The Factory is the best place to go in Argassi!!! The staff are all very friendly and know how to party!!!! Its a fantastic atmosphere ,the music is brilliant and i wish we had a bar like it in Dublin!!!

Hi there, everyone at the factory, such a shame that the last couple pages gone downhill abit, but everyone to their own opinion, i can understand why george got like he did, he maybe couldnt express himself any other way, but maybe the things said about him should have been said  between private emails, then no one would get hurt, and lives upside down.  But saying all this maybe this is alesson  for all to learn go there have a great time and go home with just memories as thats what holidays are for.  ive been 3 years in a row to zante and always visited the factory, the first time i went i took my little boy and my daughter in there, also the second time, the third time i went with some friends and got them to come in there too, but this year going back again hopefully if all goes well with the 17 year old daughter and my 6 year old son. Will still visit the factory to see people we met the previous 3 times its nice to see the same faces and just have real harmless fun at the factory.  Happy hols everyone

Simply the best! guaranteed a great night every night, its addictive! the entertainment is unbeatable, especially with the professional greek dancers struttin their stuff to the zorbas dance! Just got back from Zante, n spent everynight in the factory till it shut at 4. 1st of all gotta give a big shout to the big bad DJ MALCOLM JAY he as to be TOP BANNANA, made everynight a good one with his outstanding music, u av to go jst to see him ( tell him the BURNLEY BOYS sent u). i met loadsa peeps there sonny,beefy,reg manc hat boys and megan and bryony the carlise girls my trainers still arnt dry from are swim !! If you manage to get to this club go nxt door to the supermarket and buy yaself ouzo and red vodka, did this everynight made it so much better, will be Bak nxt yr so watch out the 24 hour party people are makin a return.

Have been back only 1 week now and it feels like a lifetime.
Unbelievable how much Zante and the Factory gets under your skin.

BLOOMIN BRILLIANT!! Karaoke night on tuesday was a laugh, and we broke the record for the the largest conga line (which i lead!) got up to mischief with the barmen which were all great, and us Sussex girls sang for Malcom. Anyone who was there from the 4th to 11th post a note and let us know what u remember- but i am not gonna forget that place in a hurry- best cocktails, best music, the best time!

Hmmm it seems The Factory has turned into 'cheese'. Everytime I passed the place (at around 12am)it had Greece (the musical) pounding out or other stuff equally as cheesy. I visted the club 2 summers ago and it was club music, this year it was something alot different. I agree with catering for all music tastes but it was certainly not doing this imo.

The factory is still in need of good bar staff.. to start a.s.a.p. and work till the end of the summer. there will be an opening of a breakfast/ fastfood and snack cook soon. Just back from another wild holiday in Argassi (although it was a bit quiet due to being start of the season). Anyway, the Factory Club is fab - great music, loads of platforms for you to dance on when you're steaming (or fall off of as we did). Well worth a visit although drinks a bit pricey.

Thanks to all the support from all of my friends from last year at the factory. Its nice to be back for another year of fun in the sun. Hope to see more of you over the next 5 months. Visitning argassi for second time this year, well we stayed in Zante august 7th till 14th aug 2003, but went on allocation on arrival and got laganas but we still forked out the taxi fare to come back to argassi acouple times to visit the Factory. Great place for a cheap drink, only really went there before going out for a meal. Cocktails only 3 euros before 10, good themed nights. Definately worth a visit

The first night we went to the factory it was pretty crap cos it was full of 12 year olds and they played ABBA! Went another night later on but v v crowded. Not really worth the trouble.

We have just returned from Argassi and spent many nights at The Factory. It was a great place to go and is very entertaining at the front bar.....great services and great cocktails from here!!!

We went here a couple of times but it never really livened up till about 1 so it isn't worth going there till then. The bar staff were really friendly and the drinks weren't to expensive.

You must go here if you visit Argassi - once we found it we came back every night! To all at The Factory - thanks for a great holiday!

This place was excellent. The barman Illios (you can't miss him - blonde hair and maybe wearing a pair of denim dungarees) was good fun always entertaining the ladies. The talent was good and your always guaranteed a snog!!! By the way this is were all the locals hang out at but they are friendly and don't annoy anyone. Infact there are quite a few very goodlookin' ones!!!

The staff are really friendly and you never wait long to be served. Good D.J's play all the good dance music. Usually starts to quiet down around 3am. Really good atmosphere, met some really nice people there, looking forward to going back in Aug 03. Give it a whirl.

