The Ark bar is the best is Tsilivi, Nico made me dance on the bar with George and i loved it. Setting fire to the bar was excellent....missing my daily intake of ursus though......cant wait to be back next year to see my naughty boys!!

Hey not that i have to add my comment by the looks of things but this is without doubt the best bar in zante and maybe the world lets start with the waiter costas he is brilliant and then george and nick well we stayed at the apartments next doors and is was just brilliant for the whole two weeks thank you all very much and bounce u just keep up the hard work u do a great job there mate and i know how hard it is to do ur job . but u do it so well good on u all and nick YES we got u in the pool ha ha at last

just got back 3 days ago and had the best time!! my friends parents knew george and nikos and had sent us in with pics to give to them!! they were so funny a real comedy duo!! made us feel very welcome, george kept on calling me his sexy baby, and nikos was giving my friend the same attention, we found them hilarious,always wanting kisses tho could sometimes get a little too much!! got loads of fabulous pics i will be sending over to them both, claire and myself behind the bar, on the bar, in the bar!!! the best holiday ever i have to say!!! thankyou to GEORGIE PORGIE and NIKOS for looking after us!!! well i loved this place i was in tsilivi twice last year an was in the ark every night for both holidays geprge what a guy he crazy an he always callin me his baby an wanting pics with me bless him. greak voda an cokes very very strong an i love them lol. just got back a week ago an i am goin bk in sept for the third time this year an i so cant wait. bounce he plays great music u ask him to play a song an i can garentee u it will be the next song playin.

Just got back and spent most nights at the Ark, George and Nico are brilliant and made my holiday. George told me he was 25 last week, not sure if thats true or not, he looks older than Nico!! The DJ (bounce) seemed alright to me but don't think he's with Leanne anymore. Its definitely worth a visit and hopefully I will be back again soon, I will put on some photos soon. Yammas guys xx  

The Ark was fab last may there was a good load of people there on holiday and working they all mixed in and the atmosphere was great. This year bit weird really tensified and bounce didnt seem his normal cheery self and well maybe this will cheer him up there is a job vacancy calling him back to london to work for kiss fm radio. When i met you last year i am always warey of people but you were definately hot stuff no one can get enough of you so would you be interested in my offer if so please contact me. i will send another email with contact details as at present dont know. Another thing when i was there was there last year you were besotted with Lianne,  hows that all going i hope you two are still going strong, that is one relationship that is meant to be hey. You were a lovely couple.

It was excellent. It was by far the best cocktail bar in the area. George celebrated his birthday on our last night there and we still don't no how old he is, so if you read this George I would love to know how old you are?!

Once again we headed for The Ark in May 05.  Apart from the loss of the wonderful Sarah all was the same.  Good company, atmosphere food and drink.

Hey what a fantastic bar! We got home on Fri 27/05/05 after 2 excellent weeks at the Di Palai hotel and every night spent in the Ark next door, good staggering distance espesh after all those free shots!

Thanks George (from Sexy Baby!), Nico, Reggie etc for making our holiday one to remember.

To be a good DJ you have to know how to read your audience. I think DJ Bounce did this very well. Yes sometimes the music was crap and yes he may have promised things to people that he was unable to deliver but if the bar didn't have him there it wouldn't be as popular. Not only because it would turn into a bar like many of the others and just play cd's with no talk or games but George & Niko would have to keep rushing to change CD's. Leave Bounce off this site now as he will not be returning next season (unless he's changed his mind) If he wasn't liked then why did more & more people go back each season but more importantly why was he employed for more than one season!!!!!

Regarding previous comments - to be fair there are not many luxurious toilets in any of the bars/restaurants, but we still love going back to Tsilivi. The Ark is our favourite bar. I discovered (after nipping into the boys toilet with my young son) that at least there was plenty of toilet paper and paper towels and the bin was empty! A good idea if there are a few girls waiting. Beth, you sound quite young (am I right?)- I hope you cheer up again soon.

Beth, i thought the idea was to be objective about all the places on this site. Had a lovely time in Tsilivi. Ark bar not bad but during the winter shut down you really need to update a few things. The toilets are a big let down, dirty and very smelly. I would have preferred to have used the car park at the back! A new dustbin would be a start (not nice having to use hands to open it) There were too many seats inside the bar that when it rained made not a lot of room for getting to the bar and back saftely with drinks. Service was very slow unless you were big chested the n the service was outstanding. George was moody. Niko drives you mad with the constant yamas baby. Cheer ups guys after all the paying public ie the English are what keep you in business.

