Hi angels, this has got to be the best bar in Kalamaki i was in their every night with ma mates Andy, Stefan, Irish lad Dave and some fine babes. Special mention to DJ Kris u a player man (Players stay up) and the best song goin has to be.... the cha cha slide! but i neva did win it i dont get why lol. Hope to see you soon Angels

Sadly just returned to England after a great 2 week hol (and an extra night in Zante due to the plane breaking down) - spent most of the time in Angels where I was guest DJ on 6 nights,Friday 11 and 18th July, Sun 13th and 20th and Tuesday 15th and 22nd.(Resident DJ Chris is the tall slim one, I was the tall stocky one lol).

Great bar, cheapest drinks around, a family environment and a great crowd kept it going each night till 4 or 5 am - big shout to Jim and family from Preston, Ann and the boys from Leeds, the Irish lads and lasses, Kate and Lisa from newcastle (howay), everyone else who made it so enjoyable, and of course Con, Nick, Nikos, Elliott, Emily, Chris and all the staff-the best in the resort!

I took some pictures which I`ll get up on the next few days on here..., anyone who was in when I was DJing please drop me an email, I`m missing the place already!!!!

if you are planning a trip to kalamaki and fancy laganas dont bother go to angels every nite it is the best place on the whole of the island witout a doubt especially when you get to know the staff (dj chris, stu, brad, nikos, nik,and even con!) this place stays open til' at least four am just depending on whats going on...we went to laganas once and nowadays its not what its cracked up to be going to angels every nite also saved us loads a dosh in taxis and as drinks are so cheap!!!! after the holiday weve just returned from(mark, shell,cj and andy) we'll be going back next year and doing the exact same....HONESTLY IT IS THIS GOOD

i only tried angels twice this time but it still has to be the best bar in kalamaki. i think the d.j they have this year (chris) is exellent he has a cross selection of music & knows when to to change the mood. the only down side this year was the t**t who guarded the door. he looked like an escaped convict & he had about as much carisma as a bag of crisp. apart from that all the rest of the staff were excellent hope to see you all again in september lets hope the convicts been recapured

My boyfriend and I visited this bar twice. First time we had a good drink, dance and the music was good, lots of people around our age (22 and 24) got drunk and thought we'd try it again later in the week, BIG mistake!! I think this place all depends on the people you get in there that particular night. Our second visit was spoiled by the dysfunctional family from hell, raving around to house music off their faces on pills - this included the mother (who was getting’ down with her kids…)!!! We did ask for a better variety in the music and got that for about 20mins. We sat it out for about an hour in which time we saw at least 4 other couples look around as dismayed as we were and leave, we followed pretty sharply. I would say if your passing looking for a late drink then go in suss what’s going on that night, and depending on your preferences stay or go!!

One word sums up this place CRAP!!!! And no I dont work for another bar nor do any friends or family I just have good taste and common sense.

I'm 25 actually. Also whilst I was there I did not see many people under 18 most were my age, me and my friends all thought it was great and had a fantastic time there, still each to their own I suppose life would be a bit crap if we were all the same eh.

Angels was ok but Down Under is far better u cannot even compare the 2. Barmen are fantastic drinks ARE good value for money and they play great music. Sorry Angels but u are gonna have to do alot better to compete with Down Under.

It`s the ONLY bar in Kala where I would feel happy taking my kids all night, plenty for them to do and the DJ plays music for all ages, kiddies to biddies!(sorry)!
Anyone going in July I`ll be doing a bit behind the decks and playing for everyone, by the way check out the prices compared to the other bars as well. It`s best value by far.

Just come back after 2 weeks, we spent nearly every night in Angels mostly because our young daughter dragged us there to dance. Staff are great, Mike Dundee (the manager) took a shine to our wee girl, he made her lots of differnt things with straws and he even took her round the other side of the bar so she could make a cocktail with him, she is only 3 and loved evry minute, she even got a tip as well. The atmosphere was great, nice cocktails and good DJ. will get very busy in high season. This bar gets the big thumbs up from our family. WELL DONE gang keep it up, and hope to see you all next year. (Mick if you see this, Emma is telling everyone about you scarring her with the smoke machine!! you meany, lol)

we went to kalamaki in june 2002 & i must say it was the most relaxed holiday i have ever had. and as for angels bar well what can i say it is just the best we were there every night of the holiday it was great i was d.j for 5 nights & all the staff were so friendly and a good week was had by all. hope ti see you again in june 2003 cheers

We have been to zante 3 years on the run and every year we go to the Angels bar it is excellent and we really like speedey he is lovey it is a really frenidly bar and if i was you and you was going to zante i would go.

