GREAT PLACE FOR FRESH GREEK FOOD IN FRIENDLY SURROUNDINGS,BIG PORTIONS AND EXCELLENT VALUE,TRY THE HOUSEWINE HERE TOO!I HAD THE VILLAGE CHICKEN HERE,IT WAS BRILLIANT,CHEESE AND SPINICH PIES TO START WITH,WITH GARLIC BREAD.MORE OF A FEAST THAN A DINNER!!!IDEAL FOR KIDS TOO AS THEY HAVE A GOOD KIDS MENU,GOOD LUCK TO SPIROS AND ALL AT THE TESSORO.

We came again to Kalamaki for the fourth time and had our meals most nights in Tesoro's. The staff there made every meal special, and we will definately go there on our next visit.

First Restaurant that we went into when we got there and we were not in the least disappointed. Superb food and very good service. Again, patient with little ones and really tried hard to ensure you are well looked after.

THIS IS ANOTHER BRILLIANT TAVERNA,INTRODUCED TO US BY TOLIS AND KAREN KEARNEY SOME 6 OR 7 YEARS AGO,NEVER LOOKED BACK!GREAT FOOD,STAFF,SURROUNDINGS AND AS IN ALL THE TAVERNAS I MENTION,VERY CLEAN AND GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY.WHATEVER YOU GET HERE FOR YOUR MEAL THE PORTIONS ARE VERY GENEROUS,SO WE ALWAYS SHARE A STARTER.GOOD WINE HERE TOO! I LOVE THE CHICKEN CURRY HERE,TO COOL ME DOWN AFTER A RED HOT DAY IN THE SUN!!!!

Going back to Kalamaki (for the ninth time)24th May, and always look forward to eating here. Spiros and Kiki are always genuinely welcoming and their menu is very varied and international as well as Greek(so there is something for everyone!)

The food is always piping hot and we have never come out of here hungry. The restaurant and kitchens are spotless. We have always found their prices very agreeable and have never been ripped-off.
There is a varied childens menu and high-chairs are provided.
We have no complaints (and always tell it as it is!)

Myself and my family are returning to Kalamaki for the 10th time this July!
We have always eaten at Tesoro and find the food of excellent quality and a large varied choice for adults and children. Spiros and Kiki have become good friends over the years and offer a traditional atmosphere in their resturant. They are really friendly and welcome children (no matter what age!) They offer excellent value for money with outstanding quality service. As far as we are concerned there is no need to eat anywhere else. We can't wait to see them on 12th July 2004! We have been going to kalamaki now for the last 7 yrs and this year was the 1st time we had eaten at this place.
I must say we coludnt fault it, you must try the mixed grill, its huge and gotta be the best on the island certainly a must ! mind you hope you can eat a large meal as it certainly is that ! and the price is fantastic.....the staff and manager are great too .....

We have just returned from two weeks in kalamaki(our second visit)and returned to Tesoros. It was like meeting old friends. The food was great, big helpings for healthy appetites.Our autistic grandson Charlie loved the resaurant and the meals. The staff were wonderful with him and spoiled him rotten, nothing was to much trouble for them. He felt so at home he wanted to go there every night.We trid lots of specials baked lamb with garlic was wonderful as was chicken a la newyork, kaleftiko, and the childrens meals and portins were great.

good portion sizes, not bad prices. better than mermaids!

Can anyone give me the address of the Tesoro Restaurant in kalamaki. Want to send some pics of the wonderfull evenings our family spent there.

Our favourite eating place, they definately have the best garlic bread out of all the restaurants we went to,
They sometimes have live traditional music to entertain you when you eat and the food is really nice. The atmosphere is great. What more can I say than you should eat here!

CANT DO WITH WHINGERS,WHY GO TO GREECE?THIS IS A TOP PLACE TO EAT AND RELAX,WE HAVE NOW BEEN COMMING HERE FOR SIX YEARS,EVERTHING IS SPOT ON, WE HAVE COME IN GROUPS OF 12 TO 3 NOTHING IS A PROBLEM FOR THEM!!TRY THE WINE AND COMPANY,AFTER ALL WHATS THE RUSH!!!
P.S. THERE ARE SOME FASTFOOD PLACES NOW IN KALAMAKI,SO YOU CAN EAT YOUR BURGER QUICK, THEN HIT THE PI**!

MY SECOND FAVORITE TAVERNA,GREAT FOOD (GREEK) FREINDLY STAFF,I CANT UNDERSTAND THE COMMENTS BELOW,WE HAVE BEEN COMMING HERE FOR SIX YEARS,WE HAVE INTRODUCED NEW FREINDS HERE TOO,AND NEVER HAD A BAD MEAL! MIND YOU,YOU CANT ALWAYS SUITE SOME PEOPLE.

