Once again another fab meal in lovely surroundings, thanks Kev for once again organising a night here!!! Just glad it wasn't at midnight again!!! The cheese pies drizzled with honey were gorgeous, and the stuffed pitta very tasty, but OMG, how big was it?!!!!!!!!!! Andrews steak was fab, all in all a great night out, we will be back next June
Took 16 friends here for my 40th birthday, what can i say, still the best place i've eaten in on the island. Gave them pre warning of the dishes ordered and the food was amazing. i've eaten in top restaurants in london and this could easily compete but with prices 4 times less than i paid in london.
My partner and i went here after being told about the place by an English guy on top of the Keri cliff!!
What an awesome restaurant, it's slightly more expensive than the one's in kalamaki town but well worth it, they only have around 15 items on the menu, as the waiter said, they keep it simple and perfect each dish.
We arrived there around 9pm on a saturday night and the place was empty, by 10 it was full of Greek people, i always say that if it's good for the locals then it sure is the place to be.
I had 'Chicken B on my mind' and my partner had another chicken dish, both amazingly cooked, i had rice with mine, she had crinkle cut home made fries which were lovely.
The toilets were by far the most impressive i have ever seen on the island.
Best meal of the holiday by far and will definately be going back to Gastro Nomi
I think Lesley, comment below, has summed it up perfectly as we were the friends they were with It's definitely the place for a very special evening and worth every euro I would recommend a cab from Kalamaki as its quite a walk especially for us girls wearing heels! We will definitely be going again.
Enjoyed a meal here with friends, following a couple of drinks on the terrace of the Strada Marina hotel in Zante Town, which made for a lovely evening. The food was very good, the service excellent and the surroundings very impressive. This is not your "usual" Greek restaurant, it is however PERFECT for a treat or a special occasion, the sort of restaurant that Kalamaki has needed for a while. We would highly recommend a visit, but it is more expensive than the other restaurants in the area, and the menu more diverse than most Greek taverna type establishments. We would go again, but probably not this September as we are only in Kalamaki for a week.
To have a quick look at Gastronomy click on this link. Its 200 metres past Michealos as your leaving Kalamaki.
have beenr eading good comments about this place on the message board, so will give it a try...But where is it exactly??
went here late too but was no problem even late at night it was still busy. great decor and very classy toilets. was expecting it to be a little on the expensive side but was very reasonable and the food was great.
Only ate here once, VERY late one night (thanks Kev for organising it!!!!). The decor is stunning, the food sublime and the staff sooooo helpful. We will definitely be back, at an earlier time lol, next June to eat here again. The fillet steak (according to "the husband") was absolutely fantastic, and my stuffed pitta, whilst being HUGE, was extremely tasty. The bread and dips were FAB too
