 The food was excellent - It should be, they have a top chef...

Just returned from my 3rd trip to Zante. Each year we have eaten at this resaurant but this time was the worst I have known it. The food was poor compared to many other cheaper places (ie the green frog) and the waiting staff are only interested in you if they can see that you will be spending alot of money with them. There are better places in Argassi for the money !!

  Hi everyone, I've just arrived home from argassi a few days ago and i have to say my only regret was not finding this restaurant earlier, The two irish waitress Val and Laura were a pleasure to be served by,they were courteous and quick, Kevin the maitre'd was great always something funny to say as for the food i hold my hands up to Dimitre the chef we had a birthday while there and he went out of his way to accomodate us with anything we wanted . All in All it was our pleasure to have eaten there and I would strongly reccomend it !!!!!!!!!

we ate here already twice and im totally surprised at the comments ive read that people have left. we were all totally happy with the meal we had and i can recommend the mousaka. the waiters are all friendly and nothing is too much bother, i would say to anyone reading this message, dont be put off by prevous peoples reviews, eat there yourself and see. its not really expensive either. give a try as until you dont you wont know what you are missing......i would recommend it to anyone

To be quite frank, this place is utter, utter crap.

We visited this restuarant two years ago and it was a completley different experiance the chef from that time has obviousley left. The food was disgusting and the staff gave the impression that we were a pain by just sitting down. The prices were extortionate for such crap that I would'nt even feed the barking dogs

very welcoming, and must have improved the food from when others have been, as the roast chicken and greek style potatoes were gorgeous!

Oh dear, what an experience... The English guy working here (the one with
the pony-tail) was too busy checking that the waiters weren't ripping him off to
worry about his customers... All our meals arrived at different times, our 10
year old daughter had the pleasure of finishing her pizza 30 minutes before
our meals even arrived...

dont ever eat here, its expensive, the PR outside says that they can cater for everyone, this is not true.
me and my family ate there, if you have never tried sword fish try it some where else as it was like eating a sweaty sock. the beer is warm.
the waiters cant understand a word of english.

Service incredibly poor despite few people eating there,wrong meal served,wrong wine served then wrong childrens dessert,although it did have a sparkler in it!!Mixed grill napalmed and "steak" was a burger in heavy chargrilled disguise.Other meals not too bad and boy are those seats comfy(Pity you could not eat them)

I would like to thank the Stasantas for excellent food, service and low prices during our vacation. We tried some other places to, but in the end we always kept comming back. Wuld like to thank all the employes, and especially Kevin and Achillies.

In reading the comments from prior customers I agree that in prior years this restaurant was not up to much. I have been coming to Argassi for 8 years. I went to Stasantas the first year of opening in 2002. This year though I found a tremendous change. The view of the Shell Garage has been screened by a feature stone wall with plants closing the gaps. The colour scheme inside makes things look a lot cleaner & brighter. The lady on the door Irene has a wonerfull manner, and is no way intimidating like most others outside the local restaurants. The food this year is excellent and the waiters and management very friendly, curtious and very professional. Three cheers for the changes. It needed it. And in my opinion has got to be the tops now in Argassi.

Ate here one night. The service was fine and the food was ok but it was an overdose on carb's. I'm not picky with food by far, but to have a plate containing rice, chips and a jacket potato is imo OTT!

Honestly guys... ditch either the chips or the jackets that you put on most plates, its waaay too much. Also ditch the photo menu, it was hard to pick a meal when you couldn't tell exactly what it was, this is off-putting and makes it feel like Mc Donalds. You can't charge the prices you do if the experience isn't up to much.

Make these few changes and it will be a good place to eat.

Note: The food itself and service was fine, just needs working on.

Best restaurant in town Argassy, trust me it's treu, iám a cook.

After eating at 14 restaurants in 14 nights, this had to be the worst place we visited! Our order took an hour to come (I wouldn't mind but there were only eight tables occupied!)and when it arrived it was more than disappointing.... A must to miss!

we found this place to be amazingly professional. the food and service were great and the price's weren't too bad.

personally i would strongly recomend this place to anyone visting Argassi

We went here twice on our holiday, the seats are nice and comfy, the view isn't up to much - petrol station!! The food was nice and the menu was easy to choose from as there is pictures so you know what it looks like before you buy!

We ate there a few times before the opening night, we had a great time. Would like to thank Kevin and George for making our nights wonderful and for making us feel very very welcome.

Pity we had to miss the fireworks !!!!!! Even though we were delayed and sat in the airport lol should cheer you up no end Kevin. Thanks for making us laugh and thanks for the resevered table and the good time, hope you have a great summer and look forward to seeing you really soon. x

I just wanted to say hi to everyone (Stav, Afrodite, and Costas) I was working there last summer back and forth between Laganas and Argassi and was thinking about coming back but don't have a phone number to call you. Looks good from the road - but dont be fooled .. Nice grass umbrellas over tables, soft comfy seats, oil lamps - everything to make it very attractive. Sadly, we had a bad meal, and the service wasn't up to much - even on a quiet night.

We have just returned from a two week holiday in Argassi. We ate at this resturant a total of six times two of which the chef went out of his way to cook us traditional Greek food, which was out of this world. The staff especially Kevin and Dimitri were exceptionally friendly and we wish them good look for the future. Kind regards Chris & Sue
