we loved it loads and all the people were great and amazing! jimmy is sooo lovely and especialy his cousin DENIS!! theo is a lovely man! the swimming pool was lush and relaxing. all the people around there are all very friendly. as well jimmy snack bar had wonderful milkshakes there the best around. if i got another chance to go again we would it was the bestest hoilday ever.the bar at night time was fun. the apartment we stayed in was very clean and cosy. we had great neighbours, they was top banana. we loved it so much thank you jimmy and your family for the best hoilday ever! love ya! (we r kids by da way and there is no drugs around or in the place so stop lying)xxxx

Me and my boyfriend have just returned from what we can only call as our best holiday ever. We arrived to be greeted by Jimmy and his family who were wonderfull. We stayed in the Soula Apartments,our room was clean and spacious with everything you could possibly need for a self catering holiday. The pool and surrounding area was clean and well kept with plenty of sun loungers (Didn't have to run out at 6.00 in the morning with a towel to reserve one). We met some great friends who have returned year after year to Jimmy's and we will now be doing the same, you just fall in love with the place. One thing and this is in response to Val's Comments (25/06/2004)we were at the apartments the same time as you and we saw no such thing as drug taking or any signs of drugs and as for Jimmy putting off his regular customer's, I dont think so, me and 10 others are returning again next year. Thank you Jimmy and Family for a Holiday we will never forget.

no glen and carron arnt there, garry from the pie shack is. they still work in town so you could eaisily contact them wile there. i cant remeber where they are but garry knows

We have been to Theo now for the past two years in May and loved it. Having had a baby this year in March we hope to go back perhaps in September. However, can anyone let me know if Glen and Carron still work at Oscars Bar as they made our holiday and would only like to return if they are still there. If not does anyone know how they can be contacted? Thank You

we have been staying at the above apartments for 7 years now.
this year we stayed at the Selini - still part of the complex.
Unfortunately since it opened 2003, it has become full of
screaming/unruly kids Some of the 'guests' decided that it was a
good idea to smoke pot and take other substances and leave
the kids in the room unattended whilst they visited Oscars bar,
then crawl back hours later. OR AM I BEING TOO HARSH HERE.

Jimmy has certainly put people off going back, especially hIs
regulars. I love kids, but feel it is not my responsibility to be
concerned if these parents decide to put their kids in danger,
come to that, others as well. The Tompsons reps have been told
not to interfere - even if kids are left in the rooms alone. As for the
drugs hey watch this space.

Hello, im going to the apartments in 3 weeks just wondering if anyone can give me some advice on the best places to eat/drink and visit when im there?

we are visiting in 10days time and just wondered if anyone could tell me if i can get a map or idea of where teh apartments are as we have a car hired from the airport and i havent got a clue whereabouts the apartments are.

and what do the studios have in them, i dont suppose they have a tv do they? my brothers question!

we went to sellini studios last year in june an its was red hot an we needed air-con, i was wondering if any one had been before in may as were goin towards the end of may this yr an i would like to no if air con or a fan is need? thanks for the help!!!

Please could you tell us roughly how long the walk is to the beach and to the nearest bars and does any body know how far the koukanaria appartments are from the Theo apartments as our friends are stopping there.

what is interesting for teenagers at the appartments and in alykes generally

We have been going to Zante now for 4 years,three years at Laganas and 1 at Alikes,but have known jimmy+family for 4 years,and they have always made us feel really welcome(great hosts),This year was the best yet stayed in the soula,which are very clean,spacious,and well equipped(a special thankyou to Maria,for cleaning up after me)..The pool is great,as is Jimmy's pizza's(lovely),and the pool+evening bar..This is a great place for all,familys,couples,everyone is always really friendly,had some great nights this year..Jimmys Birthday what a night(what a cake)..Well we've already booked up for next year,and can't wait..Looking forward to seeing you all again,for another great holiday,well,see you all in the summer
P.S Jimmy you can be my best man,IF i decide to ask her lol,and i would like room 1 if that's ok..

We had a wonderful time at Sellini Apts. Jimmy and his family could not have been more helpful and friendly. The guys who run the bar are absolute diamonds. Did the guy who says he is obese mean "obtuse"? We'll be back!

Perhaps the obese guy would have benefited from the half hour walk to the beach!!!!

As an obese holidaymaker I found it ridiculous that I was charged extra for my burgers. They were only the same size as anyone else's!! Also I had to pay a deposit for my sun-lounger "in case I broke it" I was told by Jimmy.

Better late than never.
My boyfriend and myself spent two weeks at the Sellini apartments at the end of May this year. It was the first time we had been to Zante but thanks to Jimmy and the gang it won't be our last.
The brochure we booked from said it was small and friendly and my how friendly it was. It felt like a home from home.
As a wee 30 something, I found it hard to keep up with Carron & Glyn at Oscars Bar, this is something not for the faint hearted.
It's a a great location on the outskirts of Alykes resort and is great for couples of all ages or families with young children.
The accommodation clean and a good size. The pool area and surrounding grounds clean and well maintained.
We wouldn't hesitate to return.

