stopping here end of september does anyone know if it has air con and do they do late check out rooms as our flight back is not till 9pm

we did not stay at the apartments but we ate here and used the pool. george and kiki are really welcoming and excellent cooks. i would recommend anyone to try the hamburgers and the chicken a la creme. they are to die for! heaven on a plate!

In answer to Maureen's question, the Aspassia is close to the Bolero bar. Walk past the bar and the supermarket, and past a block of apartments, there is a tuning on your right down a lane, signposted for a beach bar. The Aspassia is  about 100 yards down the lane on the left.  The beach is at the end of the lane. It is a great place to stay. George and Kiki are great hosts. The pool is always kept clean. It also one of the few places you get a really good breakfast with proper mushrooms (not tinned), bacon and sausage. The rooms are a good size and are kept very clean. I hope you enjoy yourself as much as we did.

Have just got back to England after spending a week in the Aspassia Studios and what a great place to stay I would recommend it to anyone and would go back again, George, Kiki children and the Kittens were great look out for George's Dirty jokes and his t-shirts. We couldn't have asked for a better week the weather was fantastic 35 when we arrived at 8 in the evening and even hotter during the day. You have to have one of George's Toasties or French fry sandwiches (Chip Buttie) The apartments are clear and tidy with plenty of room. One but if advice get air con otherwise you will find it hard to sleep. The location is great just a 2 mins walk to the beach and about 5-10 min walk to the main town which is a great place to have a quiet meal or plenty to drink.

Can anyone tell me where these apartments are in relation to demetris bar or the tsilivi beach or the bolero bar ? from the map we are guesssing it is near the bolero bar ?? but he picture looks like it is on the path that runs at the back of zante maris hotel ? please help

I haven't yet been to the Aspassia studios, I have just booked for May next year however, my mum lives in the town and says they are lovely, close to  the beach and fairly central. We stayed in the Admirals last time and whilst it may be fine for families or teenagers just looking to party all night :) , we're a couple in our twenties and prefer to stay somewhere a little quieter and smaller. The Aspassia studios seem perfect and the reviews are excellent.

I didn't stay at the Aspassia Studios, but I did stay in Tsilivi at the start of August this year. Me and my friend found Magdalenas to be one of the best bars in Tsilivi, and Planet was also good when Magdalenas had died down, if you like a loud nightlife then they are the two best bars in Tsilivi in my opinion! I don't know what the weather is going to be like but it was in the 30s when i went! Hope you enjoy your holiday!

Hi Everyone We've been going to Tsilivi for a few years, but didnt go last season. My sister and i are travelling next week and stayng in the aspassia, but don't know where it is. We know the mavrikos end of tsilivi and popeyes, but have no idea where abouts we are staying. Please can someone give us a clue? Thank you Lxxx

we loved every minite when we came last year , we are going back end of sept lovely and clean and friendly could not ask for better hosts. george did you get our letter, if any one knows the address of aspassia studios please let us know or please e-mail us would be most grateful

We are neighbours of George and Kiki of Aspassia Studios.  They have four young children themselves, so you will find it very child-friendly.  I've just checked with Kikitsa and they will provide you with a cot.  By the way, you will be very close to the beach, which is shallow, and wonderful for kids.  Enjoy your holiday.

Hi, can anyone please help. Just booked a 2wk holiday to the Aspassia Studios in June 05. I know the apartments sound basic, but, does anyone know if they provide cots or will we have to bring our own? Our daughter is 18 months and was also wondering if they have a kids pool??

this was my 15th time in tsilivi, last year on our walk about we came accross aspasia studios garry my partner noticed a sign for sunday lunch. the dogs bollocks well it is, on a cold winter night in december we remembered this so we got on the internet and booked a week, i celebrated my birthday while i was there also on the same day garry and i got engaged, thankyou george for my birthday cake. we had a fantastic time with george and his wife kiki and there wonderful children who are so happy and well behaved and always say hello, they both work very hard and nothing is to much trouble we felt part of there family and i would highly recommend anyone staying at aspasia studios we will again love to george and kiki see you soon love caroline n garry xxxx

Marie. The Aspassia Studios are about 100 meters past the Tsilivi Beach Hotel going towards the harbour. They also lay back from the beach 50 / 75 meters. As the beach narrows you see some steps and gate posts (no gate) these lead to a road, the Aspassia is on the right hand side, go through the entrance and George's bar is the first one you come to.

