You got to go to Venue!!  Shay is a headcase and had us in stitches!!  There are some beautiful girls working behind the bar and everybody is really friendly!  Had a great time with you guys!!!

1 of the best bars in kalamaki, we loved singing on the kareoke altho we were rubbish, but that prob had alot to do with the alchohal we consumed , want to go back and see the baywatch run again lol, love you guys loads

 hey to all at the venue bar, we have just got back from kalamaki and can honestly say that comming to your bar in the evenings was one of the highlights of our holiday

  luke our 10 year old loved the kareoke and the guy's doing the djing,( especially when he took his laser pen in and kept shining it on everyone  ) OK so he sang mostly busted's greatest hits but he had never done kareoke before,after 1 song he was hooked   .What a trully brilliant atmosphere,and how we miss those bubblegums see you all next year!

just a quick note to a huge thanks to you all for making my holiday. venue is by far the best bar on zakynthos, not that we needed to try any on the others!! it was the first bar we went in, and as we enjoyed it that much we went every night for 2 weeks.

on returning to cov we went to our local pub for the karaoke night, and as predicted it just wasn't the same. there was no cute d.j, or crazy bloke in a pig suit, and i got a rather peculiar look when i asked for 'f*** on first dates!!!

i've never wanted to be back somewhre as much as i want to be back in kalamaki, and that's all thanks to you guys! look forward to seeing you all next year.

As anyone reading the comments for this bar can see it is a really lovely family friendly bar with lovley friendly staff. I am so shocked it still only has a 9/10 rating. If you go on holiday to Kalamaki no matter what age you will be made to feel welcome here. Tony will get you in off the street, the waitressess will keep your drinks topped up (and they remeber what you drink!) so you don't have to. and Seamus (best karaoke host ever) and Michael will keep the music going and they play all types as well. Some bars in Kalamki have youngsters as young as 13/14  dancing on their bars, getting really drunk, and have even been seen having sex in their toilets, most people will know what bar I am talking about!!, But nothing like this goes on at Venue, it is good clean family fun for all ages, and the toilets are the best in Kalamki. Cannot wait to go back next year.

We were laughing at the prices so much because of the PR guy's recommendations! Very cheap for drinks, 2.50 euro for cocktails, around 2 euro for a big bottle of Mythos. Also got a free shot of some strawberry flavoured substance on every visit! You should change soe of the names of the cocktails though, James Bond 007 tastes like cola bottles, and the Venue Special tastes like Love Hearts! Also like the Slippery Nipple and Flatliner shots!

I too saw Peter Kay in the venue, whilst I was there on holiday. What a nice bloke he was too. He played along the part well, with the help of Seamus. This place is a MUST if your in Kalamaki, we ended up there every night of our hol!!!!

The staff are grand, the girls knew our fav cocktails by the end of the week and shameus got Paul singing!!Our advice is try a cocktail from every page then order your fav as a fish bowl!!!

A brill place and credit to its hard workers!!!

Have just returned from holiday in Kalamaki. Went to Venue bar (as I did last year) and it was better than last year, due to the new Karaoke host Seamus. He is mad, but a great guy, and makes everyone feel welcome.Michael is brilliant as a DJ and keeps the music going  between karaoke songs, and it is good music too. Tony, Donna and all the staff at theVenue are brilliant, and they serve the best cocktails going and the cheapest (and I am an expert!!). The girls who take your orders for drinks are really good and have good memories as when yoiu have had a few and can't remember what you are drinking they will remeber for you!! Also the toilets are the best and cleanest in Zante let alone Kalamaki!!!!. When I return next year I will be heading for the Venue, and everyone who is going to Kalamaki should go as you will not be dissapointed..  Seamus, if you are reading this Jeannie says Hello, and is busy  marking your homework!!!!!!!!!.  .

We loved it! Karoake every night with a fishbowl in hand! Make sure to put your song requests in upon arrival!

There is only one reason i would go back to Kalamaki is to go and see everyone at the venue and to go have a good time at the venue. It is very clean and if ou dont go to the venue you'll regret it. 

IF YOU VISIT ONE BAR IN KALAMAKI  FOR KARAOKE GO TO VENUE. BUT GO ON A NIGHT WHEN SHAMUS IS RUNNING THE SHOW, HE IS A GREAT GUY AND GOOD WITH THE KIDS, AND A GOOD ENTERTAINER. Friendly staff, good entertainment, very cheap and serves 'proper' English food. Deffinate bar I'll visit again soon, as I'll be back in a couple of days.

Cheap drinks and plenty of cocktails to choose from. Got a couple of vouchers for free shots from them too. Excellent.

Its a place to go for a good night out a great place to take the family, a family enviroment we will be back so if you get in Zakinthos well my family recomend the venue.

No comments really on this place, we didn't go in there when we stayed in Kalamki - there was a scouse PR dude on the door when we went and was really horrible to us cause we were welsh - rather you not have our custom thanks!!

visited this place a few times during our holiday and found it to be agreat night out. karaoketill whatevertime you want. although one karaoke host better than the other!! but you were encouraged toenjoy yourself whatever your age and didnot feel uncomfortable at all. Suggest everyone gives this place a try.

Was there Jul/Aug 04 Tony and all the staff were great.A great pint,cheap game of pool and great Karaoke from Michael.
Very friendly staff.You could go into the Venue and not by a drink and still be made very welcome.The place is very clean.All the best to Tony and Staff from Big Tam & family ( Scotland ).When i come back its my first stop a drink.

All the staff were wonderful and they looked after me and me 7 mates! There Kareoke is great and everytime u sing they give u a free shot and sometime give u mates some as well!! It's a great family run bar!!

hi venue.... was there for the football in june found it was the best place to go for the atmoshere.. and as for rory the dj dont know if he knew alot about football or not but he really got the crowd going.. he even got my hubby up breathing fire outside and normally my hubby just drinks and takes everthing in/.. and rory as for your singing hope your not still singing barbie girl on your own dont you know its a duet... and danni keep up the good work serving those drinks you can run that bar on your own.. see you all soon

Hi, Venue was great. Staff was very friendly. We went there mainly because of the atmosphere and we loved the freindly conversations with one of the bargirls. If you can remember us, I was one of the four burnley boys who came in every night from the 2nd july to the 8th july. One downside was the dj adding soundeffects to the songs or people passing by every 5 seconds, but everything else made up for it, We shall be back in 2005 at the same time n' we hope to see everyone there, Joe

first time to zante. The staff at the venue were very helpfull and gave us lots of information on things to see and do. They made us feel very welcome and would definatley go back.

very friendly place the only down side is the knob on the mike he knows nothing about football and just made a d**k of him self all through the england games playing sound effects over the commentory,the drinks are well priced,the staff very friendly.also try next door for excellent greek food it is also a new place.
