i have to say all the people commenting here must have eat in a different place than me. i have been going to kalamaki for the last 17 years and this is the worst place i have ever eaten. i had a sirloin steak i have had bigger burgers at mcdonalds, my wife had chicken curry with a half mixed sauce could still taste the powder.my brothers lettuce in his salad still had soil on it.and we waited 20 minutes after we finished the starter to get our main course. also had vodka and coke to drink only could.nt taste the vodka. this also was the most expensive meal i had in 2 weeks. i am no food critic go and try it at your peril but don,t say you were,nt told. yammas for now.
Me and my friend ate here and it as lovely the staff were great and the food was excellent would eat here again
Heaven Kitchen is one of the best resturants in zante and over our 1 week stay, we went every night, trying something different every time. the staff and the owners were very nice 2 us every time taking time to talk to us while wating for our food.
Heaven Kitchen is turely a little taste of heaven every time.
We Miss eating there after 2 day being back in the uk
The UK is just not heaven
10/10The food was lovely but had to wait so long between each course that couldnt face my main course. It was very busy and know you have all the time when on holiday but took soooooo long.Everyone else was the same and too busy to ask for more drinks.would go back but earlier in the evening.
we had read all the good things on this site about Hevens kitchen, so went the 1st night of our holiday, however when we got there it was heaving, so we went elsewhere.Promising ourselves we would go there as it was obviously good......When we did go maybe it was an off night as they messed up our order, after we had waited 1/2 hr to have our order taken, the food arrived cold, and pretty tasteless. I am going back to Kalamaki in October and may try again to see if it was just an off night when I went before.
Lovely place to have an evening meal. Always busy but nothing to much trouble. Food excellent and service polite and courteous. The warm pitta bread with tzatziki is "heaven". All very good value for money
1st class service. The staff are very friendly and can not do enough for you. The young english girl who is married to one of the waiters was very chatty on our last night and was not at all "snotty". Food was very good and couldn,t find anything to find fault with. keep up the excellent service and we will see you next august
I can honestly say I never thought I would have queued up to go in a restaurant - But its true. This has got to be one of the best restaurants I have eaten in. The garlic mushrooms and fresh bread are amazing !!!! Yes, I agree the service is a little on the slow side, however, c'mon guys you are on your holidays isnt everything supposed to be more relaxed and laid back. If you want fast food go to McDonalds. The waiters are great they will go that extra mile for you and very reasonable prices. I ate there 3 times in a week and everything was superb. Keep up the good work !!! Highly recommended.
i loved heavens kitchen! Mario is one of the waiters and he is amazing, very charming and funny. I spoke to him everyday and hes a credit to heavens kitchen. He treated us amazingly well when we went to eat there, we were treated to special cocktails each time i wasnt very keen on the female staff as they seemed a bit snotty. The food is fabulous, it was the best place that we ate in during our 2 week stay. And i miss it so much!! but i'd definately recommend eating there!!
Just got back from kalamaki on the 6th of july and have to say heavens kitchen is a brilliant place to eat. we ate there 3 times in our week and had fab food every time. the prawn cocktails are amazing and would definitely recommend it!!! the waiters are really friendly and we even got taught some greek from Christoph!
We have just returned from Kalamaki for the third time. We went to eat in this restaurant and the chap on the main entrance was very rude to us. Needless to say he lost out, as a party of 8 we did not eat here.
Just returned from Kalamaki and can honestly say that Heavens Kitchen offers the best food and service on the Island. Heavens Kitchen measured above the rest in the quality of the cuisine and service that you would expect from fine dining establishment. Recomended meal for all you fish lovers is the sea bass.
Very efficient, friendly and professional head waiter, delicious food. One of our favourite restaurants. Shame about the karaoke guy in red lycra next door!