I spent nearly every night of my holiday in the factory and it never got boring.the bar staff were always up 4 a larf and were always joking aroundnan i got on with them.i got myself one of the factory t-shirts coz they are good.me an my mates have goog memorys of this club and wont forget them thanks to (Natalie Baxter for giving me some loving and is now my girl friend,Jack,John,Matt,Lee,Dan,James,Abi,Ruth,Jenny and all the others who i new.il be back next year.Zante 2002.

The factory played alright music although the drinks were expensive.The toilets were rank and needs decent locks and doors!!!!!!barmen were funny, but the PR man was a right t*ss*r picked me up n gave me a cig burn.Anyone that was there in july, remember us,were the birds dat got up on the stage every night! iv been going to the factory for 5 years now and although it used to be called the pyramid it is just as good espacially with elias there he is so cool and the only reason we go through to argassi, and now that his nephew is there it is even better he is sooo nice. so elias if you read this ill see you next year and try to get a place in argassi instead of laganas. luv kerrie fae scotland.

Adele i will agree that for a 20 yr old student looking for somewhere like ibiza this is not the place to go! I have done the whole Ibiza thing years ago and this was perfect for me i was looking for a place to relax - the factory was good because i got mates with Stuart, Tony IT large, Dennis, and some other castaway workers (yannis, Nikos) and could pop in there for a few drinks when with them. I didnt spend all my time in the factory because we went for meals (Quality tavernas!!) and usually went back to my apartement with Stuart for some drinks (cheaper!) b4 hitting the factory for abit! It wasnt that busy which i liked because i was not there "on the pull" But at the end of the day it is definatly the place to go in argassi and you have got to admit they do try bloody hard to make it a good night - open to 4am!! As for your apartement you must have got a bad one as mine was fantastic! and i only paid £380 - sorry! Nad

My fella and I have been going here for 3 years now and know Dennis and Paris, the owners very well. They do speak English Adele and if you spared a few minutes to speak to them you would know this. I don't think it really matters what your 'suspiscions' of the barmens sexual preferences are either. Ilias and Den are two very genuine and nice blokes. i think, like the other people you seem to have irritated by your narrow minded interpretations of the zakinthians, that you should learn some manners and think before being so bloody racist!

Nadeem, we know Stu (aka Farm Boy) from Castaways. He's a really sound bloke! He made us take a picture of his white ass to remember him by! Didnt think much of his brown fleece though, he wore it when the temp was hitting 40 degrees!! We'll be back over to visit him and the others in early September - can't wait! Adele - can't believe ur only 20!! Christ we though u were writing from an old folks home!!

I am having to find a compromise between the Nad-Adele argument, i agree with what some of what each is saying, but my honest opinion of the factory is that it really is very good. maybe not as good as any english clubs but certainly the best (well, the only) one in argassi. as for the barmen not speakling english - er, they did to me! they are very funny, as was emilio - v.entertaining. and yess most of the clubbers are about 15-16 (the girls) but there are also a lot of older people (eg one night i saw an 80yr old in there having a jive!!) my advice would be to go quite late (it doesnt usually hot up untill 11:30) and just get up and dance if its quiet - people will follow your example. take a lot of money (after happy hour the drinks become v.expensive) but wnjoy as they have lots of theme nights - kareoke, beach, cowboy etc. certainly the best place for music and clubbing in argassi, i loved it !! :)

People have their own opinions & if they want 2 moan let them moan I mean it's not exactly ruining your holiday is it? By them moaning they are just ruining everything for themselves. Although I am only 13 I went to the factory & had a good time cause it's not something a 13 year old can do in England and if u don't like the fact that younger people are going then u should have found somewhere else to go it's up to the owner's and they didn't seem to mind. Going on holiday is supposed to be fun! Oh and by the way we didn't just stay in Argassi have u heard of hiring a car? We went to lots of places and it was a great holiday.

Hi Nad, Sorry for mistaking you for a girl earlier. I have been to several resorts in the Greek islands and have been very disappointed with this one. I simply look for more excitment from a holiday than what Argassi could provide, I however did not complain about the portions of chips - please stop mis-quoting me! As I have experienced more and more of life my expectations of a resort - particluary one that cost me the best part of £700 to visit - should be matched. Argassi was described to me a lively island - later I discovered it is a very family and couply orientated area which really should be emphasised when people book the holiday. At the time it was not, not until I arrived I could see this. As a 20 year old student I felt I was visiting my worst nightmare and was not a place I would visit again. I agree that Greece is a very basic island - not disputed as previously stated I have visited other Greek islands and I am very familiar with this. HOWEVER when your apartment is missing a third bed when stated it would have it I am sure some of you can appeciate the frustration and disappointment we experienced. If you liked Argassi - fine, brilliant. However I can only emphasis the fact that it is extremely tame when you are used to the likes of Ibiza, Rhodes and Corfu in comparsion. Alternatively Argassi had some of the best restaurants I have ever eaten in for very reasonable prices too. The only Greeks I have complained about are the owners of our apartments and the Greek men - these thoughts have been echoed by several others on this site. People take my opinions and are twisting them - I am sorry you do not agree with them but there we are.