Well we were at tsilivi in july and september then we went back 5 weeks later the ark bar was great george was a lil flirt and always had to kiss you telling us to dance on there bar so we did then putting fire round our feet it was a good night but we had plenty of good nights in the ark the music was great too played what ever song you wanted on we will be back next year for longer than 2 weeks cya all soon x x x

The Ark is the best bar on the island. It is great fun with gorgeous boys and friendly staff. It is a must go! There is nothing negative about it. Nikos and George are mint. Sarah is the nicest person ever and Steve well lets just say hes gud gud lukin. You don't want to miss out on this bar.

Im dying for an Orgasm and I know that the best place to get one.....along with a giggle, a wiggle and a smile is definately the Ark Bar.
The long miserable days here in the UK are often wiled away by me thinking about returning to Tsilivi in May.... Im currently looking for an aprtment to rent that is extremely near to the Ark Bar.
Guys and Gals reading this who have never been... believe me, I need to be a bit closer to this place than I was before, especially as my staggering days are beginning to surpass me, I prefer the long drink myself sober technique until 7am... Then stagger, roll, bump my way back to the apartment.

The Ark is the best place on earth ever. Open 24 hours a day with a creperie attached for excellent food. Entertainment from the resident Niko and George is a joy to watch, and they are great people too.

How can you say that Leanne has lost out from Paul - from what i hear there was a 20 yr age gap between them so how was it ment to last? a young 20 something girl putting up with a divorced man and his baggae who was willing to relocate after a brief fling in the sun. Hey you lot... had a lovely time in The Ark Bar. I had read some of the comments on here before coming away on holiday so was a little concerned. As it happens i had a great time... Nick you do a lovely orgasm (wink wink) George you could do with a little more smiling but then again it's not every day you have to work in the shadow of a god! ha ha ha only joking you are gorgeous! Not sure who the other guy was walking around but he looked a bit dim.Sarah did a good job. Paul.. Bounce you are a legend and a very passionate kisser! I had a great few nights with you... only in the bar but my god can you move when you want to. Leanne must be a very understanding young lady (i'm sure i'd not be) Music is a bit on the cheesy side but then what can you expect for a holiday resort! So thanks once again for a lovely holiday. Met some great people in there too especially Kirsty, Clare aka Bear and Rachel & Paul.

We LOVED this bar and was so surprised by it, thought Nicholas and George where the best bartenders in the world so so so so funny. Cocktails were only Eur 3.50 - 4.00 and they gave all the people sitting around the bar free shooter at least twice in two hours not to mention they set the bar on fire literally using sambuca etc. Wild place!! It is worthwile to go just to see George and Nico (who is gorgeous)

It's the first time that I have seen a womans breasts used as cocktail shaker!,with the ladies permission of course, but then Nickos and George do know how to entertain the punters and are the stars of this bar. With the precision ice throwing, plus the mad antics(including Nickos trying to set fire to Georges head)it's a very good bar to be in.The food is very good, the service is very good (thank you Sarah)and you must try the crepes. The music is a bit twee. More dance chart/ club classics stuff and lastest R&B would be more suited to the people who frequent The Ark. Smutty songs made by the DJ belong in blackpool not Tsilivi

Hey... it's not DJ Bounce you have to be worried about here it's the wicked cocktails and fantastic atmosphere! George takes a little getting used to but all he needs is a dancing partner and some politness and he's happy! Nico on the other hand is hard to get up dancing on the bar... he is the Cocktail Guru..watch out one screaming orgasm from him and you'll be begging for mercy! lol
So have a fantastic time if you visit...remember the bar is for drinking,eating and cavorting in not for making peoples lives a nightmare! DJ Bounce... have a rocking rest of season and keep spinning those cool tunes...... justone thing tho' when you finish for the night can you make sure you leave Nico with something good to play as he's not too good at being a DJ (maybe that's fater a few Ursus Shots)

This was a fantastic bar and very friendly, it was great the way that got everybody involved when making the cocktails all though it took a long time for them to be served it was entertaining, they really do try to make sure that everyone is having a good time.

Not sure what people are expecting from a bar in the middle of summer.... waiting for a drink in this country would be bad but waiting in a bar with excellent entertainment (just watching the guys make the cocktails is enough) and fab temperatures. Lets face it if you smile and look like your having a good time then you will get served regardless of who you are! I had a fab time in this bar last October and will be enjoying it again in September. Just proves that this is a happening bar... if you have to wait then it means it's popular!!! Both George & Niko are excellent hosts and work hard to provide the best for the customers. Don't forget that you are holidaying in another country and if this means the Greeks drink in the bar then that's finr. We wouldn't expect bars in UK to be just for foreign tourists now would we! Lighten up folks and have a good holiday... hey if you don't like the bar go elsewhere... it means the rest of us will get served in 50 mins! Yammas xx

WE HAD TO WAIT AN HOUR FOR A DRINK COS WE WERE FRIENDS OF BOUNCE, HOW RIDICULOUS I HATED IT THERE IN THE END SO WE WENT TO DEANOS AND HAD A FAB TIME. Just got back to Scotland yesterday and we are all fed up as it hasn't stopped raining - missing our nightly sessions in the Ark and missing Nico George Tony Bounce and Sarah - you were all so lovely to us. Good luck for the future to Bounce and Leanne, you guys are a great couple. Enjoyed chatting to Leanne and Gemma on their last night (Heather & Craig enjoyed the ice cream cake!)

