The Greek salad is excellent there and cheap, and the place is very nice. Although we were the only clients on the restaurant, the waiter let us wait for a long time before bringing the bill
WE ATE HERE 3TIMES ITS GREAT THE OWNER IS GREAT TO HE LOOKS AFTER YOU THERE IS GOOD CHOICE N PUDDING IS THE BEST
i wouldn't try this restaurant as we could see all the rubbish piled up at the back. We stopped in the Charalambas apts for 2 weeks and the rubbish was never cleared. This does not do a lot to help control vermin. We tried this restaurant last year and found the food to be excellent. If the staff clear up the back it would make me more inclined to eat at the restaurant.
One of the better places to go
Ate here a couple of times, pasta dishes very good as were the greek meals. Average price for the resort and worth a visit.
We ate at this restaurant quite a few times during our stay and never had a bad meal. The kids were treated really well and we all got free Metaxa when we went home.Plus, the toilets are actually quite reasonable (for Greece).Definately give it a try.
Very friendly staff and the food was ok, but nothing to write home about.
Can someone advise the average cost of a 3 course meal in the Majestic.
I would like to know if there is any possibility of getting in touch (either by post or e-mail) with Georgina and Dimitri of the Majestic, I have mislaid their address and would like to hear from them both
Went to Tsilivi for two weeks and ate there for every meal. Strongly recommend the pancakes from Georgina (especially chocolate and banana). Dimitri and all his staff were very friendly. Would certainly go there again.
Any time of the day the Majestic is the place to eat. The staff are friendly, smiley and make you feel like one of the family. Strongly recommend you try the traditional greek meals and a big must is the Berki Meze. The prices are unbelievable and if you have a child they are treated like royalty.
A big hi to (excuse the spelling) Demitri, Maki, Anastatsia, Stephanos, Stathis and all the staff from Darcey. xxx
Great place to eat, very friendly, lovely Greek menu, cater for children, made to feel like old friends, children made very welcome,Greek music in back ground .No place to go if you are weight watching.!!!!
Dissapointed with this. Everyone raved about it but the staff were all miserable and the food was average.
The best spot in Tsilivi for breakfasts! The full english was as good, if not better than home. After a disappointing breakfast at Tizzies on our first morning, we tried the Majestic (thanks to this site's recommendation) and thank goodness we did. What a difference. Well done all at the Majestic, keep it up. See you May 2003.
A big thank you to Dimitris and all his staff for once again making our holiday one to remember. First visited Tsilivi in May this year and ended up eating there for our two week stay, Visited again 29th. September and once again ate there every night and can recommend it the serves, food and prices are exhalant.
Ate here 3 times during our 2 weeks, food was excellent on all 3 occasions. Chicken Stifado was fantastic, and the crepes were brill. Very reasonable priced for such a good meal. House wine also excellent.
good meals at reasonable prices
Many places to eat in Tsivili, but we went back a couple of times, the pizza are to die for, also had fillet of beef mexican style and I have never enjoyed a meal sooooo much. Keep up the good work.
Excellent food combined with a decent level of service. Of a similar level to Calypso and Moby Dicks. Recommended!
Best place to eat, great food, great service, lovely waiters. I want to thank one waiter in particular, Thank you Yanis for that amazing night we shared in my apertmant, Love CarlyXXX P.s Yanis is the waiter that wears white trainers
Been to Tsilivi 5 years running and allways eat at this restaurant. Dimitris and Georgina allways make you feel welcome, as do the staff. The foods great and the panecakes are excellent (not to be missed).
We were made to feel welcome. Food was good as was the price.
Ate here twice and enjoyed all put before us.
seven of us ate at the majestic..ordered our starters and main meal..they brought the bread with the starter......we ordered 2 lamb kleftikos very poor .staff not interested would not advice going
We have just got back from Zante where we ate out and drank at several waterholes. The service in here was not good but the food and location were. Perhaps we were an isolated incident. Wouldn't go back in again.
Were there in May this year and thinking of going coming back out at the beginning of October can any one let me know if things are still open then? is the Majestic open? ate there for the full two weeks and would like to eat there again if we get back.
Miss this at your peril, the food was excellent the service first class and the price very very good, ate here main meals on 3 occasions party of 3 people and it came to about 19-21 euro
Food here was great. We took our two children here and they were very well looked after. Can highly recommend the crepes for dessert especially the majestic special.
Had breakfast there most days, very friendly staff, especially the manager Demetrie. all the food we tried was cooked to perfection.pancakes recomended. they even supplied a birthday cake for my wife while we were there. we were well looked after, and well fed, you really must visit.
Just got back from two fab weeks in Tsilivi went to do some shopping at George's suppermarket and was told about the Majestic restaurant dicided to give it a try and ended up eating there the full two weeks of are stay. The food was excellent tried all the Greece dishes which I can recommed washed down with plenty of house wine, found the owners Dimitris and Georina very welcoming but not pushy. A big thankyou to all his staff for making our holiday one to remember. Hope to see them all sometime.
