The best restaurant I have ever visited. Very friendly staff, familly atmosphere. I really enjoyed eating here on my hollydays. When we came there for the first time, we knew it was not our last time in Popeye's

My sister in law and myself found Popeyes on the second day of our holiday, we tried another restaurant one evening as we had been out on a tour all day and were really shattered, but we were so disappointed that we went back to Popeyes every other evening, we mostly had the traditional Greek dishes and particularly enjoyed the Kleftika, the staff are very helpful and make you feel special, if we go again we would go back to Popeyes for all evening meals

Just come back from a second trip to Tsilivi. This time we decided to try Popeyes for breakfast (we'd heard how good it was!), and i'm so glad we did. We went back every morning. The choice is fantastic and Andrew & the rest of the staff there just make you so welcome & at home!! Nothings too much trouble! We even got given free Popeyes mugs before we left on the last morning. This place is a must if you are staying self catering in Tsilivi!!

Only just back from Tsilivi. Had breakfast in there every day cooked to perfection wheather the mega large breakfast or omlette as for the steak what can i say outstanding. Nothing is to much trouble for Dennis and Andrew the perfect hosts. First time in Zante. Went to Popeyes for breakfast. Nothing too much trouble for Andreas (Andrew). Looked after us every time we were there. Lovely staff great food as much coffee or tea as you wanted. Made you feel special.Would really reccomend it...my daughter Olivia 10 loved the place.

I ate at Popeye's Restaurant tonight and have been going there since I was little. I have always found the staff to be friendly, welcoming and give great service whilst being proffessional and serving great food. Nothing is ever too much trouble for them and they cater for all needs throughout breakfast, lunch and dinner. I had a lovely time thatere and always do it is a good restaurant to eat at and I highly reccomend it to anyone who goes to Tsilivi.

First found Popeyes 10 years when i was there with my daughters and they dragged me in.  Have to say it did not look like my sort of place as i love the traditional Greek style tavernas.  How glad i was that we tried this fantastically friendly place. My girls have now grown up and I have been back several times since in recent years with my new partner and have always found the staff very friendly and the food outstanding.  Fantatsic choice for all tastes (my partner is a veggie!) including excellent local Greek dishes. I could not recommend the Stamna, Stiffado or Kleftico highly enough.

Me and my family visited Popeyes for the first time in August 2009 and absolutely loved it. The food was excellent and great portions, you definitely don't go hungry here. I loved my meal I had mushroom chicken and cheesecake for dessert, brilliant. The first time we went there my dad was deciding whether to have Stamna or Klefico and the waiter said 'you're having Stamna best on the Island'. How can you argue with that. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly all the time and it is very family friendly. On our last night in Tsilivi they gave us a key ring and two Popeye mugs.

Absolutely loved it, if you visit Tsilivi you must try the food here.   

we come here in july 09 we found the food outstanding and the ice cream with the sparkeler on top the staff was friendly and made you feel at home.It is the second time we have been and i can seeus coming again and again  it was just exellent

Visited Zante for the first time,with our friends,went to Popeyes after reading favourable reviews,and we were not disappointed.Dennis and his staff were all so friendly and work hard to make your visit really enjoyable.We ate here both at lunchtime and evening and the food was always excellent.Hope to be back soon.

This restaurant has always given excellent service with a vast menu. If you fancy a variation on the menu just ask and it will be provided. It is child friendly without being over run with kids. We have used it ever since it opened 17 years ago so it must be doing something right to stay in business for so long. The staff always deliver a professional service with a smile.

What a wonderful restaurant. Food, service and "extras" ie. gifts were simply the best in town. The children put pressure on us every night to go back there and to be honest we had no problem with that demand! No matter how busy Popeye's was, standards never dropped. True professionals in action. Definitely worth a trip. All aspiring restaurant managers/ owners please observe and try to match! 10/10 without a doubt. Yamas!

