Hiya!  I'm glad I found this website!!  Have just read all the great reviews for the Daisy Apartments.  I'm going there in October with my children and can't wait to get there now!!  Does anyone know what the weather will be like then?    Lorraine

 When we visited Daisy Apartments ( 16 of us ) it was September 2001 and we had the most fabulous time. The welcome we recvd was lovely, nothing was too much trouble, food from pool bar fantastic, pool very clean,  entertainment very good & funny. just arrived home.this was the best holiday ever everybody was really friendly and so nice.we loved andrea,peter and dennis.just so you no we dont want you to leave because we thought you did a fantastic job in running the bar and all the entertainments on the night. we really wanted to stay and which seeing how everybody got upset when we left just goes how to show how we all got so close ,and which we will miss you very much even encluding faye and rayna.by the way we wont forget sj she was the best so funny and rob and jo and baby camron and people who have our numbers and adresses please keep in touch and maybe see you soon.p.s peter we will send you them photos. lots of love

what can i say a great holiday.  the best holiday ive had in ages. cnt wait to go back sometime in the future.andrea and family were very nice and helpful. this is a great place to stay for any age group.

Oh my god, Just looking at all the pictures of Daisy's has brought it all flooding back and I only got home yesterday. James and I had a fantastic holiday at the Daisy....the people were SO nice. Andrea always greeted you with a smile in the morning, she knew all our names and went out of her way to make us feel welcome.

If anyone out there is staying at the Daisy soon - you're so lucky. I would love to go back. I miss it already!

so sad 2 leave kalamaki(daisy apartments) and cat :) how wicked is cat, awww love her 2 bits and loved the bar crawl on thurs night, got absolutely steamin, all ur fault cat!!!! lol only jokin. loved the pool and all the people there, miss ya sarah and rachael (manchester girls) lol u were fab!!! as for the dogs and those bloody sheep, what a nightmare!!! til half past tick tock in the mornin!!! and the cats pooed all over the towels, luckily they wernt ours so its all goooooood!!! lol hope 2 come back 2 greece soon, otherwise, party on in down under the best club in kalamaki!! :):):):):):):) love y'all xxxxx

 Soooooooo sad to have to leave Daisy's again after such a good holiday. Stayed last year and was a bit unsure about returning to the same place again as the last holiday was sooooooo good thought it may be a disappointment to return. No need to have been worried though the holiday yet again did not disappoint in any way we all had a fantastic time. Daisy's pool and apartments were as clean and comfortable as before and Andrea, Debbie, Peter and Denis as enthusiastic and determined to make you welcome as before. Well done to all of you we really do appreciate the hard work and effort you all put in as well as the long hours and still nothing is a problem for you, many thanks again.

Andrew hoping to come over next year for the turtles for about 4 weeks so he'll see you then and we hope to come over for 2 weeks during that time aswell so can't wait for then.

Cant agree with the comment r.e Cat, yes she was very friendly but the respponse to our complaint was 'thats just bad luck'. Not the type of response I would expect.

When you get to Daisys you will meet the best rep in the world. Her name is Cat. She will always have a big smile for you so just return the smile. If you have a problem, see Cat, it is no problem for her, as she will sort it out immediately. She is the best.

Just got back from a fantastic 2 weeks at Daisy's. We just did not want to come home. Peter, Andrea and Dennis all made us so welcome as usual. We are so looking forward to going back again the same time next year. In fact we may go back again in September for a week.

The rep, Cat, was a real credit to First Choice. She was always smiling and bubbly. If you had a problem, she sorted it immediately and if Carlsberg made reps, then they would call them Cat. In all our years of travelling abroad she is by far the best.

 Just want to say a great big thank you to Andrea & Peter for making us feel so welcome, we didn't stay at Daisy's but visited their bar often with my parents who have been going there for many years and their hospitality was superb. Thanks for the olive oil, cooked with it tonight, much better than the English. Reiss is missing his Greek Mama !!

