my dads friend knows th owner so we went there quite a few times it waz lovely and the people who work there are really friendly!
This was the second restaurant we ate at on our holiday. We found the seivice ok but not the best. The waiters seem a bit grumpy, or maybe they were having an off day, but when we started to speek a little greek that we new they perked up a bit. For starter i had fried feta cheese which was lovely, (i love cheese) and my boyfriend had choped sausages with onions feta cheese in a tomato sauce and aubergines, we always swap our starters when we have half so we get to try everything and this was lovley.
We had a bottle of med-sweet wine but found that it was too sweet, so if your like me and cant stand dry wine but prefer medium then always go for medium-dry wine its not so sickly i found this in a couple of restaurants. Solomos red medium-dry (local wine) is really easy to drink. For our main we had a lamb kleftika which was wonderful, it was so full of flavour, but we noticed that the portion at this restaurant were not as generous as other restaurants, and they didnt set our foil wraps alights like they did at a few other restaurant that we had seen, but it still tasted good. We felt that we were being a little rushed here as soon as they took our starter away you could count to twenty and our main arrived, we prefer to take our time when we have a meal after all we only go away once a year. But still the food tasted good enough. The price was good, but the service could of been better
Myself and fiance have just returned from 2 weeks in Tsivili. We visited Nemesis three times and had a great meal every time. Went with another couple, one of whom is a vegetarian and there was a great selection of food. We were well looked after and there was a great selection of food - both tradional Greek dishes and also the old english favorites. Try the beef stamnas - Its great!! Would definately recommend this restaurant for a meal out - very reasonably priced and the desserts are great.
Excellent! Excellent! Excellent! Food is fresh, delicious, and cooked to order. Varied menu caters to all tastes. Service is personal, making you feel at home. The location is perfect, on the busy nightlife strip in downtown Tsilivi. Easy to find. Intimate restaurant setting. We ate here several times during our stay and were never dissapointed. A must during your stay!
TIS VERY GOOD
WENT THERE 4 MY BDAY
DONT GET THE FISH PLATTER AS MY BRO HAD THAT N IT WOZ LIKE 4 PLATES!
V BIG!
Absolutely fantastic. We found it very difficult to understand why Nemesis only received 6/10. It deserves at least 10/10! The atmosphere was conducive to return every night (we did 5/7!) The food was fantastic, as was the service and attention to detail. You felt welcomed and were treated as an old friend.
Carole and Tania had a great holiday in Tsilivi 5th October 2004 and we ate at the Nemesis Taverna several nights. All the service was excellent, the food was excellent and everyone was very friendly. Special thanks to Denis who paid us special attention! Will go back again and again.
We ate here about 5 times and each time our meals and the service were EXCELLENT. All the waiters made a fuss of our children (5 & 10). Nothing was too much trouble. Excellent value for money and a very good menu.
Im 15 and we went to tsilivi in august this year and Nemesis is GREAT. we went there every night and the food was excellent and the prices were really cheap. But the best thing was the waitors they were really good company espesually sakis but known as Dennis, they even came out with us to plannet pub after they had finished work. we went every night and on our last day they gave us free drinks. and we're going back next year
We loved Nemesis. We came here on the first and last nights of our holiday, and it was my favourite restaurant! The food was delicious, well presented and very reasonably priced. Also the waiters were very friendly and willing to help. Couldn't be better
Excellent restaurant, try the Souvlaki
The service was very polite and friendly and all the dishes I've taken were excellent. I give Stifado 5 stars!
We ate here three times in a week, and we tried popeyes and the family restaurant, but this one we liked this one the best.
The Jack Daniel's steak was lovely.
the food was gorgeous especially the spaghetti bolognaise. the last time we went was on our last night in june but from the comments i have read it has changed since? if i am right please email me in telling me what has change? sportybabe89@hotmail.com.
on our last nice i had spag bol and it was lovely and as it was our last night they gave us 8 drinks on the house.
We went to nemisis on teh recommendations of a couple of people on various message boards but tehy must have gone before the new people took over. When we went the restaurant wasn't overly busy - about half the tables were in use but the waiters were all running round as if it was manic! They took around 45 minutes to bring the starter which was expensive and tasted terrible. Then eventually they bought the main course - a pizza. It was awful and tasted horrible. it made me feel ill. Over all i'd say avoid until they get themselves sorted. i went at the beginning of june so maybe it will get better.....
Be careful........be very careful. The previous owners Sakis and Trudi have now sold out. the restaurant are still plying ther name of Nemesis but if you know whats good for you stay away..... It is not a patch on the original.... a greast shame as it was one of our family favourites
The food was excellent when it arrived.
It took 35min for a Greek salad to arrive. We would have left lick other did had we not eaten the bread and had a beer.
The meal took over 2 hr for 2 courses each.
For the first part of our holidays it was closed being refurbished. It has now reopened but, we have been told, under new ownership.
We did not go in so cannot comment on the food, but the old "special of the day" board was not there.
Visiting this resaurant was a memorable part of our holiday. The staff were extremely friendly and the service was excellent even when busy. We would recommend it to anyone.
We went to Tsilivi in August this year - this is the cheapest restaurant in Tsilivi - unfortunately we only found it in our second week! The portions are massive and excellent value for money. The service is average, but be prepared to wait when the restaurant is busy - well worth it though - A massive thumbs up!
