We liked this hotel. The rooms are clean. The pool area is nice and there are plenty of sunbeds. The breakfast was nothing to get excited about, but it's continental so what do you expect. Luckily the hotel is set back from the road so the traffic and cockrel noise is reduced!! There is air-con in the rooms so that also helps. All the staff are friendly and helpful, any requests we had were always dealt with promptly. It's situated at the opposite end of the resort, away from the beach. It's a 2 minute walk past Sandras Bar on the left hand side of the road. It's a 10 minute walk into the resort to the bars etc.

Petros Hotel
Where can I find the location map for this Hotel?
I have visited this resort and know some of the local landmarks ie some bars and eating places.

We have just returned rom the Hotel Petros and had an absolutely fantastic time. We have been to Tsilivi several times and would say the Petros is one of the best hotels there. The staff are very friendly and efficient and Stefanos is excellent behind the bar. The hotel is extremely clean and the maid service is excellent. I would recommend the Petros to anyone and we will definitely be returning next year.

We Returned yesterday Sunday 1st August, we had one week at the hotel but now really wished we had booked two!
The hotel is very clean, the staff are friendly and very helpful.
The pool area is excellent, lots of sun beds available and the pool is the best i've ever used, the pool bar is open all day and late into the night selling snacks and drinks, we ordered a tuna sandwich, it came with chips and it was the size of a dinner plate all for about 3.50 euros now thats what I call real value for money.

The breakfast was absoloutly fine! There is a selection of eggs, ham jam, honey, cornflakes, natural yoghurt, and peaches, tea and coffee, oh yes and the bread, I found that almost everywhere we went in Tsilivi the bread was a little dry but very edible.

The hotel is in a very quiet location, but unfortunatly there are some guests that really have no consideration for others when arrving back in the early hours, but I think you would find that anywhere you would go at the height of the holiday season, but my real pet hate is the local cockral which crowed most of the night, I think someone should make him dinner and soon!

I highly reccommend this hotel to everyone I know and will return myself probably next July Thanks for making our stay in Tsilivi a lovely experience.

The Hotel Pedros was maned by warm and friendly staff and the Hotel itself was impecable. The down side was the breakfast which was not worthy of two weeks half board. The bread was stale and the ham had a 2% of meat and the rest was fat, i would easly have paid for accomadation only knowing this now. I would stay here again. The rooms were the best i have stayed in Greece as they were claen and reasonably modern. The beach is 15 minutes away and the hotel is located on the out skirts of town.do not miss out on the Maximas Taverna as you head into town, the best food, best price and warmest hosts you'll ever meet.

We stayed at the Petros in July this year. The resort of Tsilivi is very nice and we would certainly go there again. There are very many good restaurants to choose from - too many in fact! We ran out of days to try more. I would say go to Koukos without fail - it is fantastic. As for the Petros - not so sure we would go again. We thought our room was not cleaned very well. I don't think the sink and shower were cleaned in the 2 weeks we stayed there. The toilet looked very dirty too. There only seem to be 2 cleaning ladies who must be very overworked! They serve breakfast in the dirtiest overalls I have ever seen IN MY LIFE!! Then go on to clean rooms. We found the breakfast very dissappointing - the same every day. It is OK if you like bread, peaches, and cardboard cereal. The staff were mainly very friendly although the famed Stefanos preferred to serve glamerous girls and could be temperamental and rude. I know that he really offended some people who we spoke to.

WHAT A LET DOWN. NOT THE HOTEL AS IT WAS VERY NICE BUT THE STAFF ESP STEFANOS HAD IGNORANT ATTITUDES (LISTEN TO HOW IMMATURE AND IGNORANT THIS IS) STANDING AT THE BAR WAITING TO BE SERVED, STEPHANOS WAS CHATTING TO A COUPLE OF GIRLS WHILE I ORDERED TO ICE CREAMS NOT PAYING ATTENTION TO ME AND TO MUCH ATTENTION ON THE GIRLS HE PREPARED ME TWO MILK SHAKES (AN EASYMISTAKE TO MAKE)THIS WAS NOT THE PROBLEM. HE MADE ME FEEL LIKE I WAS THE ONE WHO HAD MADE THE MISTAKE AND ACTING CHILDISH BY BANGING THINGS AROUND WHILE PREPARING THE CORRECT ORDER HE MADE ME FEEL VERY UNCOMFORTABLE IN FRONT OF THE OTHER GUESTS IT WAS AS IF MY CUSTOM WASNT NEEDED. I MUST HIGHLIGHT THE FACT THAT I HAVE PREVIOUSLY WORKED BEHIND MANY BARS AND NEVER TREATED CUSTOMERS THIS WAY. ALSO ANYONE WHO IS OFFERED ROOM 208 TELL THEM TO GET STUFFED IT IS LIKE A BROOM CUPBOARD WITH A GORGEOUS WALL VIEW AND IF YOU LOOK ROUND U GET A POOL VIEW OF ANOTHER HOTEL (VERY NOISY AT TIMES)DO NOT GET ME WRONG THE RESORT ITSELF IS FAB ESP JOKER THE BAR I JUST WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND PETROS TO ANYONE AND I AM A TRAVEL AGENT AND HAVE DONE THE JOB FOR THREE YEARS. ALSO BEWARE SHARP OBJECTS THAT LIVE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE POOL. NICOLA AND SCOTT(X BARMAN)

To Stefanos
Had a lovely week in June cant wait to come back in October for some more of your 'special cocktails' !!! See you soon.

We spent a lovely 2 weeks at the Hotel Petros and it was one of the nicest Hotels I have stayed in for the price we paid for the holiday. It's a fairly new Hotel, only 2 years old so everything is still as new and lovely and clean. Rooms have fridge's and air conditioning available at an extra cost and all have a balcony. The staff are all really friendly and make sure you make friends with Stefanos as he'll make you a 'special ' cocktial
The location is a little walk away from Tsivili centre and about a mile from the beach so makes for a little bit of a walk when it's really hot but it gives you the chance to check out the restaurants for the nights meal!
With the Hotel being out of the main town it's a quiet location but beware of the cockeral accross the road which never shuts up!

The Petros is at the southern end of the town of Tsilivi, about 150 metres before the centre. Tsilivi is the cleanest, quietest of the main resorts on Zante about 5k north of Zakynthos town.
It is B&B, the rooms are great, the staff brilliant. Fridge, TV, A/C and safe in all rooms. The breakfast is continental style but good.

10 out of 10, a must stay hotel

We've just come back having had a brilliant week at the Petros. It's brand new so everything is clean and working. The bathrooms are immaculate, with a shower that works and doesn't have to be hand held. It is about a mile to the beach, and just outside the centre of the town. It's about a five minute walk Tsivili centre, but you can't hear any noise from the hotel. There are a couple of lively bars, Jokers is one of them. The Calypso is an excellent restaurant to name but one. The pool at the Petros is excellent, and we never had a problem with the sunbeds. Stefanos who runs the bar is very friendly and arranged a pool party for us while we were there -with swimming until gone midnight. If anyone who was booked into the Victoria (see my previous comments re that hotel) and you get moved to the Petros, I only hope you enjoy it as much as we did. All the staff are friendly and all in all we think it was an excellent hotel. Mike and Seri
