well got back 1-9-06 friday we all miss it need to go back  all the people we there locals, holiday makers, nice people this may not be the right spelling but the guy who runs the bar  ILLIA just the best ,his wife best cook .the pool this is great for cooling of then when your wet on the outside go to the bar and get wet inside i can recomend the alpha beer as you can see this is a sun trap so loads of sun block WE HAD THE BEST TIME

hi there we are stopping at lofos in a couple of weeks, have looked at maps on internet of alykes can see lots of bars and apartments but not lofos can anyone give us an idea of the nearest bar so when we look at the map we know where about the lofos is in relation to other places. thanks steve

Just come back from the Lofos on Thursday after a 2 week stay there with my Sister and a friend. We had an apartment for 3 of us overlooking the sea. The apartment was lovely and big, huge balcony. The pool at the Lofos is the cleanest I've seen and the food at the pool bar is the best ever. I would definitely go back to the Lofos next year. They are the best apartments location wise as they are on the main road into Alykes and only about 5 minutes down a slight slope to the main part. You can also flush the toilet paper down the toilet!! Only one of about 2 or 3 other places you can do this on the island!!

just returned from 2 wonderful weeks here have been travelling to alykes for nearly 10 years and this accomodation is by far the best

We've stayed at Lofos for the past 2 years and have really enjoyed and will be back again this year  studios were clean, pool clean and agree with all comments made previously. It is situated just outside the centre of town about 5 minutes walk to the beach and an array of eating places. would recommend

Nicos who runs the bar is an absolute star.  Great sense of humour and he speaks excellent English.  Nothing is too much trouble for him and he'll stay open until the last person goes to bed - which was often very late!  Try the breakfasts, served by "Breakfast Boy" Rob, they'll keep you going all day.  We stayed at Lofos and loved every minute.

Great location 5 mins from beach and main drag.  Room was excellent - very clean, frequent towel and linen changes.  Lovely pool, very clean.  Nicos who runs the bar made our holiday.  Great guy with excellent sense of humour and nothing too much trouble.  Highly recommended.

had a superb time again,rooms very good breakfasts second to none.niko spot on,nigel was not too bad either.already booked again for next year.

Got back from Lofos last week. Just want to say I agree with Nigels comments. Great time had by all. Nikos is a star (but not very good at 'Chase The Ace'). The Welsh contingent will probably go back next year.

just back from lofos, and had a wonderfull time. rooms are great and spotless, with maid every day and regular towel and linen changes. food excellent with reasonable prices. nikos who now runs it is a great guy, very funny, and speaks excellent english. we will definately return.

we just returned again from alykes and we also went in the lofos bar to find that sakis worked there we also met him 2 years ago at the iris bar .... well done sakis and annas marrage and there lovely daughter hope to see u next year xx

stakis the owner is lovely makes you feel welcome, very clean the food was great if you go you must try the sexy sauce!!! IT WAS GREAT

Many thanks to Sakis and Anna for making our stay at the lofos in Alikes so enjoyable. Highly recommended.... excellent cocktails and a superbly presented accomodation! The best cocktails in Alikes (the sexy greek recommended)!!!!!! And sakis, if you are reading, my wife Anna says thanks for finding doctor colos! ;-). Ideal location, short walk to beach and tavernas. Pool very very clean, safe and well maintained. TOP MARKS!!

We stayed at the Lofos only last week and had a really good time there. The Lofos is about 5 minutes (if that) walk from the main Alykes "drag" and beach.
The room was really clean - they cleaned it every day.
Our room had a long balcony overlooking the pool (see the photos).
We would definitely stay there again.

We had a great time here in May. We were made very welcome. The apartments were clean, the maid service was good if a bit early in the day.

Try the breakfast its very good.

Great location just a few minutes walk from the main bars and tavernas. There is also a good bar on site with a large selection of cocktails.

We are now planning to return to the Lofos again this year. We were there in July/August last year and twice the year before. Everyone is so friendly and they make you feel really welcome. The apartments are clean and bigger than most places. Foods is excellent and the pool great. Near enough to town without being in the middle of everything. Exotica Bar is in easy staggering distance for last drinks at night - brilliant owner & staff. Supermarket although tiny sells just about everything. Can't wait to return. Love to all at the Lofos.

We had a fabulous holiday staying at Lofos Studios, the location was perfect and the people were really friendly. We had a huge balcony with views over the mountains and the sea ( I recommend getting up at 7 to see the sun rise over Alykanas... you can always doze on the beach later!) Cleanliness was much better than expected, better than I've experienced in Greece before; big white fluffy towels too!! Pool area great for relaxing and well looked after.

We and our three sons really enjoyed our stay at the Lofos in August. Perfect location for beach, resort centre and an easy stagger from the Iris bar. Staff friendly & helpful. If large towels are important to you, take your own - Lofos only issues one small hand towel each, mean even by Greek standards. Anti mosquito measures also important - Alykes is the mossy capital of the world! Don't let that put you off though - it's a great place with pleasant atmosphere.

I went in May with my wife and our 9-month old daughter - the place was fantastic! Close enough to the centre, without being right in the middle of all the noise. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was better than we were expecting, the pool was always clean, breakfast was top notch, and within staggering distance was the Exotica Bar !! Well done !!

Loved the huge balcony and location, and the older lady who works there is great. The only problem I had was the cleaner seemed to rarely clean or room, and only changed the sheets 3 times in 2 weeks- not good when its really hot.

The pool here is really nice and the staff in the bar are very friendly.

We stayed at the Lofus apartments in september for a week and found them very good. The rooms where clean and very roomy these where the largest rooms that we stayed in at any apartments in alykes, and we have stayed in alykes 9 times so far. You do get a little noise from the road but you do anywhere. The pool was always very clean and the staff where very pleasant and did not bother you they just let you get on with your holiday. It was so pleasant we are returning in june for two weeks.

Iam going to stay at the Lofos Studios in september and I hope somebody could say something good about them as I saw them when I was in ALYKES in june and they looked alright with thanks paul.

We stayed at The Lofos apartments with Olympic. I would STRONGLY advise people NOT to book this. The owners were rude and unhelpful and the early return flight meant you would be kicked out at noon on the day before.