CAN U SAY WHERE IT IS OR WHAT IT IS NEAR? GOING IN 2WEEKS. 

We have been visiting the island of Zakynthos since 1994. We have stayed at the Aspassia Studios five times and cannot fault it one bit. I stayed there when George and Maikis still spoke to each other, what happened I don`t know but we like them both. If you are looking for somewhere to stay in Tsilivi then go to the Aspassia, you will not be disappointed. We have tried other places in  Tsilivi, they have been nice but they can`t beat the Aspassia. If you read this George, it`s from June and Keith. We went to Los Angeles and Las Vegas this year, but we`ll be back in Tsilivi next year (2006). All the best and take care.

DO`NT WORRY ABOUT THE TAXI DRIVERS, THEY SEEM TO KNOW EVERY HOTEL ON THE ISLAND & WILL FIND IT NO PROBLEM, WE ARE ALSO GOING IN MAY & HAVE BOOKED A TAXI.

Can anyone please give me a procise location for the Aspassia Studios, we are booked to go there in May but without any coach transfers. We know the taxi will get us to Tsilivi witouth any problems, but the driver may not know where these studios are. The name of a major hotel on the same road or well known location would assist. THIS WAS OUR FIRST TIME IN TSILIVI,AND OUR FIRST TIME IN ASPASSIA STUDIOS, WE HAD A WONDERFUL VIEW OF THE SEA FROM OUR BALCONY AND THEY WERE VERY CLEAN, TOWELS AND BEDDING WERE CHANGED ON A REGULAR BASIS,IT IS A VERY QUITE AREA AND THE POOL IS GOOD.
THE BEACH IS NOT FAR JUST A 5MIN WALK AWAY AND THE SHOPS ALSO ARE NOT FAR EITHER.
WE HAD A BRILL TIME AND MICK DID NOT WANT TO LEAVE NEITHER DID I,GEORGE&KIKI MADE YOU FEEL SO AT HOME AND RELAXED WE WILL BE GOING TO ASPASSIA NEXT YEAR,AS WE WENT DOWN AND BOOKED YESTERDAY FOR SAME TIME NEXT YEAR.

We chose the Aspassia studios very much on the strength of the comments made by people like us as these often reflect the real picture. When we saw the comments we were impressed and my wife and I would like to say that it was every bit as good as we anticipated.

George and Kiki are the most helpful hosts and you are treated as though you have been life long friends. Nothing is too much trouble and will do anything they can to assist or help should you need it.
As for the children Aspassia and Costas (twins) and Thassos are just lovely children, never got to see the new baby as she was in the house all the time (didn't have a name for her yet, knowing George it will be something fcuk'in good).

If you're going to visit try and take George a fcuk t-shirt as he has a collection of over 40, preferably an insinuating one.
What else can I say, the apartments were basic but no less than what you would expect, cleaned and linen changed regularly. Very nicely located, 2 mins from beach, 15 mins from Tsilivi centre, supermarkets close by (1 min) and plenty of restaurants.

The pool is kept clean and tidy and food can be cooked whenever you wish (does a mean bacon buttie, proper bacon), and make sure you have a good memory of what you've bought because he always says pay me later.

All in all this is what we go for, not the rooms but the hospitality and would recommend this by the bucket load. We will now be changing our minds on destinations for 2005 and be going back to Zante - Tsilivi for the 3rd year running and staying at the Aspassia if at all possible.

POSITION:- the apartments really are about 50 yds from the beach. The apts are nearer the Planos end which is a much better part of Tsilivi. About 200 yards to the main road where you will find all the bars, restaurants & shops. Although the nearest supermarket is only about 30 yds away.

QUITENESS:- was only woken up once during the night, but this was due to dogs barking rather than loud music or loud peeps etc.