I stayed at the Daisy appartments in 2003 with 13 family members we want to return to Zante in September this year 2005 if anybody is staying at the Daisy appartment could you please find out if they have a direct email address we want to book direct then book a flight would be most gratfull for any info.

Les, the air conditioning is in every room, but like just about everywhere it is charged for locally. Mate, your going to a greek island, take your own iron and kettle etc. Everthing there is a bare minimum. Your on holiday and everything is so cheap, your room is basically just somewhere to sleep and shower etc. If your expecting the Hilton, then you will be very disappointed

Hi Dawn, we are there around that time as well. It will be our 5th time in 6 years. There are lots of superb places to eat. You would be very unlucky to get a bad meal anywhere. You will have a great time.

Apartments great, very clean, friendly atmosphere, pool was good, with bar drinks and food all day. Apartments within easy reach of beach and town. Hate Quiz nights, but went to one at Daisy's and had a great time, and the Greek night, was fab, hadn't laughed so much in ages. Andrea and Peter were great fun. Thoroughly recommend it. Only complaint was the cost of the air conditioning, but managed to exist without it for 12 out of 14 nights.

To all at Daisy's, I hope you all had a good summer and have a well earned rest for a while before you start working on the farm. I look forward to seeing you all soon. Take Care x

Hi, There isn't a website for Daisy's that I know of but you get what you see and the Daisy is the Best. Peter and Andrea are fantastic hosts and you won't encounter any problems if you stay here. If you want any further info just ask. I guarantee you will have a great holiday. I always do.

We have just returned from a wonderful holiday. A big thank you to Peter and Andrea you made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. We made lots of new friends and hope to return again next year. From 'the ouzo gang',Dave,Lesley, Sharon, Jeff and Gemma.

Just returned from 2 great weeks, one the best holidays we have had.Great beach, did anyone mention turtles????????!!!!!!!!! Kalamaki great resort as not in your face but has something for everyone with Laganas just down the road if thats what you're after. We never went but preferred the many tavernas and cocktails bars in Kala and then returned to the poolbar which always has a great welcome for everyone.Thank you Andrea and Peter for your hard work and entertainment and thank you to the rest of the families who were staying at the same time you were all so friendly. Can't wait to come back.

We stayed at Daisy's apartments 29 June-13 July 2004. We had a lovely time and are considering going back next year. The children met lots of friends including Nikita, Liam, and Jo-anne who were also staying at Daisy's. The pool bar entertainment was great and we could never persuade the children to go out any else at night!! Andrea, Peter and Dennis were very friendly. We really miss it now we are home esp the blue skies every day! We had a lovely room overlooking the pool.

Having just got back yesterday 1st July, We just want to say what a fantastic time we had. It was made even better by the Swingle family who were fantastic fun. We just can't get over the welcome we got from Peter and Andrea waving the Greek Flag for us. Like Lyn Swingle said in the posting before this one, if your thinking of going to Kalamaki look no further and book for Daisy's. You are guarenteed a great time.
We have already booked again to go back next year on June 14th, and we can't wait.

A big "THANK YOU" to Peter,Andrea and Dennis, who once again ensured that our stay at Daisy's was "THE BEST". The apartments now have satelite Tv, air conditioning,maid service practically everyday and the welcome you get from the Peter and his family is terrific. Sue, our favourite Taverna is Paris, but you can't really go wrong with any of the Tavernas. As for Bars, there are loads of them and are all good really. Some are very lively and some are small and relaxing. Keef's favourite is Isis, because he likes to wind up Kirsty, the owners daughter. Enjoy your holiday, Kalamaki is superb.

hello my family are staying at daisys from the 16th august for 2 weeks. We are all really looking forward to it. The problem is that we are comming with another family who are staying at garden village, does anybody know how close daisys is to there?

Daisy's here we come. We are so looking forward to this. Who ever has read Keef & Jan's comments please don't believe it. There is nothing wrong with the Swingle family. We are all entirely normal {well, sort of)We need to get in touch with Peter and Andrea to make sure we get the right room this time, last visit we were crammed into the wrong apartment. If anyone can help we would appreciate it.