It was really cool when we went there, everything was to perfection, and the prices WERE THE BEST EVER!! The only problem was a drunk man and a lady were having sex in the toilets, in the cubicals shouting out "LICK ME SOFTER" and nobody did anything about it..

Apart from that "IT WAS GREAT"

Angels bar was wicked!!! The staff were a right laugh, the music was good and so were all the people in there. I used to come from Laganas to Angels cause the atmosphere was so good!!! It is a definate must!!! I met loads of wicked people in there including my holiday romance!!! If anyone remembers meeting me, i was there from 25/08/02-05/08/02, leave a message for me on the board!! Hope to be there next year aswell!!!

I FORGOT TO MENTION, THAT THIS YEAR WE DIDDN'T HAVE TO HIDE IN THIS BAR FROM B/B AND CANNONBALL. SEE YOU NEXT YEAR IN THIS TOP BAR!!

NICE BAR, VERY GOOD DJ, GOOD TUNES. BAR STAFF VERY FRIENDLY AND ENCOURAGED THE OTHER HALF TO TAKE PART IN GETTING BEHIND THE BAR FOR SOME COCKTAIL MAKING, SHE SAID WAS GOOD AS BAR STAFF WERE HUNKS. COCKTAILS VERY NICE, GOOD PRICES AND THE WAITER WAS MORE THAN HELPFULL IN OUR SELECTION OF DRINKS.

2 whole weeks and we were in here every nite, Brad puts on a fab fire show, If you go Steve's Deep Blue is a must have cocktail, the most gorgeous thing I have ever tasted !!! and as for Nick and Stu - love you guys, can't believe I turned down the threesome on the freezer !!!!!!!!!! Absolute fantastic time spent at Angels, definately recommend it.

Angelz was one of the best barz in kalimaki, the music was mint n so were the coktailz (they got u pi**ed 4 cheap) the best nite tho was wen chris was dj-in i must admit sum otha nites were crap (not mentionin n e names tho) had sum grt nites in there!! recomend it 2 n e 1!!!!!

This bar was ok, the bar staff - Steve and Stuart made you feel welcome and always supplied strong drinks. I can't say much for the dj. As we went in here most nights, we soon realised that the same songs were being played. You could always guarantee Liberty X would be played at approx 11:30pm. Oh and the place didn't smell that good, it was quite a sicky stench! Other than that, it was ok, the drinks were good, it was friendly and the air conditioning was lovely!

Hello to everyone we met there - Chris,Danny,Gav and Stu calling!!! Angels is the cheapest bar in the area, music for all tastes and is getting really busy again as we left. i did a bit of DJing there (Fri 19th and a few other bits) and it was great - decent people who wanted a good time. Don`t believe the rubbish that sometimes gets put on here - try it for yourself!

We went to Kalamaki on 2nd July to 16th July 2002. We had been in the Angels bar one night and had quite a good laugh. Stuart and Steve were on form. We then went a second night which was a good laugh, me and my friend Emma got rather drunk and Emma took Stuarts cap and we ran off with it that night. Emma took it home washed it because it smelt, and we took it back to him the next night. Stuart then barred me and Emma for the rest of the holiday from going in to the bar. Which made us laugh, I think Stuart needs to get a sense of humour, it's wasn't the end of the world. He did do us a huge favour though as we discovered the Down Under Bar which is without a doubt the best bar in Kalamki, Angels bar doesn't come close.