Well we went in sept for our 2nd vist and it was smashing yes service was a little slow BUT HEY WHATS¬THE RUSH ! got a train to catch ? lovely meal served hot and plentyful and dessert to follow washed down with a bottle of red i have been going to Kalamaki for years now and have no problems with heavens kitchen keep up the good work you must be doing something right coz most night we went past it was full
Can't understand the comments so far. We've just got back from Zante and we ate at Heavens Kitchen three times. Without doubt the best restaurant that we ate at. Food was excellent. Huge authentic pizzas, tender steaks and the Fajita's were to die for !!
The waiters were great...couldn't do enough. 10/10.
I have just arrived back from Zante tonight and ate in Heavens Kitchen more than 5 times during the duration of my stay and i have to say me and the boyfriend never had a bad meal in the restaurant once. The food was gorgeous! Especially their chicken curry! Yum! Im hungry just writing about it hehe. Although I will admit the service is a little slow as me and my boyfriend waited 35 minutes on our first visit to the restaurant to recieve our main course. However this didn't put us off in the slightest due to the high standards of food and service by the waiters especially mario!! We were even given complimentary drinks due to having ate in the restaurant so many times! I would recommended this restaurant to anyone! x
On Saturday 18th August our group of four had the misfortune to dine at Heavens Kitchen. After an hour we recieved the wrong starter by which time we were to hungry to complain. After a further 20 minutes we still had not recieved our main course and politley complained but was told that this was the norm. We observed that people who had come in after us were being served their main courses. Nearly 2 hours after arriving at Heavens Kitchen our main course arrived. One of which was an omelette!. One of our party had a headache due to lack of food and another was a diabetic. By this time we were all too angry to enjoy our meal. To this end we asked for a 50% reduction in the bill and were refused. They also refused to reason with us. My advice is do not go to Hells Kitchen as there are plenty of other good places to eat in Kalamaki.
Perhaps they should rename this Hells Kitchen, I think they need Gordon Ramsey to go there. That way you might get your meal.
we ate here on our last night of our holiday and the food was just brill the garlic bread with cheese was the best id had all holiday it was just lush and the scampi was lovely to and very fresh. my partner had stuffed mushroom and were the biggtest mushrooms i have ever seen and a mexican pizza which was also so huge and very freshly made. you can see the cheifs cooking the food as its open plan with a hatch type thing which you can watch the cheifs cook which is good and kitchen was very cleen indeed and suprising as they were very busy and almost full.
wine was fab an cheep and service was good waiters were very nice and helpful would recomend this place to anyone and have nothing bad to say about it.
just got back after 2 weeks and ate here twice, meal was excellent both times and service was excellent too
Same here, we went there one night whilst in Kalamaki, about 2 weeks ago, and the food was lovely, so was the service. I have no complaints and certainly none about dining there again
Some people arnt eay pleased and do eat good food ! And always we eat Greek .
Just that some people do expect ritz type place and cant adjust to holiday mode i can also recomend other fantastic eating places that are high in service and the food is great as i have before All i can say is this place was great when we went in mayThis was our 8th visit to Kalamaki and was by far the worst restaurant experience we have ever had. I cannot comment on the quality of the food as we didn't get to eat any!
Fantastic, best meal we had whilst in Kalamaki. Seafood was just melt in the mouth and the bread was just gorgeous. The service was also great Mario and Leah were very friendly (good luck with the wedding). Visited twice and food just got better wish we could have gone again. Was the only place we visited that served real mushrooms and not out of a tin. Defo 10/10 will go again on next visit!!
We went into heavens kitchen first night and again later in holiday staff very friendly and good food had the sea bass in red peppers really nice ,a few people have said the service was slow but our was excellent both times.
friendly staff, nice surround though wine is so over priced for example amoudi is €4 in shops around €7-8 in most restaurants & €12,50 here! my meal was awful chose lamb kleftico as i had had it in other restaurants before, but here it had no taste and was bulked out with tinned vegYUK !!!!!! waiter didnt seem to care much either!!!