Has anyone got the telephone number for the Daisy Appartments please.

We stayed at daisy's for the first two weeks in May and thought the apartments were lovely. They were spotless and they came in every day and cleaned around. The bedding and towels were changed twice a week. We didn't go into the pool bar much but some people went in there and seemed to enjoy it. The Greek night seemed to go down well but be warned you will hear it until after midnight in your apartments. Andrea was vey pleasant but we felt that Peter was your best friend if you were spending in his pool bar but would blank you otherwise...

Phil the nearest restuarant to Daisy's is Petrino which is right opposite the entrance to Daisy's. It is on the road to Zante Town and Michaelos Restuarant. Hope this all helps.

We have just returned from the Daisy apartments. Excellent apartments and Peter and Andrea so warm and welcoming. Would highly recommend the Greek night with the BBQ food and dancing! Cleaner came in every day and cleaned our apartment, which was surprising as we have never had this before. Cannot wait for next year as returning for a fortnight. Took my parents and they loved it too. Overall a great place to stay, cocktails are the best in Kalamaki, pool lovely and big and clean. Totally recommend a stay there.

Phil, Just read your query. The Daisy Appartments are set back from the road at what I call the quiet end of Kalamaki. Do you know the small supermarket built like a small castle it's opposite there. It isn't in the hustle n bustle side of Kalamaki but its within easy walking distance (about 20 mins from the beach)

We have been to Kalamaki twice and are thinking of booking the Daisy apartments. Where exactly are they?
I know there just off the main road, but what other apartments/restaurants are they near?

We liked it was an understatement! WE LOVED IT! peter made us feel welcome as did andrea. Peter offered to build us a house as long as we worked in the bar but had to refuse and go home (boo hoo) would go back there any day just trying to earn some money. thanx for a great holiday

Mark You will love it at Daisy's. Kalimaski in our opinion is the best resort on the best of the Greek Islands. Where to eat. You can't go wrong in Kalamaki really where the Tavernas are concerned. Everyone has their favourites but our favourite has got to Be Paris Taverna. It is on the main road to the beach. In fact if you look at the Kalamaki Restuarant Database they have their own Website.

Jan and I are going back for the for the fourth time in 5 years on June 19th and hopefully will see you at Daisy's sometime.

One word of warning watch out for the Swingle family. :)

We are booking next week our stay at Daisy's for next year It really is that good.

We are going to Daisy Apartments for the 1st time in June this year and by reading all the previous comments it seems to be a good choice of Apartment. Can anyone recommend where to eat as we all enjoy the local dishes wherever we go as it's the 1st time that we've gone to the Greek Islands.

lynn they were planing to be there again this year but then realised that the Swingle family , (The family from Hell) were heading back to there, They have decided to leave the Island until the end of June.

We stayed at Daisys in May 2003 for two weeks and had a excellent time. Peter, Andrea and Dennis were such excellent hosts that we r coming back in May 2004. Look forward to seeing you all.

We are staying at Daisys from the 19th October until the 26th October please can you let me know if there is a fridge and what cooking facilities they have. We spent a lot of time here 4 years ago but stayed in another complex, but thoroughly enjoyed Daisys we went every night.

We spent three years on the trot at Daisy's and enjoyed every visit. We were made to feel so welcome there, we had to keep going back. If it hadn't been for a death in the family we would have been there this year.

Apartments really good.Well situated,quiet but near to town.Andrea, Peter and Dennis were lovely and made it very difficult to venture further than their bar!! Good entertainment in the evenings but not over the top. Greek night is the best in Kalamaki great fun and food first class.
For young girls lots of good looking greek boys the best being Stathis, Alex, Harris, and little Dennis!!!!! This is Jennas opinion!!
Ask Peter about the t-shirt with 24 positions and Dennis about his recommendations for his olive oil!!!!
Had one of the best holidays ever and we can't wait to go back.

