Excellent  good food and service. Best regards from Sweden.

Just got back and had the usual great time. Service and quality coupled with value for money. The onion Steak was something to behold.

The only thing I can say is outstanding. I’m not really one for going abroad and ordering things I can eat at home but the Ionian steak WOW!

we visited apollon several times and really enjoyed it.  The food was brilliant and the staff, Dennis and Yannis were very friendly and welcoming  We had a brilliant holiday and hope to return again next year xx

Only went here once and that was because it's opposite Dennis' Bar and it's quicker to get a drink!!  Food was nice, service was quick and friendly and we got a complimentary plate of melon with our bill, can't complain about that! 

the service here was poor with quite unhelpful staff. the food wasn't up to the standard of other restaurants in tsilivi

we ate here once while in tsilivi, the food was fine but the staff didnt seen too friendly so that put us off going again. as we were staying at razis apartments which is owned by the same family we got 10% off our bill.

The food was lovely and the service was great. We found the staff to be friendly. I had oriental chicken souvlaki  which was lovely. It was basically souvlaki with a little dish of sweet chilli sauce which really went well together! My boyfriend had a chicken stew dish.We cant remember what it was called. We will definitely be back next year.

Very friendly and we were given free wine. The food was good and at a good price. Definitely worth a visit.

Myself and fiance have just returned from 2 weeks in Tsivili. We visited the Apollon once and had a great meal. Went with another couple, one of whom is a vegetarian and there was a great selection of food. We were well looked after and were given free house wine - Very drinkable!! Would definately recommend this restaurant for a meal out - very reasonably priced and the desserts are great.

 

Have just got back from 2 weeks in Tsilivi, and the Appollon was one of the best Restruants we visited.

This place was definitly value for money. The greek food was delicious. And the staff were friendly, and the oevrall atmosphere was great..

Excellant good quality food (although I only tried the Greek dishs-Chips I can get any time.) We went on about 6 occassions and it was the farthest away from our flat! Better than Del Piero's. The Mushroom Acropol & Mushroom A' la Creme starters are a taste sensation. I doubled my body weight!! Nearly.

Now called the Apollo and re roofed with tiles - less mosquitos!
This was the best restaraunt in Tsilivi according to ourselves and our children. Costos looked after everyone personally and loves kids. The food was consistently good - try the Village Chicken! Logarisomo was about the same as everywhere else (48 euro's for 2 and 3 children) but they were so welcoming!
Also handy for Basil's Bar if your children finish before you do! They can watch the early evening Disney film whilst mum and dad finish with a 7 star brandy.

after our 3rd annual visit it was great to see the same owner and his new daughter
nothing else had changed food and service (including the dancing waiter) were the usual high standard
will be back next year

Food excellent. The specials are usually worth a try. Staff very good and attentive without being obtrusive. Very clean and reasonably price. The wine is also good.

Great place, we ate here the most during our stay in Tsilivi.

Food good, price reasonable, wine good compared with other places. Staff all friendly and never had any problems. Also the daily specials actually change each day (not the norm in Tsilivi) and are always really tasty.

Definitely recommended.

One word to sum up this restaurant - excellent - food, service, surroundings - could not fault anything - a definate must for anyone visiting Tsilivi

don,t know what the people who posted the bad comments on 25-07-03 are expecting, we have just returned from Tsilivi and ate a few times un Apollon and found it great vaue, there is a varied menu and on average our bill for four including drinks & wine was ruoghly 35 euros, try getting that at home !

The guys who owns this place ( He's the one with the mole on his face ) should understand both manners and customer service. What an attitude this guy had. My meal was not cooked correctly...Would he listen to me when I made a comment...! He tried to turn it around and say "Thast it was my taste as nobody else had complained" Tough I said are they right or am I right. Never even considered to reduce the bill. Be carful folks...they are just after money money money...Never ever again

This was the best Restaurant in Tsilivi!!! I went 3 times! The staff were very friendly and a good laugh. I just got back yesterday and I'm missing the great meals. If anyone is going soon, say hi to Yanni,in english- John (That's the guy that invites you in) for me. Say "Avrio Girl says Yassou" He might know what you mean. He was very impressed by my Greek language skills!
Very nice atmosphere, very spaced and good value for money. The prices where good, and the wine is very nice (according to my mum anyway).
Overall, this is the best service in Tsilivi (and thats saying something as everywhere is pretty good!)

Just arrived back and ate here 5 times out of out 2 weeks stay. Staff very friendly and the food was always good. Most people in our apartments came here, and 10 of us ate here on our last night. Would certainly recommend this more traditional taverna (most of the staff are Albanian!!)

We ate here every night last october. The staff were friendly, the food was excellent (and we have eaten all over the greek islands and some) even the cheap house wine in the jug was very drinkable! We are booked to go back in June and we will be using this restaurent again.

If you want fast food this is not the place to come. If you want Zycanthian and greek dishes cooked to order with fresh local ingredients then this is for you. If you order prior to 8pm you are given a small jug of local white wine (Far better than most) Kostas and his staff make you feel very welcome and APOLLON is one of the reasons we will visit Tsivili again.

Visited twice, the first was the night of the 5.2 earthquake. Food was good and price first class. The waiters were excellent with our 6 year old.

Lovely welcoming look, but looks can be deceptive, the food was o.k. but service awful in respect of dirty crockery being left and very impersonal service. Try the traditional food if you don't mind being the mozzies main meal and don't want the famous Greek hospitality.

This was the restaurant that we ate at the most during our stay in Tsilivi. Lots of Greek dishes, food excellent, prices very competitive and the staff extremely friendly. Even cut a branch off a tree because it was too low for my husband! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Did not particularly enjoy the food. It was bog standard lets-cater-cheap-food-for-the-Brits. I am myself I Brit, but was not satisfied by the quality served.

Tried the Greek food here (3 Times). Very good, reasonably priced and the service was excellent. Worth the visit.

Probably the most comfortable place we ate in - very pleasant surroundings .Staff not particularly friendly but the food was very good and reasonably priced.

The food was lovely and the service was good. We were in this restaurant on our first night. Another couple who had been noticed that the prices on the bill had been increased from the prices in the menu, as well as a round of drinks that hadn't been ordered appearing on the bill!

We had the meze for two- really good value. I liked the food, and my wife liked the Albanian waiter. When she gets back I'll ask her how it went.

If you like your food cold you will like this!

Good food, free SMALL local wine, before 8.00pm. Good choice of food and prices are reasonable.

This restaurant opened the week we were there and we were the first customers! The staff were helpful and friendly, good food and wine and good service. The price was also very good. Little David had a wonderful time here and says hello to "Silly Billy" and Kostas
