tried different dishes everytime especially the traditional greek meal and all were exceptional. George and Spiros were brilliant.     Lisa and Iain

This place was quite nearby our hotel. We walked past it most nights and were always greeted by friendly staff wanting us to come in for a meal. We tended to walk on down the street but made a point of calling in during our second week. The staff in Zeus were all unbelievably friendly and we recieved some of the best service of our whole holiday. They were quick to take our orders, fast to serve the food and when it came it was of very high standard and we really enjoyed the meal.  The price was excellent!

Could someone please tell me where Zeus is situated we are going to be stopping at the Contessina

Great place to eat. Two nights to go and our travel rep told us about Zeus. Just like a  real good resturant  back home in England. Good service, the bar next door was playing some great music and the wine was excellent. At the end of the meal the bill was the best value of the week.

 They should open up here in England. No hesitantion back we went the next night for another two great dishes and in our opinion it was the best place on the Island.

the best in tsilivi ... delicious food .. amazingly friendly staff overall fantastic atmosphere .. we have been coming to tsilivi for 4 years and zeus has remained constantly fantastic!!

You will probably have a lot worser meal in other restaurants than at the Zeus.I know Spiros from his days working at the Heaven bar in Alykanas in 1996 and hes been running this restaurant for a few years now and it always seems to get busy,one time we even went for a drink next door whilst a table came available then he just shouted over when it was ready.I must recommend the Beef Stifado,the meat was lovely and tender and the sauce and shallots tasted great too.Never had a bad meal here yet and whenever i visit tsilivi i will make it one of my first meals of the holiday.

 We have just got back from Zante and what a brilliant time we had. We went to Zeus in Tsilivi on the first night because it was so good last year and all the staff  "Sprios, George, Sula and Jackie" made us feel so welcome it was like we had never been away, And we were not disappointed  We tried every meal on the menu over two weeks Greek, English and salads. And it was the best  it has ever been, well cooked, well presented and just delicious ,and very resonably priced. It was a pleasure to see them all again and we will be going back. We would like to take the opportunity on this page to say a really big thank you to them all for making our holiday that extra bit special.

 

Based on this website we expected great things here. We were underwhelmed at how average it was and did not go back for seconds. 

Myself and fiance have just returned from 2 weeks in Tsivili. We visited Zeus once and had a great meal. Went with another couple, one of whom is a vegetarian and there was a great selection of food. We were well looked after and there was agreat selection of food - both tradional Greek dishes and also the old english favorites. Would definately recommend this restaurant for a meal out - very reasonably priced and the desserts are great.

Sorry but I have to disagree totally with the comments from everyone else. The service was great, very frierndly staff but we found far better food elsewhere.

 We had two weeks in Tisivili last year and in the first week we tried a lot of restaurants and in the second week we found the best.

 The food was all cooked fresh when ordered and nothing is too much trouble for any off the staff don.t waste you time trying the rest go straight to the best we are going back again this year and I know were all my meals will be taken

can you give us directions from Tsilivi beach hotel please.

  This was our first time in Tsilivi and Zeus restaurant was the best by far, we ate here 4 times but we would of been alot more if we had found it sooner!  The staff were lovely, the food was fantastic, could we please have the recipe for 'Chicken a la Chef'?  Wish we were still there now.  Hope to being coming back soon! 

  I can highly recommend Zeus for great food, better than excellent staff and service. I have tried many restuarants in Zante all over for the last 12 years and this is the best. The lamb melts in the mouth, the chicken with many different sauces is hard to beat and as for the t-bone steaks- better than the french! The only problem was finding a seat in the restaurant- too many people queing to get in!!!. Well done Spiros & George, keep up the great food and company- looking forward to September 2005.

  We will be spending our third holiday in Tsilivi in May . We will be eating in Zeus again  . The staff are brill so helpfull . My husband needs a wheelchair for long distancea and Spiros and George were there to help . The food is good and good value

during our stay in july 2004 we visited zeus after a few bad meals elsewhere,we had a fantastic meal and the waiters couldnt do enough to help us.We returned every night thereafter and tried nearly everything on the menu-wonderful everytime!if your planning a trip to tsilivi you must visit zeus,you wont be sorry.

went to tsilivi last week september,first week october,tried quite a few places to eat in resort, but after going to Zeus, we went back every night until end of holiday.The staff were all nice and polite, especially Spiros and George,the food was very good and the portions larger than some of the other restaurants we tried. When we go back to Zante we will certainly go to Zeus again.If you don't like Greek food, they do a good mixed grill, and the local wine was also ok.

We stayed in Tsillivi between the 10-24th October 2004, We tried other resteraunts which were also good but the Zeus completely won us over, we are not usually the type of people to eat in the same place every night but for the last eight nights of our holiday we ate at Zeus, the menu is fantastic there is such a wide choice of meals and if you are unhappy with anything you are encouraged to tell the staff as they do not want you to walk away disappointed. Aside from the food the staff at Zeus are a delight, George especially as he is now a very good friend of the family!!

Ms Walsh must have gone on a very bad night. The staff at Zeus, despite being extremely busy, were a perfect blend of courtesy and efficiency. The cuisine was, by far, the best we tried. We tried a large number of tavernas in Tsilivi during the last week of the 2004 season. A very obvious fault of most was that they 'imitated' Greek cuisine (and had a go at other national dishes to cover up/keep the punters happy) - but didn't quite hit the spot from an authenticity point of view.