Great Food here, great prices too! Thanks in particular to Dimitri, who is a fantastic host and great with the kids! Alan, Vicki and kids
excellent all round!
Had a superb meal here on Sunday night with the Zakfari team. The Dolmadakia and Zakynthian Lamb were examples of island cuisine at its best, and the house wine was superb. Bob : LAND ROVER MONTHLY Magazine
The best family place to eat we went there every night. The kids loved it the people and the service was amazing. There where greek food english so if you wanted a good all English meal then you could. The food helpings where above average we loved it we recommed it to you highly.
Well what can i say -another brill place to eat -You must come and chat to the owner - Great food ,great conversation( milate ellinika)- and plenty of wine. email david.gartside@ntlworld.com
We liked it here though it wasn't our favourite but in a party of six it's obvious that some people will like places better than others!! Good choice of food and it was very nice too!!!!! We were all too full up for the pancakes so we were able to sit and have a drink and a chat until we were ready and no-one was dissapointed, they are as delicious as everyone had said they were!!!! The staff were friendly which is always a bonus but then we find most Greeks are lovely people!!The price was as good as anywherelse too!!!!!
Lovely relaxing place, geargina is a lovely woman and looks after you. Pancakes are to die for.wonderfull just wonderfull
Not the best restaurant we ate at during the holiday. Food was excellent, but service was unsmiling though efficient (maybe we were unlucky that night, and never met this Dennis guy, but another couple who went there confirmed it wasn't what it was cracked up to be either). Didn't feel very welcomed, so we didn't go back, there were far better restaurants (such as Nemesis, or Cats Whiskers) to go to.
Have not been back this year, but georginas pancakes (espically the chocolate and banana) are to die for.
very nice people demitrius and his family staff very helpful, good breakfast menu not an extensive menu for the evening, but some good specials on a night and good value for money
Went at a lunch time and found Dennis to be a very genuine and friendly guy. Try the crepes they are a must!
Ate there once, didn't go back. It wasn't awful by any stretch of the imagination. However, but with so many different restaurants in Tsilivi tehere are restaurants that are much better. Harry's Restaurant (its actually called that) dodgy name, but had the best house wine yet. Food was good too! Near George and Mary's bar. Remember to say your Yamas and Afharistos, they are appreciated and earn you free drinks in the bars!
Quite pleasant surroundings, welcoming staff, good food at reasonable prices. Worth a try.
Our favorite restaurent, try the spaghetti in the oven, best meal I had. The actual restaurnet itself is really nice and the toilets were clean with a lock on the door(quite novel)
ate here 3 times over 2 weeks, food was good with a very good choice for vegetarians - always felt welcome
Enjoyed our meal here and you must try one of there crepes. Try get a seat away from the pavement
Pretty ropey fare - my fried sole was completely limp and tasteless but the bird fared better with her beef stifado. Wine was the same as it was all over the island i.e. pants.
Very Friendly, Good service, good food and reasonably priced. Three most enjoyable meals had here.
All I can say about the Majestic is that the food wasn't anything special,in fact it was only just warmed through. When we were there it was pretty quiet and the staff was more bothered about getting people into the resaurant than looking after the customers. When you asked for something it seemed to take forever. We tried it onemore time and there was no improvement.
Talk about through you in seerve it up and throw you out. No room at the tables or between them
Very friendly people here,Had Daughter's 16th Birthday Party in here. They did a wonderful Sponge-cream&fresh fruit Cake and we had a lovely Evening. We eat at the Majestic mostly whlist on holdiay We loved their Kentucky burgers-WOW great taste WELL WORTH A VISIT REYNOLDS FAMILY ( HALIFAX)
THIS IS THE BEST RESTAURANT IN TSILIVI & PROBABLY THE WHOLE OF ZAKYNTHOS. The co-owner Gorgina is the nicest person you could hope to meet. She is originally from Australia & has lived on Zante for many years. Food is excellent & the Kleftico is the best in the world. Prices are really cheap, cos my sis is a rep over there & so we get discount. Service is also excellent as well.
Enjoyed it so much we went back for more. Lovely atmosphere with good lighting and fountain. Staff friendly and eager to please although one evening two drinks trays went flying in 10 minutes, causing much amusement. Perhaps a little dearer than some although worth it.
excellent restaurant, excellent service and wonderful food.Very well run
We ate here on several occassions - the food is really good. Make sure you try one of the pancakes for dessert - yum! Dennis greets you at the entrances, but isn't pushy, just very friendly.
We only went here once but we had a lovely meal, and the restaurant was very clean and the service was good. They have a lovely water fountain in the middle of the seating area which helps create a lovely atmosphere. The prices were good and we found Dennis to be very welcoming and he didn't hassle us at the entrance which does happen at a lot of places.
Food very nice but Dennis on the door is a bit strange!!!!
FRIENDLY SERVICE IN NICE SURROUNDINGS
We had a great meal here, reccomend the Muscles saganaki and the Kleftico.
We went there twice during our week stay. The food was good with a large variety. The price was slightly higher than most, but still reasonable- 2 adults & 2 children incl drinks about £21.. This included a free electric bike/car ride for the children next door