The BEST place to eat in town the staff and the owner Dennis where the best made us all fill welcome every night we came in.The food was great eat there about 12 times and every meal was great.Realy good with the kids giving them lollypops, Tshirts ,keyrings and mugs  and also prices where also good to the pocket overall you have to try it to see what i mean YUM YUM YUM YUM Thank to all you guys x x

You MUST visit Popeyes!!  Food is always excellent - service is always excellent, and all of the staff there are just fantastic.  My daughter and I ate there pretty much every night, and every dish we had was perfect.  Beef Stifado was delicious, the Popeye Special pasta dish was to die for - and desserts are superb!!  Thanks so much to the lovely Dennis, Lambros and everyone else at Popeyes  for always making us feel so welcome - see you next year!! xxx

What can I say?  Perfection every time!  The French Toast with maple syrup at breakfast is to die for and my husband says the steaks are the best he's ever had.  Incredibly friendly staff who make you feel like friends.  Dennis (Popeye) is completely charming! 

Cant wait to have my pancakes with pineapple and maple syrup plus lovely coffee! been here several times and breakfasts are great hubby had a traditional bacon and eggs all food excellent. See you this weekend. The Rock family. (we still have our t-shirts from 2007) love popeyes and tsilivi....

Simply the best we ate here 6 times dennis is a great host and never forgets you i have had the honour to go to this restaurant since 1994 and it is still in my opinion the best in tsilivi. Where do i start with the food i had while i was there the rack of lamb superb fillet steak with the bernaise sauce to die for the speical greek dish for 2 fantastic the mixed grill superb make sure your hungry though if you order that and the peppered steak on 2 occasions. Thank you to all at popeyes for making our holiday that little bit more special see you again in 6 weeks time.

Popeyes is great, we are returning customers and we are always well looked after especially by dennis and akis.

popeyes restaurant was class and enjoyed by all us fussy eaters dennis and gang always made us welcome and give kids a load of treats which they loved highly recomended by us allx

was in tsilivi for 2 weeks in august 2008.many nice restaurants but none in popeyes league. massive choice on menu,every meal top class.best breakfast and lunch also.as for the service,dennis and his team are superb.tsilivi is a fantastic resort but popeyes makes it even more special!!

What can you say that hasn't been said before. Just want to add my thanks to Popeyes. Great Food but particularly because of the childrens food they offer (and not just chicken nuggets !!). Try and make Popeyes your first Restaurant visit because you will be able to judge all others by this one and more than likely end up back at Popeyes after a few days.

Just got back from Tsilivi on 28.5.09. We tried Popeyes on the second night of our stay because it was the only place where the waiters are not trying to pull you in which puts me off. From then on we went every night . We felt very welcome by all the staff . The best garlic bread , Moussaka and Gyros in town!!!.There is also plenty to chose from on the menu .Excellant service , good food.

just got home from a week staying in tsilivi and on arrival went straight to popeyes for lunch, well that was it, we were hooked !!!!

as the most fussy eater on the planet, i can honestly say that i was very impressed with every meal, they have such a large and varied menue and cater for everyones needs, nothing was too much trouble and it is cooked to profection, we ended up eating nearly every meal there as when we tried anywhere eles we just kept on saying " its not as good as popeyes" 

We have just returned from a two week break in tsilivi  and i can say that popeyes is still the best, we first discovered it six years ago and all i can say is keep up the good work (all 17 years of it) chloe was a very lucky two year old and is very grateful for all the gifts see you soon.  the wiggins family

We whent to Greece in May 2008.The food was the best in the world good service nice to talk to the waiter they keep you happy so we will see you in June and i hope Andy is still there.

We visited silivi in may 2008 . We ate at popeyes every day for 2 weeks excelent food and more than excelent service. We are visiting again in june this year ,see denis and all his staffthen.

We've just returned from Zante in the last week of the season and want to say thank you to all at Popeye's. As a family we like to try as many restaurants as possible when we travel abroad, but the service and quality that Popeye's provide kept us coming back. Of particular note were the moussaka, stamna and steaks. The extra special attention that they gave to our daughter was amazing, and they managed to come up with a different gift for her every time we visited. Thannks once again, and hello from 'Little Amy'!