APARTMENT:- cleaner came every day, although i wouldnt really recomment cooking anything in the apartment. All rooms face the sea and the pool. Try to get an upstairs apartment if possible. Pool was quite small but always quite and kept very clean.

BAR & OWNER:- there are two parts to Aspassia Studios, one half of it houses English, and the other half houses czech guests. George & Kiki look after the english half, while Georges estranged brother (they do not talk to each other any more!!) looks after the Czechs. George is a great bloke and really looks after his guests, we didnt meet Kiki & their children as she was in Athens giving berth to their fourth child when we were there. Although this didnt stop george as he came out on the Mythos with us once or twice (the bad lad!!)

OVERALL:- If we were going to Tsilivi again (most definately) we would try to get in at aspassia before anywhere else. It is quite basic but the location and the hospitality of the owners more than makes up for it!!

I called Thompson about these studios and they gave me a good price and a little picture however that is it, for some reason they cannot give me more details other than its got a pool, and fans for hire.
Now anyone who has been there could you please answer this for me.
On their one webpage it says there is satellite tv - does each unit got a tv set?
What does the studios consist of? Are there twin beds, bath or shower etc?
Does it get cleaned regularly, how much does the fan hire cost per day?
Is it very noisy late at night(we are going mid sept)

Please reply asap as i have to confirm the booking tomorrow or decline their offer.

We went to Tsilivi, 3 years in a row... George & Kiki are great company, we will really miss them. We have now emigrated to Perth, W.A. but would not hesitate to return. They cook great, tasty food, the BBQ's every week are a must, even if you are not staying there. Fab burgers and traditional greek food. Very pretty surroundings, nice, quiet & friendly. Geroge, Kiki, Kostas, Apassia and Thasos, Hope you are all well, will write soon love Jo, Terry, Ronnie & Millie!

We have been going to Zante for about four years now,and George,Kiki and thier lovely children have become our friends and we always go back and see them.You are made so welcome,the atmospere around the pool and bar is so enjoyable and relaxing.Also just a stones throw from the beech,it is definatly recomended.

The company to book Asspassia is "Thompson Warm & Friendly". An excellent choice we have been there many time, Yiorgo and Kiki are the best and their children are georgous.

I want to stay at the asspassia studios in Tsilivi next August (2004) but I can't find out which tour operator deals with them, can anyone help?

Next door to the Tsilivi Beach Hotel a new hotel is being built, walk up the lane at the side/behind this approx 200yds to find Aspassia studios. Alternatively directly behind TB Hotel is a bar and supermarket with Neraider studios next door at the top of a lane, walk down the lane toward the beach 100yds to Aspassia.

I will be stopping at the aspassia in may next year, it will be my third visit to tsilivi. I am just wondering where abouts it is!!
I have stopped at tsilivi beach hotel and the trianon, is it near any of these??

We had a fantastic holiday in June of this and have been going to stay at the Aspassia for the last seven years and will continue to do so for the forseeable future - what does that tell you. George, Kiki and their wonderful children are the best hosts and nothing is too much trouble. The location close to the beach is great and it's very peaceful. Can't wait to go back.

Our second visit to Tsilivi but the first to Aspassia. George and Kiki were marvellous hosts and nothing was too much trouble. The apartments were basic but clean, the pool and surroundings were brilliant, our neighbours weren't bad either. Kiki's home made beef burgers are a must along with the Aspassia's weekly bar-b-q and the rest of the bar meals. We'll go back again one day for sure.

Just had a great time in these studios. Nice people. VERY HOT and some mossies so be prepared. Also animal lovers, please look after 'Snowy' the little black orphan kitten. He was adopted by us all and we even took him to the vet for his eyes. If you go please update this as to his progress.

A lot of return customers says a lot for these apartments. It is a pity that the owners George and Mikey have fallen out and run competing bars at each side of the pool.Apart from that I would recommend here to anyone wanting a relaxing holiday close to beach and lots of tavernas.

We're going back for our fourth visit to Asspassia in July. We've met others there who've been there for the past 7 years. George and Mikey the owners are brilliant. Good snacks, pool, close to the beach and clean. Have fun.