Zeus (and Fat Olives) really do provide the 'real thing' - tasty, hot, timely and well presented food. It was a joy to eat there (and at F.O.'s). Get some of their moussaka down you, perhaps preceded with the best Tzatziki or Giant Beans available on the island and follow it with their excellent Baklava. A meal to die (and return year after year) for.

This restaurant actually came recommended to me believe it or not. Usually i'm easily pleased but the one meal my husband and I did have was horrible. I dont mind waiting a while for a nice meal but when my mixed grill arrived it was freezing cold and had a horrible taste off it. Fair enough it was a really busy night but you would think the owner would hire more waiters. My cheesecake was beautiful until i discovered a nail in the whipped cream when i said this to the young girl she just said ohh i'll change that for you without apologising. Atmosphere very tense between the owners and their staff the waitersses didnt look happy at all with the way they were spoken to. If i were to recommend a good restaurant I would say try the Troc, Mano's grill or Fat olives. All equally delicious.

Hi My name is Linda Neal(was Cahill) we travelled to Tsilivi in September for 2 weeks to get married, unfortunately we did not have our reception at Zeus due to a prior booking but we did eat here on several nights as the food is fantastic and the staff a pleasure to know. This was our second time in Tsilivi and the staff remebered us from the year before which was lovely. 35 family and friends travelled with us and all at one point visited Zeus and agreed with us. We love this Island and the people and had a beautiful wedding never to be forgotten

Spiros is lovely, a gent, the food is excellent, we visit this place every year!

BEST FOR FOOD, TRY THE LAMB DISH THAT COMES IN A FOIL PACKET ON FIRE.
FEED THE CAT SHES NICE, THE APPLE PIE IS EXCELLENT WITH CREAM. THE BANANA BOAT IS A WORK OF ART. STAFF VERY HELPFUL.

We were in Tsilivi in May . We ate every night in Zues . The food, service, wine were all brill . We are back in September for two weeks and will be eating there again

Fantastic meals and great value for money, Spiros is a really nice guy goes out of his way in order that you enjoy yourself.

The service was excellent - the waiters were very friendly and polite. We came here twice on our holiday.

Well what can we say a excellent restaurant one of the best in Tsilivi Spiros and George are fantastic so friendly, guys I miss your potatoes!!! They are just the best. Would strongly recommend this to anyone we ate there most nights and each time it was really nice.

We went to the Zeus restaurant on our last night in Tsilivi after hearing some glowing reports. We weren't disappointed - some excellent food and great service!

Spiros and George made us very welcome. Me and my wife Chris visited the restaurant on two occasions. The T bone steaks are excellent and well priced. All in all I visited 7 restauarants over a period of one week and found this one to offer the highest standards and most reasonably priced meals. You can also see the kitchens which I consider to be a plus when eating abroad. And by the way say hello to the pretty Lady Chef whilst you are there. Definitely ten out of ten (and I don't give these scores out very often!)

Sorry I'd had a little to much Mythos on this particular evening and it was earlier in in our 7 days, so I can't remember the detail.
Apart from Good food, Good service reasonable price.

Good service, the staff are excellent, try the peppered steak, chicken souvlaki and smile at the price. I recomend you have 1 litre of house white wine with your meal, greek salad and a road-side table.

Great choice from the menu, ate here a couple of times and we all liked it.

We dined here loads of times during our fortnight after having tried a few others and deciding that this was the best, the food was always excellently cooked with a wide variety on the menu, even if it wasn't on the menu the staff would try to accomodate, tables were at a premium by early evening!! The waiters were brilliant and usually quick to serve and clear. The Zeus obviously knows that it provides a better package than most of the others as the prices show this but there again having used the place a lot we had no sign of "Deli Belly" Try to avoid sitting near the swallows nests as you can get bombarded with droppings and birds flying past inches from your nose!!

had a great meal in this restaurant, caters for all tastes. i like the greek food ,my children prefer the basic english dishes ,all of it is available here and very nice too.the service and staff were excellent,a really enjoyable evening would recommend it to anyone.

Can't understand why this rest. is not 10/10, visited three times during our stay, all fantastic meals.

We have just spent a fornight in Tsilivi and had a relaxed holiday. We ran across an old greek friend who runs this restaurant.Spiros Vourtsis is the man concerned and his brother George. Great food, english and greek- roast lamb, chicken cordon bleu, t-bone steaks- all execellent quality. Can't wait to returned!!

We recently spent a week in Tsilivi and we liked it so much that we are going back next year to get married. We spent nearly everynight in the Zeus and thought the food, service and prices were excellent. We would like to get in touch with the owners to see if they will let us have our wedding reception there next year. Can anyone help? Does anyone have an address?

Anyone who has worked in Stilivi should have eaten in Zues i did many times and it was always fantastic, couldnt find a fault if i tried. it was always that busy there was a Q.I would reccomend it to anyone.

This was the one we returned to. Staff were very attentive and seem to take a pride in a professional and friendly attitude. In a resort full of top great restaurants, this was the best. Go there.
