Princess Hotel

Excellent hotel and staff And a great location

Hi we have been going here for the last 4/5yrs to this complex and have booked our holiday for June 2014 to the Mavrias Appts which is part of this complex, we have been looking on the Thomas Cook web site for my sister to come at the same time as us, but the Mavrias would not come up on any dates at all for 2014 which is strange as its only October 2013,on chatting with Thomas Cook on line they said there are no available dates at moment for 2014 they didn't say why strange again we thought, has anyone had the same problem or has anyone heard there is any problems at the Mavrias or are they having any problems with Thomas Cook we would really like to hear if anyone knows if there is a problem a.s.a.p  so we can sort our holiday out rather sooner than later thank you

Just got back from a stay at the princess and have to say I was disappointed. The room was very small by comparison to others and the bathroom was no bigger than a phone box. The standard of cleaning wasn't good at all. We had to pay 7euro per night for a/c (which is essential) and a fridge was a further 5euro per day. The pool too is very small and as a result seemed to be continually overcrowded. Also, and I'm not racist, but there were lots of eastern Europeans there who are not the friendliest of people. On a more positive note, the staff are friendly enough and quite helpful.

Hi Jackib thanks for that glad to hear things are much the same without Freddy/Sonia, cant make it this year anyway, will be going all being well next year after you comment as we love the place.

 went to princess this may, and have to say fantastic, clean, staff are brilliant cant do enough for you rooms clean Katerina on bar and generally looking after the place is superb.  to alan dont hesitate you get same service just different people still brilliant

Hi everyone, don't no if anyone else has heard that Freddie&Sonia have left the Princess/Mavrias this year. We were gutted when we heard this because we have got to know them both so well over these past few years , had a few beers with both and a few good laughs as I say gutted. We  were going to book to-day 25th May for the Princess Hotel for 2014 now we don't know what to do because we have been going there for the last 5 years and now thinking will it be the same without them, we will need to wait to see if anyone who have been this year and see what they think now they have left. They have opened a new restaurant up near theTwo Brothers with Freddies two brothers Billy & Andraess?(spelling) called the acropollis ?(spelling again) so if anyone wants to visit them this is where you will find them. Good luck to the both of them we hope it all works out for these two lovely people. 

What can I say that has not already been said. Freddie and the staff are amazing. I have been to the resort several times and will definitely be returning to. Amazing location which is central to everything happening and yet quite even to chill out and relax. Friendly, welcoming atmosphere that will make you want to stay again and again. Donna and Kevin

Just booked our 6th holiday to Tsilivi Zante staying at the princess hotel yet again!!!

Really looking forward to going back to see Freddy, Babis, Dimi, Helen and of course the Island!

We are going on the 26th August so should be really hot, you cannot go wrong with this hotel, really clean really friendly and they will do anything for you. You have to try out the Paradise Bar which is just on the right if you leave the hotel on the left, what a graet place to have a few cocktails and plenty of jack daniels. We just cant stop going back as we know what we are getting, A lovely restaurant to visit is the Trente Nove just before you get to the beach on the left ( lovely lamb and beautiful tiramasu!!!)

Great holiday just arrived back on 8 june. Very close to shops and great bars, try jokers bar for cocktails get the jugs rather than the single cocktails you get about 7 glasses instead of 1.ask to see charlotes jugs ha ha paradise bar is just to the left of the hotel for a great night of fun with stavros.for the best breakfast go down to magdelanas outstanding value .the beach is not very far.I would go back tomorrow.the staff are very freindly and helped us with our cases to the room. This hotel is very well located for all shops and bars right in the centre of everything.Very clean but basic

fantastic hotel/apartments, there is not 1 bad thing to be said. From the very beginning of our week when Freddy sprinted up the driveway to greet us and help with our bags, we felt so relaxed and welcome. Nothing is too much trouble for any member of staff there. If you have been before you will notice on your next visit that they have done a bit of building work over the winter, the bar area has been changed around, the pool has had its depth altered so it is more kid friendly, new loungers around the pool, lovely cream/white rattan with co ordinating sofas in the pool bar area. We ate breakfast/lunch here most days and it was always tasty, well cooked and well priced. We always returned after our evening meal for a drink and the service was 1st class. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apt which had more than enough room for us and our 2 girls, the bedroom was bigger than ours at home. Nicely furnished and kept clean. Maids came in everyday and towels where changed 2 maybe 3 times during our weeks stay. We shall certainly return, everyone we spoke to had been here at least once before, they seem to get a lot of repeat business which is not surprising considering the service the give. Fantastic postion next to warm & fresh bakery (smell is divine) and all bars, restaurants, shops etc are on the doorstep. Freddy, Tony, Vanessa ( i think, sorry if I have got mixed up with her name ) are a real credit to this place. I could go on & on but I think you can guess that this is a great place for your holidays!!

Echo the earlier comments....it would be difficult to find a better place to stay in Greece. We stayed in the studios, which were clean, well furnished and equiped, A fabulous two weeks. The staff Freddy et al were superbly helpful and very friendly. Looking forward to an early return to this fantastic chill out place!

We have just come back from a week at Mavrias,part of the hotel princess,had a great holiday,all clean & tidy would definately go back,all the staff were friendly,Freddy.Eva,Tanny at the pool bar were great.Shame we only had a week!!!!

The hotel was very clean and very friendly , but if you are gonna go to this hotel as for a balcony beacuse we were right near the pool and in the day you have people right near your room staring and at night till 2 you  had the man who ran the hotel and his family just sat right infront of our room and i would reccomend this hotel for young familys it not suiable for teenages but over all it was good

I STRESS  - U WILL NOT FIND A BETTER PLACE TO STAY IN TSILIVI!!!!!!!!!!

Just got back from tsvilli what a great holiday freddy was great all the staff was helpful clean room and fresh towels the only problem was the dogs slept all day but barked all night i was glad to get home to av a good nights sleep. hello to dave and ann x

was the 2nd time i have been to zante and the fisrt time i was in tsilivi, even though there

was a few arguments with my bf i had the best time ever because of freddie he really made it an

enjoyable holiday, had plenty of fun. all the best to any one else who goes there u will enjoy it if you like shots and are up for a laugh! Fun to all who goes!!!!

  Having just got back from Tsilivi, we had a great holiday, this hotel was very clean, clean towels every other day, all staff worked very hard, the only problem we had was the dogs, they seemed to bark all night, other then that a nice holiday, a big hello to Dave and Ann, nice couple!!!

just got back from Zante a couple of days ago. it was good!!! but the disapointment was that we never had clean towels and sheets every day. it is also very expensive. its alot dearer than the uk.

i would go to Zante again but i would stay in a all inclusive hotel.