HOw could i tell you are the type of person to start saying EU laws?? You really r sad. Adele i actually hired a car and explored the whole island so i didnt just stay in Argassi - i also went out in Llaganes 2 nights in a row but i dont really think its that great! I had greek friends and 1 english mate (stu from castaways) who i would hang around with everynight (does anyone else know stu?) and would rather stay in argassi with them then go to llaganes and just be 1 of 1000 people! You should really not go to greece again - i spoke to people and shop owners where i didnt spend alot and restuarant workers were always giving me and my girl free wine or gifts! Why you may ask? because i stopped talked to them in the little greek i knew and was generally nice! Grow up adele and stop being so naive! one day you may enjoy a holiday - I for one will be back in the Factory next year having a great time and meeting mates while you, no doubt, will be in a restuart claiming the EU law states you should serve a minimum of 10 chips and that you only have 9!!!!! How can anyone say the factory was great - do you not have eyes? standards? taste? Did you dare leave Argassi and go to Laganas where there were REAL clubs. I doubt the vast majority of the Factory punters did for fear of getting asked for id or for being away from their parents for too long. As for the owners of the accommodation only speaking Greek - if you are in the business for catering for a high commodity of English customers it may be a wise business move to learn the language. If you had paid as much as I had for a holiday that did not provide suitable sleeping conditons then I feel that it is within my rights, as a full-paying customer to conplain -after all it was falling short of many EU laws.

If you liked Butlins then this will be just up your street. Complete with an English DJ no one has ever heard of playing hits such as YMCA and the Pet Shop Boys you generally feel very embarassed to be there. The average age of one of their "clubbers" is approximately 15 and will be drinking their favourite alcopop until they throw up! The barmen think they are gods gift to women but I have a suspision that they are gay. The Greek men love this club as they can prey on young innocents who they hope to spend the night with or if they are lucky marry. The fact that even the PR has admitted to me as having problems with this disco demonstrates the exact reasons as to why it is important to stay away!

I loved the place , Ilios was cool , especially when he was throwing bottles and glasses in the air and catching them . Spent most my evening in there and will definately go again.

The Factory really gets going after midnight, but the music can be a little repetitive. BIG UP ELVIS. Watch out for letchy Greek guys - the safest place to be is the dance floor! The barmen are very entertaining, watch what they put in your free shots! Ask Andy to show you his piercings - there should be 10! If you're still around at the end of the night you won't be short of offers.

they make them pay like this as they dont trust them to give the right change as it is dark in there. We have been here for the last few years and found the staff great even though they change quite often. Paris and Dennis are lovely and although Ilias's practical jokes are a bit crap he is a really nice gyu. Sean and Andy are good lads too. It is quite pricey this year and the happy hour leaves a lot to be desired (50 cents off each drink - 33p) but its definately the best bar in town!

Great dance floor area and some good tunes to dance to late into the night. It had a great range of theme nights, something there for everyones taste.

we had the best time at the Factory Bar, very good with their alcohol input in cocktails, lots of fun and games were had with Aidan and Rob, we were always the last ones to leave, we just couldnt get enough! the staff were really friendly and funny. we have treasured memories of that place for 2 whole weeks and best wishes goes out to the barstaff that were there. We liked this bar.The staff are friendly and the cocktails are good. Watched the England v Greece match on the large screen which is inside and without glare from the sun. Good atmosphere.

Me and the missus have just got back from a wicked 2 weeks in Zante. Found the factory on the second night and went everynight thereafter(some nights were busying than others though, and at times you'd of thought it was the local youth club, hehe). DJ playing the same tunes everynight was the only downside, although it was always banging with peeps dancing and not many crusties sat round the sides. We were there between 11 September and 25th September so if u were at the factory club on the same nights drop me a mail. Probably the best place to go after 1am as elsewhere gets quiet but watch the beer prices - 1500 dracs (£3) for a bottle of Bud is probably most expensive in Argassi. Have to recommend the BREAKFAST though as it was by far and away the best in Argassi.

