Ate here nearly every night. Fish is mouthwatering but then so is every meal cooked here. Koukos is a great place to eat! Their Kleftiko is the best by far! One other thing, if you're a milk drinker, their only the restaurant I found with fresh milk on the menu.

A great night out, the food was some of the best we ate. The staff are very welcoming and friendly.It gets very busy with a good few Greeks eating there so that must say some thing for the food.

Very friendly service. Excellent food. Bit busy the first night we went and our youngest fell asleep before the food came out. No problem, they just took it way and took it off the bill even though it wasn't their fault. Good choice of wines too. The Stifado was the best I have ever tasted

Try the kontasouvli (a house special)the meat just melts in your mouth. service 10/10 food 10/10 prices 10/10 staff 10/10 greek night (free) 10/10 We ate at KOUKOS every night and were never dissapointed with any aspect of the meal, our 10yr old son was treated like a star by the staff. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

We chose to eat here on a Tuesday not knowing it was Greek night. What a bonus the music and dancing was first class. Beth our 6 year old was mesmerised and loved the bit where they dance out on the roadway. Recommend the lamb chops.

I really enjoy time in Koukos. All people were friendly and very lovely. One man stayed before the restaurant and he was swunging to all going around. He was also friendly and promty. The food was great, and also the wine was sweet and very smack. So I only can recommed you this restaurant, you will enjoy staying there.

I CANNOT BELIEVE SO MANY NEGATIVE COMMENTS COULD BE ABOUT THE SAME RESTAURANT WE WENT TO FREQUENTLY IN OUR HOLIDAY THE STAFF WE VEERY POLITE AND FRIENDLY AND STELLA GOT ENGAGED WHILST WE WERE THERE AND WE SHARED IN HER NITE LIKE FRIENDS . THE FOOD WE FOUND WAS EXCELLENT AND WE CONSIDERED IT TO BE A REASONABLE PRICE IT CANNOT BE A BAD PLACE WHEN YOU CONSIDER THAT IT IS THE LOCAL GREEKS THAT EAT THERE MOST NITES AND IF ITS GOOD ENOUGH FOR THE LOCALS WELL ENOUGH SAID REALLY .........

If you like everything fried, with chips and overpriced then this is the place for you. The only plus side is the greek dancing but this isn't so great if you are trying to eat in the middle of it all. Bill comes written in Greek with lots of added costs ( I think I must've paid for all the dancers drinks! )

just recently returned from zante, went to Koukos last year on our reps welcome meal, the rep katy was fabulous, she made the meal, funny and gave all the kiddies free drinks!! Dont think the rep had anough energy this year for anything!! Koukos does fantastic food and at agreat price, this is the best greek restaurant in the whole of Zante, the owner Paniotis is great, and all the staff are friendly and helpful, i would definatly recommend this restaurant!

Good food, best value in town, and Spriros, Costas, Sorbas, Stavros and Darius always made us feel welcome !

Excellent for authentic Greek food, and reasonably priced

Good authentic Greek food, combined with unauthentic Greek service i.e. good. Nice quiet restaurant. Try the set meals as you get the chance to try several dishes.

I cannot believe the negative comments about this resturant, are they sure they were in and talking about the same resturant I was in!!! the staff were brilliant and their recommendations were spot on, they did not rush you, and in a traditional Greek manner, no-one was hurried and you could sit and relax after a meal, without being ushered out to make room for anyone else. we enjoyed this resturant that much that we ate there every night and the only night we didnt, it was not a patch on the food we were used too. The Greek night on a Tuesday was far superior to the Greek Night we paid £46 for through Manos, with the exception of the sunset, and the food was much much better at Koukos without a doubt. We will have no hesitations acout going back there when we return to Tsilivi, hopefully next year!

The worst meal of the holiday..... Lamb- just the worst bit of meat, and bone and gristle, I've ever had. More un edable than edable. There are better, avoid it.

We loved this restaurant, it was traditionally Greek and the dancing and mandolin playing on a Tuesday was well worth seeing! The food was superb, so much so, having said we were going to eat somewhere different every night we decided to go back to Koukos on our last night in Tsilivi. We weren't disappointed!

Greek , a little quieter than most.

One of the better "in town" establishments with a more genuine Greek feel than some of the others.Seemed very popular on Greek night.

IF YOU WANT TO SAMPLE A GREEK NIGHT THAT IS NOT TO OVER THE TOP THEN KOUKOS IS THE PLACE TO BE ON A TUESDAY NIGHT.

I think other comment must be for somewhere else. This was one of the few places in TSILIVI you will be happy if you are looking for Greek. Their TUESDAY night GREEK NIGHT was excellent, dancing and live GREEK music from 7.30 to past 12.00. The meal for two, many starters and main courses with wine 3000 drx a person. THE WHOLE FAMILY (15) voted this the best. Best get there early as fills up.