Just back from two weeks stay at Daisy, very pleased with the two bedroom apartment we had right next to the pool, ideal as we had two children so never to far away if we needed anything whilst in/around pool. Facilities were fine, never really spent to much time in bar as so many others to visit, but they certainly made us feel welcome and for those who like a quiz or a sing then this will do you just fine. Earlier comments complained about linen etc. well they seem to have put this right now, at least twice a week,with the cleaner in every other day sweeping and mopping floors.The best praise we can give it is that all 11 of us would return.

just come home from 2 weeks at daisy apartments/studios was 11 of us. us 2 had a studio and we were very pleased with it very clean excellent poolside area where we spent many hours having a laugh and enjoying the poolside facilities. very nice resort would certainly return to both the resort and apartments/studios again. speaking for all 11 of us you could say we had a great time here on this wonderful island and resort.

We didn't stay at Daisy's but spent every evening at Daisy's. When we didn't go to the beach we were at the pool. A great place for a quiet fun holiday. You must try the milkshakes, cocktails and Melon with icecream mmmmmmmmmmm. Peter Andrea and Dennis are lovely people.

Daisy apartments were really good. The staff were amazing, well done Andrea, Peter and Dennis. Your singing made us smile in the mornings. Unfortunately bingo, quiz nights and karoke weren't what we were looking for!! However, we couldn't find fault with anything else. The breakfasts were great and there was a fabulous atmosphere around the pool all day!!!

Arrived back from Daisy's on 1st June and would certainly consider going back there. Dennis brought us a free shot over on our first night and made us welcome. Peter and Andrea were equally welcoming, the family really made our holiday memorable. Don't miss the Greek night on Mondays - great fun and good food. The quizzes were enjoyable as well, run by Debbie, sister of Peter and Dennis. The complex was very clean with bins emptied six days a week and towels and linen changed midweek. Equipment is basic but there is a small kettle. The towels left a lot to be desired as we only ever got one hand and one small bath towel between the two of us. Also you had to have your shower before 7 if you wanted any hot water. There was quite a bit of noise during the night from the local cockerels, stray dogs and once a goat but you soon get used to it. It's all part of the fun. We were not near the road or bar so no noise from them. The location was excellent, just a short stroll to the local amenities. The beach is a bit further but it's a pleasant walk and a lovely beach.

Just got back from daisy's had a wonderfull time Peter and Andrea are just lovely made us feel welcolme and part of the family. The apartment was clean and bins were emptied every day with fresh towels and bed changes often. seriously thinking of going back as made many friends there.

Stayed at Daisy aprts 6th - 20th May. They were very clean with
excellent surroundings. The beds and towels are changed more
regularly than last year. the bins are now emptied most days. They
had a lot of complaints about this last year and now taking steps to
improve things. The place is well run but is mainly for families.
We would not like to have gone in high season too many children.
The apartments are well situated just off the main road of Kalamaki.
Quiet but not far to walk to bars and restaurants. Good walk to beach
but worth it, Beautiful beach. Peter and Andrea are very nice and
Dennis is lovely.

Stayed around the corner at Rainbow but'lived' at Daisy's mostof the time. Always something happening in the evening: Quiz, Karaoke, Bingo, etc. Greek Night on Mondays is a must-do. Made lots of friends there. A good, family atmosphere, clean pool and Mythos at 2Euros a pint.

Just got back from two weeks here.Really liked the place,good pool,pleanty of sunbeds,good pool bar and the appartments were clean,but could do with a better maid service(ie a change of sheets and towels)will stay here when we go back.

Great place to stay we had three of us there me , my Mum and my Dad !! Grat bar, u can have fab nights out just in the bar lovely cocktails, nice pool little play area. and lots of sunbeds. The rooms were sufficent although the rooms were very clean. Nothing was changed linen or towels. The floor also got very sandy because nobody swept it. But once they do something about that It will be FAB !! Don't get put off by thiss I still recommened this place about **** BYE

We found the apartment (2 bedroom)to be very spacious and clean. All the staff were very friendly.The location away from the nightlife making it quieter.The only thing that could be improved is if the towels and bed linen were changed more frequently.