Ate here twice, food was excellent on both occasions. Chicken Souvlaki was fantastic and so was the Jug Beef!. Jacket Potatoes here were fantastic. Complimentary drinks were a nice gesture. Service was okay.
This was an outstanding restaurant in all respects. Excellent food! You must try their Lamp Kleftiko - brilliant. We ate there every night of our fortnight.
really enjoyed the steak here everyone in party rated it
Tried this place on the recommendation of other guests at our hotel. Although the portions were very large indeed and catered for children well, found this place to be over-rated and poorly prepared. The lamb tasted old and the calamari too chewy for my liking. If you want a meal for four with drinks for under 40 euros, then this is the place to be, but a gourmet delight, this is not. Only for the guests that are easily pleased and do not consider food quality to be a main priority on holiday!
We ate there 10 out of the 14 nights we stayed ar Tsilivi. Tried different greek dishes, especially on the specials board. Always good and good size portions. Staff we excellent and friendly. Would certainly recommend eating there.
We ate their once and found it an extremely good meal, they even surprised us at the end by giving my family complimentary drinks, good quality and value, thank you.
we were there with our 4 young children and they couldn't have been more helpful. The portions were a good size and the meals were roasting hot for a change. Good value for money and a free spirit for us and kiddies cocktail after the meal, would recommend !
I meant 2003
After 6 years of visiting and going back next year Nemesis is by far the best. If you go, tell Trudi, that Phil, Julie, sophie and Emma send their love and will see them in May 2004
we ate here 1st night and tried several others but ended up back here for the last 4 night.1st class service every time, food faultless, great prices(2 course for 4 with soft drinks and wine never exceeded £23)and a free shot every visit.going back next may and will eat here at least every other night(you`ve got to vary it a bit havn`t you)but there`s so many.
Back three times this year. The first meal (kleftico)was a bit dissapointing but the other two were back to normal. Very good food and value.
We visited Tsilivi from 12th Sept until 19th and we ate at Nemesis 7 evenings out of 7. Had wonderful meals, especially the fillet steak, but the meal to die for was the lobster. Never, ever in our lives have we had such a wonderful, presented meal. Thank you all so much, for the excellent friendly service, you made us feel so special. Will see you all again next year and hopefully it will be for 28 evenings out of 28. Best wishes to all at Nemesis, until next year. Moira and Colin Minett
Absolutely excellent! Very friendly staff, great service, great food. What more can I say?! Except ... try the Tuna stuffed tomato for starters, it was gorgeous! The Nemesis special ice-cream was lovely too. Avoid the peppered steak (stringy), but the pastas were tasty and the chocolate cake was nice and light. The only place we went where we got aperatifs on the house at the end. We even went there for breakfast one day and that was good too! Very convenient to the Tsilivi Beach Hotel too. Highly recommended.
ivan, linn, saki, and yianni, trudy and all the staff will make sure you never forget the wonderful expierience, value for money and the warmest welcome in tsilivi. see you all next year. linus xx
A good place to eat. Friendly staff, good food all freshly cooked, and the prices are just so cheap. If you are looking for a nice quiet drink after the meal with no loud music blaring away then go to Stus bar attached to the resturant. This comment is not from Peter but from Sue unable to change name.
Excellent food and the staff were very helpful and friendly.I would definately recomend it to anyone visiting Tsilivi.
Eat here 12 nights out of 14. Food always excellent cooked too order. A must for any holiday maker looking for good food and prices. 3 course meal with drinks and tip all for £20 who could ask for more.
Very nice, prompt and helpful service and the food was excellent.
The food, the staff, the service ....... Who could ask for more? Excellent!
The food was great and staff were friendly. If you go there look at the back of the menu to find Greek Mythology. I found out the explanation for the weird names of the main characters in the film Face/Off (or am I dim for not knowing where they came from in the first place??!)
We ate here twice. Nice atmosphere, spacious and the food was yummy. Baclava a must!
excellent food, very efficient and helpful staff well worth a visit
Ate here twice. Very good service from attentive staff & nice spacious seating. Ice cream served with sparklers for a nice touch!
Excellent service - drinks kept on coming. Food refreshingly down to earth.
Went there the first night (up the road from Tsilivi Beach Hotel) and returned twice in a week!!! Food is very good (recommend lamb kefliko and swordfish steak), efficient service, reasonable prices
We had five evening meals here and found it to be the best value in Tsilivi. The food is excellent and the staff frendly and efficient. If you have the special of the day (starter and main course)with half litre of house wine it costs about £10.
LIZ WE NEVER PAID MORE THAN £15 POUND FOR A TWO COURSE MEAL WITH DRINKS ANYWHERE LAST YEAR IN ZANTE! THE BREAKFASTS AT NEMISIS WERE ABOUT £5 FOR TWO PEOPLE AS FAR AS I CAN REMEMBER
What sort of prices are we talking about? How much for breakfast? How much for your average evening meal (kids too)? Drinks?
good breakfasts!!
Try one of the steak meals. Nice big plates with loads of chips....lovely! Great service & a free liqueur.
A mixture of Greek and English staff that are more than willing to offer advise and help. Very close to the far end of the beach, closest to the watersports and the morning breakfasts cooked by Ivan are just the ticket!
