had 8 days of fun and laughter with big lyn and tiny chris then they left having sold the bar. 2 brothers run it now( one of them fancies himself as a ronnie kray type, but is more like ronnie bloody corbett) and his daughter (face like a blistered pisspot) and were doing a p**s poor job of it. apparently n.a.s.a are going to train there as there is no atmosphere whatsoever.these jokers are ruining a good bar so if you want a decent bar head up to the travellers rest or legends.

Hi does anyone know how to get in touch with Megan. She didn't work here but was in this bar alot. I think she worked somewhere on the beach but not totally sure. On the off chance you look at this site I just want you to know Meg that you talked so much sense to me i listened to everything you said to me and my life has changed because of you. i really would love to see you again you are an amazing person.

We were dragged into this bar by the children to watch the 'blockbuster films'...we were pleasantly surprised, the lady behind the bar was very friendly and the prices have to be the best on the island. Anyone taking children who get bored easily, this is the place to go at 4pm to while away 90 minutes or more till dinner time. You get to see the movies of the moment everyday except weekends, then its footie. Cheap drinks, great service. By the way cant comment on whether there were hunks or babes there as the place was always very quiet when we went.

oh my lord, what a place!!!! if there is only one stop at a bar on your hols then this is the place to go!!! the bar oozes friendliness and character, not to mention the solid hunk who struts his pert a**e up and down the bar. he's the nicest chap on the whole island and rumor has it he is hung like a mountain yak (i'd of found out too if i hadn't gone with my boring boyfriend)!!!! i cant speak more highly of the place in every aspect!!! and matt if you read this i'm coming back to find out if the rumors are true!!xx

Hi Chris and Lyn and Netti and Gordon and Baran, i have missed you all so much this past year but will be over to stay again in early July so expect me soon! I'll probably want to go again after about a week, but never mind I'm still coming! i never did say thanks for everything you did last summer, you really made me feel like one of the family and it was such a nice feeling. We stumbled across Potters Bar towards the end of our holiday, which was a real shame, wish we had found it sooner. The young Barmaid was excellent a real asset we plonked ourselves at the end of the bar drinking Fosters and Wkd and we only needed to tell her once what we were drinking and she remembered for the whole night! We even went in again three days later and she remembered what we were drinking. we never waited to be served. Excellent!

POTTERS BAR WAS A VERY FRENDIALY PLACE WENT THERE EVERY NITE OF THE HOLIDAY AND ALSO LAST YEAR STAFF ARE FRIENDLY AND THE COCKTAILS ARE LUSH

I was on holiday in Laganas for two weeks and Potters Bar became my favourite bar in town. The beer was great and the staff even better! Thanks for the hospitality Chris and Lyn. And thanks for letting me sign the Union Jack. The boys from Norway had an excellent time! Espen sends his best wishes.

Find it hard to believe that Brian Standen would have a great holiday this year in Zante at Potters Bar!! Apart from the fact he was with his wife Jayne, he was having an affair with me!!!!! Dont worry Brian, your secrets safe with me.!!!! Strange this is he told me it was a terrible holiday because he was with his wife. Some men eh? He He.

Once again a splendid week spent in Zante, most evenings more than a few drinks flowed whilst passing the time at Potters. Anybody going to Laganas, trust me this is the place to go, forget all the so called disco bars around you, In Potters bar what you see is what you get - british hospitality. A warm welcome awaits from Chris and Lynn......dont be put off by Chris's look, he is just a big teddy bear!!!

A good escape from the main drag as this bar is deceptively long! And nothing like Potters Bar in Herts, thankfully. Good place to nip into mid shopping trip, or to park the menfolk in.

Would not have looked at this website again but was advised of previous comment. It is good business sense to advertise a new venture to existing clientele, that is merely what we have done. We have been teaching people about good business sense abroad for years!! As for sacked and needing help........dream on (as our regulars are aware). "Best bar staff on the island" was the most regular comment in the establishment. Will not be lowering myself into an altercation over this, going to Indonesia shortly. Please bear in mind if we had anything to hide we could have added comment under a different name. All the best for a fun time in Zakynthos this year. We've had some great times there.

once again this is the place - to quote Chris(owner), what you see is what you get, no frills just a typically good english bar, nobody outside trying to drag you in, no need to. Anybody intending to visit Laganas next year (we are going back again) give this place a visit. Anybody wanting to know where this place is located , if you find McDonalds(ugh), it is across the road about 20 yards further up the main street. See you next year

We thought that this bar was wicked and one of the best on the island! we went heare everyday at different times and it was excellent whenever! the pool table is a must at 1 euro a game and the staff are really friendly and English...so they understand what u have orfered :-)

One of the best bars. Cocktails were great and really cheap (2.50 euros) If they don't advertise the cocktail you want, tell them whats in it and they will make it for you.

Thought Potters bar was great,the barman was totally cool as were the othere staff.We got our pics taken outside with our potters bar t-shirts on.The beer was really cheap so we keep goin back.

Been to Zante 3 times now(1st time 10 years ago). Although stayed in Kalamaki this time , could not resist the temptation to visit the best "pub" in Laganas several times. Thank God for a nice strong cocktail instead of watered down crap. Also lovely chilled Strongbow, Fosters, John Smiths this was home from home. Andy & Pam from Leeds, Chris & Lyn from Liverpool all very friendly. Definitely worth a try if you enjoy a brew!!!

Thanks gang for an excellent time in Laganas. Best John Smiths & Tetleys in town. Nice friendly atmosphere and great venue for english football. See you again in May.

9 years ago, myself and my husband-to-be, stayed in Laganas for a week. Went to Potters Bar most nights and were made very welcome, hope it's run by the same people!! Going again on Thursday, 5 July for a fortnight and I'm so excited!! Looking forward to popping into Potters again!! Jayne & Brian - Newcastle
