 Another favourite restaurant ... fab food, lovely staff and the service was excellent.  We visited in August and September and both visits were very enjoyable.  Would highly recommend the Lamb Stamnas, it is delicious.

It is a few years since we last visited this restaurant and cannot understand why. The Paolo Hot Pot and Lamb Stamnas was superb.

 We ate here twice whilst we were on holiday.  I had grilled prawns my husband had Lamb Stamas.  Both meals were excellent.  Staff very friendly.  Nice gesture of Mextaxa after the meals.

Closest restaurant to where we stayed, so we used it a couple of times, food and service were both good. Complimentary brandy was a bonus.

Always enjoy our meals here and this trip was no exception.  Good menu, service and reasonable prices. 

Paolos was our fave restaurant by far! The food was soooooooooooooooooo yummy! It's a good restaurant for familys as the staff are friendly and there's a childrens play area. It's also in a really nice setting, with grapes growng, and a lovely breeze for hot nights. we went there 3 times and it kept getting better!!!!!!

Paolo's what can I say-fantastic we ate here every night for two weeks.I was travelling alone with my son and was looked after extremely well by all the waiters and paolo himself.A special hello to sakis!

We had a lovely meal at Paolo's during our holiday.  Can recommend the vegetarian moussaka.  Good service in a pretty and relaxed setting. Enjoyed the complimentary liquers after the meal!

Excellent week in Kalamaki, together with excellent cuisine at Paulo;s sadly Theo and Adonis (afta)

were not present. But Sakis and George And Alexis and Spiro  and Paulo gave us their usual high class service, and I miss all the wonderful recipes like stifado and their moussaka is wonderful...well done. seeu on 2007 september...

Once again we ate here severtal times during our stay.  Paolo and the staff looked after us very well and the food was great.  Loved the new outside seating area which given the temperatures over the last two weeks was brilliant.

Remarkably, we had never eaten here before despite all the rave reviews, so we gave it a try and it was absolutely first class.  The food was excellent and served piping hot, and the house rose isn't bad either!  The service was very good and attentive, and you could gaze out onto the main street and people watch as you ate.  We ate here several times and it has become one of our favourite places to eat - well worth a try.

What a wonderful restaurant - we tried several others in the main street of Kalamaki but this was by far the best on many counts. The service was impeccable - very friendly and a warm welcome each time we went back. They even advised us on some Zakynthos beauty spots to visit by car. They definitely go the extra mile when it comes to customer service. We practically had a specific table reserved for us every night! A nice touch was experienced at the beginning and end of each meal at Paolo's with different complimentary bread (plain on the 1st night, with salsa on the 2nd night, toasted with salsa on the 3rd night etc.) at the start and a complimentary tipple/dessert at the end with the bill. They seem to reward returning customers with better and better service.

We went here several times over our 10 days and enjoyed our meal especially the Bekri, hot pot paolo, moussaka, lamb staminas and Kleftica. Price wise its very good value for money and even on a busy night (and there were several) the service didn't suffer.  It was nice to see everyone again this year and look forward to returning in June.

We had two great meals here in August.  Can recommend the Lamb Stamnas and the Chicken Wings...both were delicious.  The waiters were some of the nicest we've met and the service was excellent.  Thanks guys...and see you again next year

We are coming back to Kalamaki for the 2nd time this year and as usual we will be eating at Paolo's every night. It is trully the best place to eat and the service from the very nice waiters is first class. Looking forward to seeing you all on the 6th October  Have our table ready!!!!!

I have got to say that this restaurant is my favorite. The food is excellent and the staff very friendly.

We have been going to Kalamaki now for 6 years and Paolos is one of a few places that we go to more than once during the holiday. Infact this year we went 4 times.

Couldn't recommend this place enough.

Huge menu to choose from - something for all tastes.  Great greek food, pizzas, meat dishes, fish etc. etc. Try it once and you'll go back!

what sort of foods?

Thanks to everyone at Paolo's for feeding us so well over the last two weeks.  As usual the food was great - we tried some of our old favourites - bekri meza, lamb staminas, kleftica, mousakka and we never disappointed.

Best restaurant on the whole island, went there about 9 times on a 14 night holiday.

Staff very friendly, food lovely, dont go anywhere until you have tried paolo's A*********************

we arrived in kalamaki at about 10pm feeling very tired and yukky, just wanted something to eat before going to bed..... what we didn't expect was such a lovely warm welcome!!!!!

the food was second to none, the service was fantastic. very friendly, nothing was too much trouble then the bill came.... cheap to boot.

teo was our favourite waiter!!!! closely followed by hassan, alex and maria behind the bar!!!!

paolo is the nicest restaurant owner we have ever met.

Hi to all at Paolos, and a big hello to Teo and Tanya. Again you've made our stay at Zanti more enjoyable, with great food, and service. An to any new comers, I'v been to Kalamaki every year for the last 7 years, always ate at Paolos, so a big 10 out of 10 from me, with high recommentations to visit the friendly staff here. So I'll see you all again in about 3-4 weeks, and I can't wait. Love Vicky x

We eat here once and the Spag Biol was 4 euros! It was lovely and very cheap. Would definatly go again!

this is an excellent restaurant. the staff are really friendly and we had a great time. the pizzas were fab and we came here several times! 10/10! fab guys!

Superb food, cannot recommend the moussaka enough! Huge and so fresh!
My partner had the souvlaki which was equally as good. House red wine delicious, waiters extremely attentive and food was reasonably priced.

We have been on holiday to zante for the past 4 years and found paolo's to have excellent food and staff every year. look out for a waiter called Andonis he's very friendly and became a good friend.

This place was recommended to us on our first day by an 8 year old boy. We had a lovely evening. The staff were friendly and the food delicious. We also received shots with our bill.

Believe all the hype - Paolo's is the most fun restaurant we visited on our holiday (4 times in fact). You will find better food in Kalamaki but not a better evening. The waiters are 10/10. Excellent place to visit with a family as there is a children's play area to one side of the restaurant.

Thanks to everyone there. We will return!

Was a bit disappointed with this one after having good meals here previously. My husband had a mixed grill which comprised of half a sausage, a tiny chop, a chickenless drumstick and not much else. The rice and carrots on all our meals were stone cold.

This place was superb, the waiters make your evening so enjoyable and the setting is very good, we had fantastic meals as advised by the waiters and when we return to zante it will definitely be 1 of the 1st places we visit, cheers!

The food at Paolo's was the best on the island. We tried the mousakka, lamb, pizza, spag bol and carbonara and they were all wonderful

Did you really mean to rate it as average as you've affected the rating by posting so many times as average, and in our opinion this place is excellent.

We first ate here 4 years ago, and we can't help going back year after year, it's excellent. We like all the starters and main courses but try ordering just starters and ask for their recommendations (you will end up will a table full of food and it's delicious even with the dishes you haven't thought of, the bread with tomato and garlic is particularly good and not on the menu). Just be warned they speak very good English and will happily customise straws so that the kids can steal their parents drinks!!!!!!!!!!!

Friendliest locals in kalamaki!Great food,with same prices as other restaurants,but this was only restaurant where you actually felt welcome.Only place to eat in kalamaki!