The family occupied 3 appartments in block A. 1@ 2 bedroom suite and 2 Studio appartments, by greek standards the appartments were excellent, all cleaned on a daily basis without being intrusive. The cleaners never came while you were in the appartments. Of the 3 appartments the only one with a minor problem was Daisy 2. this had a very small toilet which was made worse by having a very large wash basin. Would be improved by putting in a smaller wash basin

basic accomadtion, as most of greece is, bar staff friendly, apartments let down by only weekly towel and bed linen change, fair walk to beach, central for all resort, nice island, hire a car or at least go on a bus tour of island, book locally, not with rep, it's cheaper, and they all do the same trip's

We (family of 2 adults + 2 teenagers) stayed here for 2 weeks in August and generally enjoyed it. Staff are very friendly and food/drink reasonably priced + entertainment is good fun (though Bingo was pushing it a bit!). Apartments are of course very basic Greek but very clean. Beach is quite a walk away, but Daisy is well placed for restaurants/bars at both ends of Kalamaki. What let it down a little for me was beyond Peter & Andrea's control - a disco which has opened on the hill overlooking Kalamaki which seems to operate 0200 to 0500 hrs. Kalamaki doesn't need this as u can easily go into Laganas if u want late night noise. Let's hope it closes soon!

Just got back after a week in Daisy Apartments. Can't fault it at all. Studio was basic (as expected) but clean. It was very hot but you can hire a fan (I'd recommend doing that!!) The bar/pool area is great and the staff are friendly and helpful. I would go back. Oh - and the greek night is a good laugh!

brilliant,peter was so frienly as were his staff and as for daisy herself so helpful we would be back there every year if there was not so much else to discover but we will be back one day

Found Daisy's to be superb. The atmosphere there is relaxed. Everyone is so friendly and Peter and Andrea work very hard to entertain their guests each evening. The Greek Night that they put on on a Sunday Evening is a must. It is like one big Family Party. The swimming pool is very clean and safe for youngsters. If I have to critisise, the Kareoke Night leaves a lot to be desired, especially when Andrea insisted on me singing. Terrible. Great place to stay. Food on offer very good and the Cocktails, well very tasty and reasonably priced. If you stay at Daisy's you will have a great Holiday

I have stayed at the Daisy Apartments twice in the past and will be staying there again in October. They are in a beautiful location, lovely gardens and fantastic view of Kalamaki's mountain. The apartments themselves are basic (as with most Greek accommodation) but it is clean and well kept and it is so cheap to eat out that you'll find that you won't want to be cooking for yourself. Peter and Andrea who run the place are fantastic and can't do enough for you and Dennis behind the bar will take care of all your alcholic needs! There are great facilities for the children and it's only a stones throw away from all the amenities - shops, supermarkets, tavernas, the beach. There is some traffic noise at night as there is a main road nearby and there is entertainment in the bar until the early hours of the morning but when you go on holiday, what do you expect? It is bearable and you will have a fab time!

This was recommended for families in the brochure, did not state that the bar had entertainment every night and stays open till 3.00am every morning - Karoke, Bingo etc + noisy guests until 7.00am - recommend you to take loads of cotton wool for you ears - especially the kids! Complex is very clean, just a shame about the noise!

Took three chidren. Clean, pool good and staff helpful. No air conditioning- fans are available. Children had a wonderful time. However, main Laganas road 300 mtrs away cross country. Music bars very loud at night, with weekend all nighters. If you like listening to Rolf Harris singing "Tie me kangaroo down sport", with audience participation,over and over again, between three and four on a Sunday morning, book now. A real pity- it spoiled a super holiday.

My wife, five year old daughter and myself stayed for two weeks from 12th June, we had a fantastic time the staff are helpful the appartments clean, great for kids and above all a very friendly atmosphere, the Greek people can't do enough for you, especially the kids. You have to try the Stanis Taverna on Kalamaki, this is by far the best place we found to eat they really made our holiday.