This was my 3rd visit to Popeyes. It was lovely that they all remembered me.I had several breakfasts there, coffee and yummy lemon meringue pie. It is a great place to eat, your always made to feel welcome.

It might not look like the classiest of restaurants from the main road but don't let its looks decieve you, the food availabe at Popeyes is served with a smile and is top drawer.  The Sirloin Steak Sandwich is a must have for lunch!!!  Not many restaurants last the course these days and it is testament to the staff that this place has been around for the last 15 years or so, top class!!!!!

 The food in Popeyes is first class. The staff are very friendly and helpful, some really good characters. If you want good friendly service and good quality, well priced food, then Popeye's is the place to be.

 We have visited  Zante for 16 years and have tried many restaurants.

The food and service here are excellent. Try the tuna baguette! Thank you for our Popeyes mugs and keyrings. We will treasure them.

Again a great resturant ,food great in all our visits which have been many after our 5th trip to tsilivi,never had a bad meal,the portions are huge,the moussaka is to die for ,the waiters are very very happy and helpful,And Denis is the best ,all the best to you all.

Just got back home after a brill time in Tsilivi.  The holiday began and ended at Popeyes. Fantastic place - delicious food with friendly and professional service from staff.  Dennis 'Popeye' made kids feel welcome and gave them treats each time we went in - keyrings, t-shirts, mugs, ice cream. - you can see we went there for quite a few times!!!!

Overpriced, food okay, better places to eat......

Best breakfasts in Tsilivi by far (and we tried many different places for breakfast in our 2 week stay)  ....... the meals very good in evening too. The waiters are very proffesional unlike some other restaurants where the lads are more interested in posing for and chatting up the young girls.

We have been to Tsilivi 3 years running and love it here! Their roast beef is to die for, it is lovely, so much choice on the menu. Staff are very attentive and polite! Great place to eat any time of day

Anyone going to Tsilivi must go to Popeye's.  Whether you have breakfast, lunch or dinner, Dennis and all the staff will make you very welcome and they really spoil the children,  we were given caps, T-shirts, key rings, mugs, plates and ice cream after the meal.  The food is excellent with a good selection of dishes to choose from.  A big thank you to Dennis, Yiannis, Andreas and all the staff for making it a great holiday.

Just got back from tsilivi fantastic holiday stayed in plaza palace hotel would recommend to all we ate in popeyes a few times and found the food and staff fantastic very helpful and polite will be back next year

  Just arrived back in the UK from a great holiday.  Wanted to say hello to all the staff at Popeyes and thank them for providing my partner and I with such wonderful food when we visited.  The New York Steak was fabulous and also the rack of lamb and the deserts for those of us with a sweet tooth, were out of this world.  (try the chocolate and banana chip cake if you dare).  Definately the best we had during our stay in Tsilivi.  The staff are all so friendly and no one is outside trying to entice you in.  Popeyes you definately get our vote.  Good luck Dennis with the new arrival when she/he is born.

just come back from tsilivi 26th june 2008 went to Popeyes three or four times very good restaurant Dennis gave us a pen, key ring and a tee shirt for my daughter which I came back home in, lovely meals, good service and nice friendly staff keep up the good work,

 my self and my hubby went to zante on are hunnymoon and found popeyes the food is just fab we are going back in 2009 and we WILL be going back to popeyes the staff are friendley and the price's were not bad

 Superb food, excellent service, staff make you feel really welcome and are happy to stand and chat. Really kid friendly they all get a balloon and baseball cap and made a fuss of too. Great place to eat.

Superb!! been twice now and definately booking next years hol there. Food great staff even better. Helped make a great holiday truly special!!

This Resturant is again very very good ,the food is excellant ,Denis will make you very welcome and you'll want to visit again and again,going back in July and cant wait.