Myself and my partner have just returned from the theo studios and we had the most fantastic holiday! The apartment was clean and the kitchen area was well equipt with everything needed! the pool area was great and the snack bar was delicious for an lunchtime munch. jimmy is a great sport and was very helpful to us throughout our two week stay. Oscars bar on site is a great place to get chatting to people and carron and glen are absoulute gems as they stayed up till 4 am on our last night so we could all have a drink! I would highly recommend the soula/theo/sellini apartments to anyone!

after reading every body elses report i can only say it is all true, the sellini, soula, and theo apts really are home from home, if you want a relaxing holiday in exellent company then this is the place to come, my partner and i discovered this oasis eight weeks ago and are returning on fri 11 july for another helping, thank you Jimmy, Theo,Chrisse, george and maria for being perfect hosts, and a special thank you to glen and carron for being good friends

We have just come home after spending two amazing weeks at the Sellini studio's ,part of the Soula & Theo complex .This was truly the best holiday we have ever had ,the apartment was superb ,location ,cleanliness ,comfort everything we needed was catered for and more !!!
Jimmy and his family and staff made us feel so welcome ,nothing was to much trouble and their one aim is to ensure everyone has the best holiday ever !!
Oscars bar ,run so well bt Carron and Glen offer an oasis after a "hard day " by the pool and the cocktails are divine . The mini-market ,run by Chrissy and George , is wel stocked and reasonably priced ,although u won't want to do much cooking ,as the nearby Tavernas are great & Jimmy does awesome burgers ,pizza's and salads ,at the poolside snackbar . Maria ,his sidekick at the poolbar ,works tirelessly and has a smile for everyone while serving your food .
Jimmy is a font of knowledge regarding everything in Zakynthos and will advise best places to eat ,what not to miss on island and how to get there and will work endlessly to ensure you get everything you need to make a perfect holiday -------------ours was so perfect we're going back in October to see our new Gereek family again !!

Glad to hear you had a wonderful week at Sellinni. We got back Monday night after another fantastic time at Theo. We are very much hoping to return again next year. As always we were made very welcome and had a most relaxing time although a few late nights at Oscars Bar with Glen and Carron! We were obviously there at the same time and met a lot of people at the bar at night but only sat around the pool on our first and last day so did not meet you and your family. Happy holidays.

Hello Neil. Last year when we stayed at Theo, the Sellini Apts had just been finished and a few people were staying there. We had a nose around - they were modern, bright, spacious and clean. I dont think you will have any worries. They share all the facilities of Soula & Theo which includes lovely swimming pool, mini market, snack bar and Oscars Bar in the evening. We are staying again this year at Theo - we go on 26 May. Did you book with Just?

I am going to stop on the 23rd May for a week at the Sellini studios which are new, but part of the Thoe complex.
Me the wife and 2 children 1 boy 13 1 girl 9 will be going.
Please can anyone who may have stopped or seen the apartments pass on some comments and tips etc.

We stayed at the Theo Apartments for the first time last May. It was so good we are going back again this May. The setting is so idyllic. The apartments and pool are clean. Yes the poolside snack bar is expensive but at lunchtimes we just went into town for a bite to eat and drank water in our room. The evenings were always fun having a drink at Oscars Bar. Glen and Carron behind the bar were just the best and we are looking forward to having more laughs with them again this year. Top Marks

We visited Soula for two weeks last year. We found the apartments were clean and spacious. However, the attitude and general sharp practices of the management team, especially Jimmy, totally spoilt what should have been a relaxing holiday. We felt we were overcharged in his shop (ie; 3 euros for a bottle of water, 40 cents everywhere else) & were unable to leave our fan on in our rooms when we were out as the electricity supply magnet was connected to the key fob. My suggestion to all would be to avoid this place. The owner actually got physical when we brought our fan into our apartment. He tried to insist we hired it from him at an extortionate price.

My family and I lived on Zakynthos for over 5 years and we knew Jimmy and his family nearly all that time. They are Canadian greeks and owned a restaurant in Town before moving to Alykes. We spent a lot of time at his complex and always took our family there when they visited. We are going back for a holiday in June and will be seeing them ASAP. They are really lovely people and we cant wait to see themm

A nice place for a holiday is the Soula apartments. You get a bit of exercise walking to and from the beach, but it is worth it. The pool is large and lovely to swim in. Oscars bar run by Glen and Carron at night is the place to sit in until the early hours drinking. The outside pool bar during the day serves home made food of excellent quality, however soft drinks and Ice creams are a bit pricy to other places. We kept our own soft drinks in the apartment fridge and nipped back when we needed them, as Jimmy did not like you taking your own round the pool. On the whole we enjoyed our stay and would consider going back.

The Soula Apartments are up the road which led to the village of Katastari. They are quite a long way from the beach so I would think a car may be necessary.

Was lucky enough to meet Jimmy when we came to Alykes for the first time. Now we are frequent visitors. Just book a flight and phone Jimmy. Clean rooms, exremely friendly and helpful. 10 out of 10 Droog

Have just arrived back from this place in paradise. Jimmy and his mum Chris are really great friendly people nothing is too much trouble. The place lives up to Thomson Small and FRIENDLY! Highly recommended our best holiday yet. Watch out for joker Jimmy and his ice cubes and try his speciality iced coffee. Weather very hot in August but chilled out in the excellent pool with great views. We will be back!!!!!! Linda & Ray

We stayed at Soula for the first time last June (2000) and it was fabulous. We met lots of lovely people and Jimmy made our stay a delight. He has a great sense of humour and makes brilliant pizza and iced coffee. We are going back this September and cannot wait.

Have just got back and am still missing. We stayed in appartments we booked directly through Jimmy - the ower. They had lovely views of the mountains and Kephalonia. Jimmy and his mother Chris made it a holiday to remember. The place is fabulous, I can't recommend it highly enough. That was my second time and I'll be going back again.

jimmy and the family are absolute gems. we visited last summer and hope to go back this summer, we have never enjoyed a holiday as much as we did at the theo apartments. the view of the mountains from our balcony was perfect. look forward to seeing you soon jimmy boy.

Theo / Soula apts are available through Thomson Holidays, probably in their 'simply greece' brochure. They have their own swimming pool and are about 15 mins walk to the bach and resort centre.

Which company can you book through? How close to the beach are these studios? Is there a pool nearby?