THE LAST TIME I WENT (WHEN I MET LANDIS) HE COULDNT SPEAK A WORD OF ENGLISH EXEPT 'HELLO' AND 'BYE' BUT THIS TIME WHEN I WENT, HE WAS HAVING A CONVESATION WITH ME ASKING ME HOW COME I KEEP COMING BACK, AND WHEN HES WORKING AND STUFF LIKE THAT! The only person on the dance floor this June was my four year old nephew,and can someone please tell the blond who was part of the evening entertainmant that if we wanted to hear Helen from Big Brother Sing we would have bought her video! Absolutely dire.

Good drink prices (3 Euros whatever you had... even the cocktails) but dire music. Not quite sure what crowd the DJ (Mark) was trying to appeal to... as anyone who wanted something lively went to Laganas. He should have tried to cater for the 'older crowd' (we're 30 somethings) who were in there who didn't want to party with the Ibiza rejects in Laganas. The same 20 people were in there everynight (28-40 year olds) and everynight they'd all left by 12:30 when they'd got sick of the noise that is called 'rave music'. Not saying that there is anything wrong with garage/house/rave... but Angels isn't the place for it, as everyone in there was over 25! If you wanted that kinda thing, then there was plenty of it 5 minutes up the road in Laganas. Could have been good, with the right music and atmosphere... oh and a speedier service! Took them 5 minutes to get three drinks! I'm sure the staff must have changed since all the rave reviews below this one.

Went to kalamaki may 16th-31st 2002! had a very good time there, angels bar was the highlight of my holiday they played good music and there's plenty to do (good pool table)! drinks at good prices and overall angels you are excellent will visit you's again if i come back to kalamaki!!! Just back today from my second hol in Kalamaki this year and God do I miss the place already! The resort was obviously quieter than July, but Angels was by far the busiest bar in the place. Good music, with something for all ages, live football, excellent food, and the best staff on the island by far...... Can`t wait till July 2002! Just come back from Zante last week! stayed in kalamaki, Angels one of the best bars there! great music, great drinks,(the J&B whiskey flows nicely!!!) air-conditioned and the staff were excellent, heather, jackie and DENISE (what a star), sound DJ's too. This was straight across from out apartments (Antonis) which was great when you got the breakfast belly rumble! We went for brekkie nearly everyday (I now weight an xtra 5lbs!) they have a good choice of foods including burgers from 11.30am! It is quite lively at night time and stays open til 3am ish! Definately worth a visit.

Brian and co if you`re reading this - we`re back on 23 September for a week! Get that Dance with the Devil ready! Chris (the DJ from Chesterfield!!!)

Oh yes forgot to add on posting below - if anyone remembers me - stayed in Cavo d`Oro 4-18 July and was in the Angels bar most nights with my mate Neil - I was the guy from Chesterfield who got up MCing behind the decks at Angels - send me an email at SCJChadwick@btinternet.com. Hoping to return Sept or Oct and definitely next year!

Can`t believe this only ranks at no.10 - the best bar on the island - excellent drinks, service and the best staff too..... Don`t go anywhere else! We didn`t hardly! greetings to Brian, Heather and all the staff from Chris (yes the DJ from Chesterfield - remember to Dance with the Devil!)

Sound place - big up to Brian and Heather, and of course the most beautiful barmaid on the island, Denise. When can we two dance again?! Hubba hubba ;-D

Atmosphere, staff, drinks and entertainment were first class! Must be visited. A big hello to Brian and Heather - thanks for making it a holiday to remember. I'm sure we will be back!!

Discovered this place late in our stay and only during the day....but loved it! Sure it must be great at night. We were staying in Laganas and cycled to Kalamaki specially on our last day to have a big breakfast here - fantastic! The staff were really friendly and welcoming.

great place too chill out 13 draught beers dj and gorgeous barmaids makes this place great to be.

So both Mermaids and the Angels Bar are owned by the same people and both appear in the top three. I wonder who set this website up and who influences it?

place only openend on the 10th of may near the end of our hol's but it was great good staff heather is so sexy great coverage of the f.a. cup live and kicking

Music/Entertainment was Brilliant.Good Karaoke and Quiz nights were great.Brian the entertainer kept everyone in the party mood.Good family fun night out.

drinks are cheap in angels and the music is loud!!!! best of all we liked their breakfasts - and they have sky tv!!!!