We couldn't believe George still remembered Heather (his bestest pal) from 2002 - what a welcome. Tony - we will be back but maybe not as soon as September! George - Heather will be in touch sometime.

hi there, i was holidaying in tsilivi at end of july along with loads of other english holiday makers, who by the way felt pushed out of the equasion as the bar is run by a lovely greek family felt it best to entertain the greeks more than holiday makers. this is fine but when the english are leaving the bar because of snidy remarks made by certain people i.e george its not on we were there to have a good time not be made to feel like s**t.

dont get me wrong nico- fantastic, athina-fantastic, bounce-fantastic, sarah-fantastic and all the day time staff fantastic, it only takes one person to make an atmosphere bad.

cocktails brill,another problem i had was on friday nite last week, i am pressuming there was an engagement of one of the staff as one minute people were flocking into the bar to wish the happy couple congrats the next they all left and i am pressuming that night the bar was busy, as we and them were waiting nearly an hour to be served, if that had been my engagement and my colleagues at work had treated me that bad i would walk, but well done as whether it was a front or not you stood your ground and made them look like fools when i seen you in there a couple of nights later.

anyway sorry bout the essay but i had to heir my thoughts.

nico you are lovely lovely man brill with my kids but you have alot of staff loyalty, to be honest your bar was the best even with the bad atmosphere but please all sort out your differences.

This was the best bar we went to. George and Nicos are crazy! They made us feel really welcome, and let me shake the cocktails a few times! They give out free shots and the cocktails are gorgeous! Loved this bar and would definitely go back if we ever came to Tsilivi again.

We liked you guys when we visited tsilivi in 2003...just back from rhodes..ok but entertainment not the same as tsilivi and the ark. Altho it was great when greece won euro 2004.(wished we were in tsilivi)
We shall be returning to tsilivi in 2005 if i can persuade my other half..already thinking of booking.

Just a note of congratulations to George Nikos and all the staff after the fantastic win by Greece in the European Championships. Bet that was an all night party. Hi to the gorgeous nikos and the cheeky george. We love tsilivi and the ark. Best bar in tsilivi. Cant fault the guys. Good food and good beer. We visited in Aug/03. It was the Third year for me in tsilivi. Second year for my other half and we took his daughter as well last year.
Supporting the greeks also in Euro 2004.
Going to rhodes this year guys. We will miss you this year but be sure we will see you in 2005.
P.S. We were the liverpool supporters. We arrived around the time George got detained for one night. All in good humour dont let this stop you enjoying the ark and tsilivi.

my friend and i were not happy with the ark bar... it was too geared up on just providing alcohol or sex to underage girls. whilst we were there a group of welsh girls arrived. one in particular was underage. by the end of the evening she had managed to injure herself and one of the bar members, puke in and around the toilets, yes male and female one's, then stagger about the bar until she finally decided it was time to find her hotel and go to bed. all this and she was just 16!
one good point is the crepes served next door. very good value for money and the service is quick even at 4am.
i doubt we shall be returning to the island as it's turning into an 18-30 p**s up island.

By far the best bar in Tsilivi. Excellent double act between Nikos and George. Sarah, Maria and the other girls all work really hard, and never have a minute. As it's now open 24 hours, the team are all working even harder than usual to make our holidays brilliant.
Excellent music, and live entertainment. If the weather is a bit dull, why not watch a movie on the big screen, or even have fun with George watching his favourite team playing football. Lovely cake at Maria's birthday last year.
Looking forward to going back in May to see everyone again.

Got back from Zante on 2nd Oct after a very enjoyable time. The Ark was one of the best bars i visited and as it's open 24hr always busy.
The team are very good and seem to know exactly what each other it thinking.
I'm not sure what goes on in the little room behind the small cocktail bar but Niko's disappears for a while and comes back looking well pleased with himself! After reading a few more reports on here i assume this is where he entertains his many ladies. I wonder if there are any Greek men who are faithful to their partners or wives!
Don't let this put you off mind as the bar entertainment is far better than worrying about the Coming's and going's of the little room of horrors!

