Strofades,

 What an excellent hotel you will really enjoy the atmotsphere at the hotel. We made really nice friends there, maybe we could have made more if it wasn't for the language barrier but still everyone was really pleasent. The bar staff were so entertaining and made the holiday somthing else. Caracus is the bar man and was really helpul and gave us some great advice and tips on how to eat greek, drink greek and live greek for the two weeks. The hotel is on the beach 2 seconds away. There is a little taverna to the right of the hotel and it is superb, family run..we had such a good laugh with the waiter George, Taught us some essential Greek!!! The maids worked so hard from 6 in the morning till as late as 4 we seen them. SPOTLESS! Tsilivi is a really nice place but is looking like it could be spoilt by all the big companies eg MACDONALDS  . We was so shocked, beautiful greek restaurants and people eat THERE! What is going on? But the bars are brill recommend Traffic bar, Enigma, Red Lion, and Paradise bar oh an Tacis Place. The hotel had two Greek nights and they were excellent so much fun it was brill. dancing round the pool shouting UPPAH!!

For Dinner - Majestic is top!!! Really nice food no deli belly and nice staff. Then Popeyes worth a trip.

Please can anyone let me know the location of this hotel, is it north or south of Tsilivi or anywhere near the pheonix hotel?

I was just wondering if the hotel offered currency exchange facilities at reception. Also is it possible to hire safes?

My boyfiend and i are staying at the Stofades in June. We'd like to know a bit about it from someone who has been there. Can anyone help us please? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

Loved the hotel, it was clean, bright and in a good location. The staff were friendly and helpful and the bar and pool were lovely. Returning again this year

Really glad that you had a fantastic holiday in Tsilivi. I'm not surprised that you are thinking of going back next year, the hotel is in the perfect position - I knew you'd love it when you got there! We have just booked to come here again(!) next year at the end of July, might see you there! Next summer can't come soon enough! ...

just got back and had the best holiday ever. we are even thinkin
of going back next year. the hotel was excellent and we tried
manos grill and i have to agree it was one of the best resaurants
we tried we even got taken into the back to say thank you to
grandma and she gave us all big hugs. it was excellent. the hotel
is fab and the rooms are great with stunning views and rite on
the beach to. what more can you ask?
the staff were great and we got loads of free drinks from pascalis
all in all it was a fantastic holiday and thanks for all the help you
gave before we went it was much appriciated.

Without any hesitation I’d eat at Manos Grill! (Walk on to
Popeyes, past the Red Lion pub and keep going for a bit, Manos
is on the left, back from Two Brothers pub.) We went there just
about every night and have done every year we go to Zante.
Sounds a bit sad I know, but we’ve tried other places and always
end up going back to Manos! Just read some of the comments
about it on this website, you won’t be disappointed. Try the
chicken and bacon souvlaki, swordfish with lemon sauce and
the village sausage, all delicious! Say hello to Manos and Maria
from Claire and Garry! Also, if you like pizza/pasta then try the
New Fioro restaurant, that’s a good place to eat too (across the
road and a bit further on from Manos). Anyway enjoy your holiday.

been able to find any reviews or reports on the
hotel. jus 1 more thing... can you recommend
any good resturants around tsilivi that we
could try and is there anything to do in the
evenings entertainment wise????

Yes, all rooms at the Strofades have air conditioning, a fridge/mini bar and a hairdryer. Not sure about a laundry though. The rooms are large and very clean with a great shower - towels are changed everyday! An army of cleaners keep the hotel absolutely spotless and the staff are fantastic. Because the hotel is right at the end of the beach it is really quiet throughout the day. You don't have to get up at 6am to reserve your sunbed either! Most days when we were there, there were loads of beds still available at lunchtime! The pool bar is fab for lunch and Mango Beach Bar is literally 30 paces onto the beach. The walk into the centre of Tsilivi takes about 15 mins but we quite enjoyed it. In all, as I mentioned before, after travelling to Tsilivi for the last six years, this is without a doubt the best hotel we've stayed in - you will love it! Let me know if you need to know anymore!

do the rooms at the hotel have air con and is
there a hair dryer supplied and a fridge or mini
bar. also is there a laundry nearby?

Just returned from this hotel. Having been to Zante for the past six years this was the best hotel that we have stayed in. Fantastic location, a minutes walk to the beach, very clean and well equipped rooms. Good choice for breakfast and the bar staff seem to give away more drink than they sell.

we are stayin at the strofades hotel for 2
weeks starting on the 20th aug 04. does
anyone know anything about it because we
have been unable to find any reviews on it.
