McDonalds

Maccy D's was shut when we were there due to not having a licence. I wish it had been open coz 'there's nothing quite like a McDonalds'!

Got back yesterday. I don't eat from McDonalds myself but my mates do. It was only open 1 day out of the 7 we where staying. Also keep away from the curry/chinese!

I went to Tsilivi with a few of my friends and Mc Donalds was shut then. Speaking to a few people who i work with who went to Mc Donalds while it was open, said that it spoilt their holiday. they came to Tsilivi to get away from this kind of thing!

The McDonalds was closed because they were told to get a licence.. or something like that and they never bothered, so they were forced to close a while ago.

wots up wi maccy d's???? i dont c wot evre 1's got against it myself!....ppl dont complain bout d macdonalds in britain n there are far more here than there,....maccy d's is a worldwide company so y shouldn't they have 1 in zante??....the onli complaint i av about it woz dat me n ma m8s woke up wi a hangova wi an urge 4 a macy d's.....we walked all d way there n it was shut.....it was shut 4 d remainder week ov ma hol....due 2 not having a license i think! dats wot i woz told n e way.........so when u have all come 2 yr sences n realised there is nuffin wrong wiv maccy d's u'l all stop complainin bout it n shoove a big mac down ya throat lol!!!!!!!.......thanx 4 readin dis!!! sal xxx ......p.s "im lovin it" lol

Fortunately it was still shut down the whole time we were there (came back October 5th).

i arrive in a couple of weeks can anyone tell me has macdonalds closed down or wot im comming back for my ninth time so hope its gone by the time i get there

It was never open during the 2 weeks I stayed (17th - 31st August 2003)

I don't like McDonalds but if the people of Tsilivi do then fair enough.

It is still closed. But get some perspective. Tsilivi is hardly an unspoil "village". Greek food is available but most of the restuarants sell very un Greek food. The main street could be any holiday resort with Car hire ,Fake china shops, lilo's and very English style bars, So lets not pretent McM's is a blot on the land scape

The best thing about this place was that is was SHUT.
Long may it stay that way.

I go on holiday to get away from places like this! For gods sake let it stay closed.

The very best thing about this blight on the scenery was the fact that due to having no licence to trade it was shut. Why not Give the kids a break from junk and let them try proper food? They can fill their bloaty little bodies with sugar and lard when they get home.

If kids dont like Greek food, don,t take them to Zante.

Just to let everyone know the place was shut down about a week and a half ago due to not having a liecense. Tragic

we loved mcdonalds its great for the kids who dont like all the greek food. the large fries are way bigger than in the uk for the same price well worth it for the kids so shut up if ya dont like it.

This place must go it ruins the village.Come on you locals lets do something. there are great restuarants in Tsilivi, Mcdonalds is not one of them!!

staff were extremely friendly, kids loved it my sister lost her bag with passports here the staff were great luckily it was handed in
yes it is a shame big macs have arrived in this lovely place but it keeps the kids happy so it must be a good thing

We have been going to tsilivi for the past 6 years,and are going in august this year, each time we go it is getting busier,last year it was a disco now they have opened a stupid macdonalds. Soon it will become just like laganas. if people want macdonalds stop in britain, if you want greek food come to greece.please dont develop this resort anymore or i will be looking for somewhere quieter

WHY OH WHY??????? WE HAVE BEEN REGULARS IN TSILIVI OVER THE LAST COUPLE OF YEARS AND WERE DISAPPOINTED BY THE ARRIVAL OF MCDONALDS IN TSILIVI. JUST LIKE HOME I BET LOADS OF RUBBISH CLUTTERING UP OUR ENVIRONMENT. WHY DIDN'T THE LOCALS OBJECT?

It is a friendly place with good people and very good prices in food.It's a beautiful idea to build a McDonald restaurant here in Tsilivi.Also visit the McDonald restaurant in Lagana.I was there yesterday and it was great.My only wish is to put some breakfasts.

only wish it was opened when we first got there.as we would have saved a load of money. it worked out same as (uk)prices. kids loved their happy meals and we loved our mega meals. cheaper than eating any where else as you didn't have to tip and you didn't get that dry bread pushed in your face. staff was great. place very clean. Just loved it....

If your children are not happy with Greek food, McDonalds always comes in handy. Staff were friendly, but it does look out of place in such a pretty town! The menu is the same as here!

WHY WHY WHY is Mc donalds in that lovely place. They must have made an offer that somebody could not refuse. Spoils it.

Was GUTTED to see that the American Trash Food empire has stamped its foot in such a beautiful place. Please anyone who visits Tsilivi avoid it if only in the hope that it may go away. Plus the only rubbish that I saw in Tsilivi consisted mainly of McDonalds wrappers .. does that answer any questions as why it should remain. Surely there is enough employment and I am sure better wages to be had than in McDonalds!! If you want trash stay at home and go down to your local Golden Arches or KFC.

it is a very beautiful place.The people that working are great and very polite!!

Usual Ronald Mc Donald offering, but no breakfasts. A place to sit in the shade on a sweltering day and enjoy a chocolate ice cream sundae!

I am going back to tsilivi next week and I am hoping tha this is a cruel and very nasty joke, if the british eat in here they may as well stay at home

We think it is very good idea to have McDonald's at Tsilivi. The service is excellent and the staff was very friendly.

i like very much mc donald's here in tsilivi and it is very good for the place that there is a mc donald's resturant in tsilivi

AVOID IT AND YOU NEVER KNOWIT MIGHT GO AWAY.......I HATE TO SAY IT BUT IT COULD BE THE BEGINNING OF THE END

What an insult to the good folk of Tsilivi to have this abomination planted in their High Street.