Tried Tesoro, didn't like it. Average all round.

For fast-food people there is now a McDonalds in Laganas.

Service was very poor.only went there one night out of fourteen as we weren'timpressed with the service.it took ages before we got drinks our meal and even the bill. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant unless u don't mind waiting! But chicken ala new york was lovely - my boyfriend's second favourite meal of the holiday. FDound it bit more expensive than other restaurants though.

GREAT FOOD,GREAT STAFF,DAILY SPECIALS ON THE BOARD,YOU WON'T GO WRONG IN HERE,KIDS PORTIONS TOO,REAL SAUSAGES AND HEINZ TOMATO KETCHUP!!

IF YOU LIKE GREAT FOOD @ GREAT PRICES,GO TO THIS TAVERNA,BUT DONT TAKE MY ADVICE,I MIGHT NOT BE ABLE TO GET TABLE!!

This place is gorgeous - lovely food, try the platter - and best of all it's open at lunchtimes too.

Been visiting Kalamaki for several years now and just returned with Son's and grandchildren etc.. this is a regular haunt of ours. Good international menu,excellent greek food, very agreeable prices and very family and child friendly, had to book a table on occasions, Speaks for itself really........ :) See you all in october!!

Good restaurant with great food and good price although can lack atmosphere and the management can blow hot & cold but on the whole good all round restaurant.

This restaurant is the best food always brilliant and all the staff great.

I had an excellent spaghetti here with delicious home made sauce. My wife had excellent salmon. The only dissapointment was that the salmon was served with frozen mixed veg.

Been to Kalamaki 6 years running this restuarant is the best!!! treated like family when you go into this restaurant. Good price and generous portions and the food is always piping hot, nothing is too much trouble for Spiro and his staff and service is fast although the staff do not rush you (you eat greek style!!!)See you all 20th September, reserve us a table!!!! Good food, good service and good value. Couldn't fault it.

This is one of the best restaurants in kalamaki. Waiters friendly, very quick (and that's saying something in Greece!)Food was lovely. It was also one of the cheapest places we ate at. The only bad comment is that the prtions are on the small side.

many words can descirbe your feelings but the only one i can think is EXCELLENT ! CHICKEN SOUVLAKI #1 CHICKENALA NEW YORK #1 THEY WERE GREAT WE WANT A CERTAIN DRINK BUT DID NOT STOCK IT WENT BACK NEXT DAY THEY HAD BOUGHT TWO BOTTLES FOR US ..NOW THATS CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

We could not fault the food it was excellent and price was o.k. but to us it lacked atmosphere, and i would not say they were that friendly.

The best Value Taverna in Zante (probably the Med.) Spiro's specials served by his friendly staff give the full range of greek dishes,i have been eating here for the last 6yrs. and i'm treated like one off the family. THE BEST BAR NONE

This place is FANTASTIC!!! The 1st time we went there I had a dodgy stomach (muct make it clear it was nothingto do with Tesoro!!!) so couldnt eat all my meal. The waiters were concerned as to why I hadnt managed to eat much which was really nice!!! But it was the best steak I tasted in Kalamaki (admittedly I hadnt tried them all) so we had to go again!!! (So I could enjoy it as much as it deserved and put there mind at ease as to how brilliant it was) I had plain (bad choice of words) fillet steak (which was MASSIVE) and my boyfriend had steak with a m..... sauce (which he says is the best sauce hes tasted.) So not only do I recommend the service if you love steak this is one restaurant you HAVE to visit!!!

actually we loved it, its me and my wifes personal favourite, great service and friendly staff, plenty of time for the kids, beat the macfaddon family to this one so i can really vouch for the wine, excellent.

THIS RESTAURANT WAS INTRODUCED TO US LAST YEAR BY TONY, KAREN AND LIAM, AND WE REALLY ENJOYED THE FOOD AND COMPANY. THEY DO A GOOD CHICKEN CURRY, WHICH I REALLY ENJOYED WITH A COUPLE OF GLASSES OF MYTHOS. ALL VARIETIES OF FOOD WAS EXCELLENT WITH A GOOD CHILDS MENU - REAL SAUSAGES. FRIENDLY STAFF IN GOOD, CLEAN SURROUNDINGS. EXCELLENT VALUE FOR MONEY, WE WILL BE GOING BACK IN 4 WEEKS TIME.