Absolutely one of the best bars in Tsilivi. George and Nikos are the best comedy double act on the island, the floor show is the excellent with cocktail throwing and setting fire to the bar!!! If you go there sit round the bar for front row seats of the fun. What more can I say other than 'HONK HONK'!!!

What a place! By day.....a nice bar to have crepes (which are out of this world by the way!), coffee, the odd beer (??!!) and maybe see a film if the weather isn't so good. By night.....a veritable floor show of cocktails, drink throwing, bar burning (yes, they set the bar on fire every so often - great!) and general drunkeness.......and you can still get a crepe at 3am!!! Nico and George make everyone feel welcome and the cocktails are killer!

What more can we say......if you're in Tsilivi......GO!!!

Such a great place, went as a group of two fourty something couples. Ten days at the resort ten nights at the ark.
The place is just so much fun. The guys, well what can you say the welcome you get really is unbeleavable.

The ark made our holiday even better George, Nik and Tony are the best people to spend your time with. I cant beleive how long they work its amazing how well they do though and i cant wait to see them next year when i go back.

Went a few times, and I dont know how they stay open. Profit can't be the reason they're in business as Niko's must drink a skinful every night. Fair play to the fella, he's got the constitution of an Ox. As long as you go and stay!they'll look after you to the hilt. Free Red Vodka shots for anyone there more then two drinks worth. Very busy, loads of party mood people there.

Hi Billy, no we weren't in there on the friday night..our last night was saturday 28th. We did go to George's birthday party though, I was dancing on the bar etc that night too!! It was a mad night..I even went on a little bar crawl with George in the early hours, god knows how he managed to drive his bike in the state he got himslef in!!! They were all a crazy bunch, i'll have to get some of our photos on here soon!

What mad times we had in this place, The Ark was the best bar that we come across on our 2 week hol in Tsilivi. Promised a big shout to Dj Bouncy- keep playing those funky tunes for us nutty Welsh girls! The bar men, Nikos and George, were just a mad and real friendly pair..always giving us lots of top cocktails, shots and giggles!! I wanna say a special hello to cheeky boy George- enjoyed our crazy dances on the bar and a big thank you for my lovely goodbye present! Bless! Wish we were there now, keep smiling!

i just got back from tsilivi today, we went to the ark bar three times and it was wicked, nikos and george were a good laugh, alwasy giving us free drinks of red vodka and other silly drinks, set the bars on fire a few times, and we managed to stay up into the early hours with them on a couple of occasions, when we got to see them both rat assed. Unlike most bars they like to drink with you and get just as drunk, top bar, without this extra bar in tsilivi, the resort would have been pretty boring, top bar tops guys, georges birthday was a mad night, and all he ever said was yamas, we dubbed him crazy george, and i held nikos to a draw at arm wrestling, ask him about arm wrestling the bug guy and hell remeber , get there on your first night youlll be back all the time sit round the bar too for free drinks

Yet another one on my list of great bars. The bar staff were all very entertaining (bonkers infact)and there is a massive selection of cocktails to choose from. Probably why its called a cocktail bar then. Good place to go on your first day in resort (and your second, and your third and your.....)

I'll try and get a few more of this place up, so you can all bask in its glory, but for now go and visit it in person instead, you'll have a great time!

The Ark Bar is by far the best bar on the island. Nikos and George are brilliant – two of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. They always make you feel welcome and you cannot fail to have a good time here. A must if you visit Tsilivi/Planos.

Excellent bar that we went to alot during our stay in July/August 2002. Saw Elvis, did the quiz and won some prizes and had a great time...

i visited The Ark bar in May this year, it was a great atmosphere and i even got to dance on the bar! George and Nikos are a great laugh and anyone can get along with them! If you visit Tsilivi you have got to visit The ark bar it's the best night out! I enjoyed it so much i am planning to go back next year!

Georgey and Nikos are the most fantastic cocktail performing double act you will ever see! This bar is a great place to have a good laugh. Just returned from my 5th visit to Tsilivi, and it was so good to see the gorgeous Nikos and the charming George again. They never fail to make people feel at home. The atmosphere is great, the drinks are cheap, and the bar staff are very entertaining. One of the best places to go in the whole resort. Can't wait to get back out there.

We had a total blast here every night.They stayed open 24 hrs if you can hack it! The d.j Paul was good for a laugh playing some cheesy 80s stuff for us to mess around to. The bar men hand out slammers all night and play the visitors brilliantly. Girls- go to the loo in pairs, Nicos likes many, many women !!!!Ha Ha.

Great value short drinks, ordered a Gin and Tonic and got almost a full glass of Gin with a dash of tonic. Barmen like to have a laugh.
