Sea View Hotel

My two sons and I have just returned from an awesome week in Sea View apartment 14. This part of Alykes is mega friendly and we were the only people we came across who were visiting this area for the first time. The Sea View Hotel was scrupulously clean and the provision was basic but to be honest I don't go on holiday to cook or watch tv! The little hob was sufficient to warm milk at bed time and to make pasta for lunch. All the utensils required were also there - colander, bread board, sharp knife, . . . We looked at other accommodation in this part of Alykes as the kids are determined to return towards the end of summer. All of the accommodation is much the same - I don't think you can go far wrong with Sea View, Paradise or the Beach Houses. The only downside is getting the availability. One thing I will say is take some heavy duty mosquito repellant. We were eaten alive while dining out in the evening. In the week we were there we didn't come across one bad taverna and we would particularly recommend the Virago Bar for cocktails, The Apollo for evening meal and The Paradise poolside bar for lunch.

Very clean, self catering apartments with beautiful views across turquoise waters to Kefalonia and just a few seconds walk to the beach. With use of the pool bar next door and a super market a short walk away, this is an ideal base from where to explore the rest of Alykes, we loved it here and would recommend it to anyone.
