After visiting Mr Williams's previous Public House- The partridge Arms in Bridgnorth, Shropshire I feel I must take this oppurtunity to say how much I am looking forward to seeing his new venture in Zante. Many nights I have been in the Partridge and it has 'Kicked right off' and hoping for repeat performances in Strings bar. He is an excellent cocktail maker and also a great chef so we are all in for a treat.

hello everyone, im pleased to say i will be the new manager of strings bar for this season, opening mid april after refurbishing over winter. we will be keeping the live music going with our very band simon and halfuncle. they are a newly formed act and must be seen while your enjoying laganas! open in the morning for breakfasts and throughout the day for snacks and an escape from the hot sun. we will also be selling fancy dress for those people that have forgot their holiday party wear. looking forward to seeing many new faces, till next time, kev.

spent many nights in strings bar during the last week of october and have to say strings bar is a blast!!! everyones up for a good time and the place is as laid back as you want it to be or as crazy as you want. going back next may and cant wait to sample another rocktail and check out the sexy new bar men weve been promised for next year!!! x x x x x x

As you may have heard the regular crew will not be running the show in 2006, we have new owner/management, Kev & Gemma, great guys who are more than capable of keeping the traditions of nightly live music & great daytime food to high standard.

Great bar, great music and friendly staff, saved the holiday!!  Had some cracking nights in here, well recommended for those looking to get away from the R&B hell of the main strip.  Big thanks to Mark and the crew for some great nights, hope all goes well.

This bar is by far and away the best bar you can hope for!  The drinks are amazing including everything from Strongbow on tap to the Screaming Orgasm cocktail (and that's not forgetting the wonderful shots of various flavoured vodka)

Great bar with great staff, great cocktails (screaming orgasam) and great music. 

This is a very friendly and relaxed bar.  The bar staff are excellent and the music although gets better the more you drink...is quite good !!

We visited the bar twice on our one week holiday. the first night was Richie Valadez who was a remendous soul singer and covered all the classics. The second night was Bomba Blue(Mark and Matt) who played all the great rock guitar legends. Both nights were tremendous and they encouraged you to join in. We spoke to Mark and Matt after the show and we rate this bar very highly and if you are in the vincinity, it is a must to visit.

How do Sis, tought i would post this to say Hi, hope your keeping Mum and Dad under Control and that mr and mrs bob are having a good time. Anyone reading this, go visit Strings bar and say hi to my sis Kerry, the best bar maid on zante!!!!! im sure she will glad to make you some wierd and wonderfull concotion. Definatley the best bar in Laganas by far!!! hung out here every night and day of our holiday, great music and atmosphere!!! particularly a good place to go for couples and families as most of the bars in Laganas dont seem to have the right atmosphere for people in those categories! We really enjoyed everything about this bar.. The staff the music the cocktails the breakfasts and the burgers!!! The best place to go if the weather is slightly off during the day, they show great films. And THE place to start your nights out in Laganas, decent music before you hit the thump thump thumping of the clubs!!! lol

I loved going into strings every night the cocktails that kerry made me and my cousin were fab!!! thanks again kerry your great! The Strings Bar is the best one. The music is great, the boys can play and sing perfect. And there very nice and have great humor.

set the scene..... sun, sand, ouzo, scantliy clad laydies, tanned men with rippling bodies... are you there yet.....well picture this... mark and mat and a small monkey playing the drums!!! from the eagles to floyd, oasis to RHCP, mustang sally and sweet child of mine their set list is impecable and the way they play is even better. Get your self into strings to see 'bomba blue' the greatest live band on the island.

oh, and the greatest ever hangover cure is a string breakfast - splendid!

don't tell anyone but this place kicks ass beyond belief the breakfest is to die for especially if it's made by kerry. pauls comes close to making a great breakfest fatso's feeds the hefers on budgets but if your looking for qaulity and a good atmospher to have your morning tea in. strings is the spot . also the band at night kicks ass.

My best mate Pete and i (Aaron) went to zante in 2003 i had been to zante befor and loved the night life we went out to go clubbing but 1 night we found strings bar and never left every night we were there from around 6pm to around 2am the music kicks ass and we ended up buying the band shots every nite we got to no Mark,Kerry,Mark and Trudi very well if you go there play shot drafts which me and my mate pete created one drunken night. if any of the Strings crew reads this Aaron and Pete from Borehamwood say hi and hope to see you guys soon.

this place is great if you like live entertainment, rob and kurt the pr's are very friendly, got to know them well ;)

not on main drag, but don't let that deter you, we found it very friendly, and entertaining,good music,if we had'nt been on an all inclusive, we would have been there every night.
nb. try the burgers if your hungry, are mouth watering.

Merv, the apartments above Strings are called Xifitas Apartments. They used to be with Kosmar but they're not in the brochure any more! Have fun!

Hi everyone, got back to England safely. Had a gr8 2 weeks in Zante, spent every night in Strings. The evening entertainment was fab!! Cocktails were excellent, especially the after eight. Hope to see everyone in the near future. Michelle and John.

Of all the places we went in Laganas, there was only 1 we kept going back to - Strings. Great movies, fantastic music and superb bar staff. You couldn't imagine a more friendly and lively place. Thanks for all the good memories (and drinks). Keep up the band guys and all the best to all.

As we were staying right above Strings we were never out of the place. All day breakfasts were amazing, the music from Matt and Mark every night was great. The girls behind the bar were fab,we were first to experience one of Kerry's jelly vodkas!!(recommended) It was my birthday while we were there and the guys at Strings made it a memorable one!Sparklers in my big breakfast and a shot of black zambuka made a bad hangover disappear. We recommend this place to all. Welcoming staff, films showing all day and just a great place to enjoy some very good music. (cheers guys)

My boyfriend and I are so thankful we were ushered in the Strings direction! The music and comedy from Mark and Matt made a fantastic night. I am a bit of a rock chick at heart anyway, but the music was such a great change from the pop and club stuff from the rest of the strip.

this bar was cool, a huge variety of different people in there. Although it took poor rob all week to get us in there!!!

The best bar in town if you need that relaxed atmosphere. Fosters was the coldest in all of the bars. Anyone know where the bar owners are from back home.

what can i say the Swindon Boy came to the bar and i dont think we ever lefted it, we bloddly loved it, with the now famous " FISH BOWLS" think we had all of them, and with the lovely sexy bar maids who knows i am coming back for the som matt watch this space and for the Big boss man and matt the magical Donkey you boys were great but the biggest thanks has got to go to Rob cos with out him will would of never of when in to Strings now called home in Laganas

It was mine and my boyfriends first holiday in Zante and after discovering the Strings Bar we just couldn't keep away! With excellent entertainment, friendly staff and quality theme nights(not forgetting the yummy all day breakfasts!!!)The Strings Bar was definitley one of the highlights of our holiday and I would recommend anyone to pay a visit!!!!

Went to Strings Bar most nights and loved it, live music every night, great bar staff and the best Cocktails in Laganas. "Big Bad Breakfast" was excellent! Anyone looking for a great night in Zante should definately visit this bar.

OK for those that have not Visited Strings Bar ... Go and find it now !!! Hospitality second to none, Kerry and Trudi the islands most inventive 'shot' makers ;o). Owners Mark & Matt/Bombablue for the the talent and wicked sense of humour ( keep an eye on Mark's solo during Pink Floyd's The Wall. Last but not least watch out for .... good old Spanky the Monkey .... He's an animal with the ladies !!!!