I went on holiday for two weeks in Argassi and it was great I enjoyed every minute of it. I went to the factory every day and night it was wicked to say the least. Everyone was polite and helpful and made u laugh. I am coming back to artgassi next year and I bet you now I am in the Factory every day and night again. The only thing I didn't like was when the DJ took the mick out of me and my mate but you have got to have a luagh anyway havent u.

I think the place Thelma Smit (message of 23801) is asking about is the Castaway, it only opened this year (I been going to Argassi for the past 5 years)and have not seen anything up there before. Myself and my partner where not impressed at all, we where kept waiting nearly an hour for our food and when it arrived it was stone cold, no one was interested in even giving us a menu. When we go next year if it is still open we will not be going.

hi i was on holiday for 3 weeks and the guys at the factory made my holiday the best that i had had in a long time. all the people that work there are brilliant but there are a few things that could be better. the greeks that work on the till outside need to chill out because thay are soooooo moody one more than the other so i suggest a bit of ganja and plenty of sex and if you can't get that then muy god have a w**k. apart from that and repeated music the factory is brilliant and i am definatrly going back there next year. love you all guys your the best see you next year. xxxxxxxxxxx

Went went about 9.30pm. Cocktails are good, especially with free shots. The other thing to watch is the amount of young people they allowed in, dancing etc.. at such a late hour. Yes, there on their holidays, but NO, it is too late for them to be out boozing and dancing with men and women who want al ot more than dancing.

This place does a top breakfast! The English guy, 'Charlie' what a sense of humour! and sexy too!!! All in all this place made our holiday, all the staff are great its the best place for everything, food, drink, sports events, you name it, it does it! Just take one look and you can see where we are coming from! All the best take care guys, love the 'Brummie Girls!'xxx

Before 12 this place is a nightmare - full of 16 year old girls screaming. It gets a little better later on with some good tunes but its too small and theres no real atmosphere. Having said that its the only actual club in Argassi and drinks are strong so its best to make the most of it!

I was in Argassi from the 18th of July. The factory was pretty good but the same music all the time except after 1am. Women BEWARE of the woman at the till - she is a witch! Out of season this club is a lap dancing club - and the witch is the main lapdancer!! NEED I SAY MORE!! If your even mildly attractive she will instantly hate you but after a few cocktails it becomes quite amusing!!

best place 2 end ur night, can get a bit boring by the end of 2 weeks. a few slimey men, but improved by a few fine bar men. drinks a bit expensive, music can be crap cos its the same most nights, but will be a good night as long as u r rather trollied. may visit next year. Also go 2 the "KISS" n meet the daddy!

It drinks here and music were really good but the bloke dressed as a clown outside was mega annoying and we were abit annoyed the way that they charge you more for drinks after a certain time in the night club part

I went to Argassi last year we went to Laganas befor hand and then to the Factory (then called the Pyramid).It was great, are there any pics up coz i had mine taken dancin on the bar wearin a mad hat that the big guy who worked there gave me!! Im goin bak in August with a mate so e mail me any one whoz gonna b there.One guy hassled my mate like crazy who works there! He has a shaved head and hes Greek, Got any idea who he iz ne 1?? He couldnt stand her saying no to him so that was annoying. But overall i hav to say its a fun place to go!!

Best breakfast in Argassi with proper english bacon. Charlie the clown & staff slightly annoying when walking past but they do a great job. Free shots in here.70's abd 80's disco great.Bar which turns into a club at the back later.

It has the best atmosphere in argassi the dj is good playing a wide selection of records from 70s pop like boneym and abba right up to the moderndance tracks. The barmen are good fun to watch but watch out what they charge you as it differs from time to time. The two outside do get on your nerves after a bit especially if you have to walk past the pub to get to your hotel

The best breakfast in Zante, the cheapest and biggest breakfast you'll find you get 3 eggs !!! plus the rest a proper full monty to clear a hangover!!! The cocktails at night are excellent to, be sure to say hi to the jester outside!!

This bar was most definitley the best one i visited, very friendly staff. They aren't shy on there shots! Great music and the perfect way to end the night.

If you are going to Zante and staying in Argassi then there is only one place to go and drink and party till you drop. Its the Factory Club, its Simply the best, i cant praise it enough. Especially if you are brithish the place is the mutts nutts. The Barmen are tops and damn good fun. Well I'm delighted to be the first to comment on the Pyramid Club! Four of us went last year to Argassi for 2 weeks, 12 nights of that were spent or ended in the Pyramid Club! Great entertainment, great people, great music. Drinks are a bit more expensive than the average bar but then the surroundings and the set out of the whole place are brilliant. Definately recommended for a good night (or twelve) out!
