Byzantine Museum

this place is full of paintings and artefacts rescued from the rubble after the earthquake, brilliant!!!!! there is even the (almost)entire interior walls of a monastary church, with all the wall paintings, if you fancy a bit of culture while you are on holiday go here, it was only 3 euros entrance fee, and well worth it.

took my 15yr old daughter there last year. she was quiet the whole time expect for the odd 'wow'

Great if you like loads of Byzantine art and old things, excellent model of Zankynthos town as it was before the earthquake.
