Had a fantastic 2 weeks in Zante and looked forward to eating at Paolos every night. Everyone was really friendly and the food was great. 'Hi' to Teo, Tanya and Denis. See you soon I hope!

Just returned from 2 weeks in Zante and ate here every night apart from the first 2 nights. Staff very friendly and helpful especially Teo. and Dennis. Tried something different every night and really felt that Paolo's, along with the beach at Kalamaki really made our holiday.

The food was great and well priced. The waiters were brilliant and really friendly. Hi everyone, especially Dennis, who is a very special person. Promised we would put our comments up as soon as we got home. We would highly recommend PAOLO'S over any other restaurant in Kalamaki, and we tried most of them! We stayed in Zante 2 years ago, and have just returned from 2 week holiday on the 31st July 2003 also. We ate at Paulos nearly every night. The menu is very extensive. All the staff at the restaurant are extremely friendly and the food is of excellent quality. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. We are looking forward to returning there next year already. Well done Paulos!

We have been to Kalamaki for the last 3 years (only just got back this morning) and had yet another great time eating every night at Paolo's (we've never eaten anywhere else on zante). The food, atmosphere and most of all the restaurant staff are excellent and we've never been disappointed. They even arranged a birthday cake for us. So thank you to Paulo, Denis, Yiannis, Teo, Anthoni, Ilias, Andrea and Maria, hope we haven't missed any one who made sure that we had such a great time every night. If you visit kalamaki, Paolo's restaurant is a must. See you next year (unless we can get back before then!!)

We ate here 13 nights out of 14...! Mainly because of the play area for the kids, but also because the waiters were so great and the food was faultless. Never had a bad meal.

We visited Paolo's on our first night and were very impressed. The waiters were a great gang and were very attentive. We returned there on quite a few visits and were never disappointed.
The food was very good, especially the lamb dishes, which were extra value when chosen on the special menu.
We have special memories of Antonis rushing past calling out to us, and the Jannis with his tales of his days on the cruise ships.
If we go back to Kalamaki, this will be the first place we will visit!
Thanks to all who made our eating here a delight, and many thanks for the bubbly on our last night!!

we have been back home now for a month and missing greece and the people loads. we cant wait to come back we booked for next year yesterday (30th may 04) and our first stop will be paolo`s. cant wait to see you all next year. all our love laura, sue and david xxxx

we went to paolos every night for the two weeks that we stay`d in kalamaki.teo and dennis were the best waiters in there even though teo teased me all the time and u know what i mean! if your going to go there sit on table 27 because u get the best veiw!
there was lots of stuff to choose from in the menu especialy the jacket with cheese then followed by the cheese omlette with melons to finish. my mum and dad had tzataziki every night and loved it. teo thanks for the ouzo i`ll miss u all loads. david said to say hello to maria and he cant wait to see her next year!!! teo im getting loads of good memories everytime i see a clio! i`ll see u next year mhaw!!! say thanks to lea for the cd`s and hello to adonas with the smiley face! we will see u all next year love laura, sue and david xx

If you want good food thats reasonably priced and a friendly waiter service, then this is the place to visit.
If you want a meal with a difference then try the lobster.
If you are really lucky then maybe you will even get to read the odd nursery rhyme. (Sheep go baa can U)

The food here was good. Nice surroundings and a reasonable price. Had the lamb kelftiko for the second time, and whilst it didn’t live up to my previous experience I still enjoyed it all the same. We had the meatballs and stuffed sausage to start, they were gorgeous. Service was quick and efficient, they were kind enough to call us a taxi when we wanted to go into Laganas after our meal. The fountain makes a rather kitsch but still pleasant atmosphere – no hustle and bustle!! Prices very good – would visit again.

We ate here frequently during our stay, our children though only 4 & 8 are not typical kid menu types and were able to eat from the main menu with smaller portions at reduced prices. The play area was a good attraction for them and the staff were charming with them both, we felt they were safe with lots of staff eyes as well as ours looking out for them. Sophie and Charlie enjoyed the evenings as much as us and it all added to a fantastic holiday experience. The staff were friendly and made us feel welcome and the service was first class.

Paolo's is always our first stop on arrival and usually most nights after! Always good food, friendly waiters and a great laid back atmosphere. We are regular visitors to Kalamaki and although some things change,especially if its been a year or two in between, Paolos remains just as you remember. Looking forward to returning next month.

We last visited Zante 5 yrs ago, this year our 4 yr old is coming. We do have the fondest memories of POALA's and the MARELEN, Several comments are instantly recognisable. It will be our 5th visit to Zante at the same time, hopefully some familiar faces wil greet us? I know Poalo will laugh at ou photo's he may even bring down his lads to play, he did last time. I hope to see the GODFATHER at the 'Marelen', I must be the the only person he recognisies. A mesage to to ALEX make please make sure we have a double family room or your equivalent, we look forward to seeing Poalo and everyone at the Marelen including MOM & DAD, we land 21/05/03. We will bring some photos and a lot of enjoyable and great memories. We always came Whitsun. Please reply see you soon.

the service here was great aswell so you were never waiting long for your food,we think this is a must go to place when visiting kalamaki. hi to dennis and the rest of the waiters.

we went to this restaurant 6 times and it was great.our favourite waiter was dennis because he always played games with us and gave us free drinks and beautiful roses from the garden outside.the food here is very good and there is a very good rande of food to choose from , eg pizzas,rabbit and spag bol.we will be definatly be going there next year and we hope dennis remembers us.the best time was the last nite when we went with some friends and we took photos with dennis and it was great.we hope to see you soon.love kayleigh,sarah,sam,jenny and hannah. xxxx

Well, This was the best restaurant for miles, have written a poem about the whole experience+ included it in my book !,food was fantastic, Theo,Dennis,Paolo, and Yannis provided more than excellent service a real holiday welcome and looked after me every night I ate there, even found me Strawberries!Say Hi to all and see you next year ..AFTA!!!( youll remember him )a must visit for everyone who visits Kalamaki.Just dont forget to get the waiters to sing and dance for you !!

Dear Crew!! I hope that you will read this lines once. I just want to say it was very very excellent at Paolos!! I was there for a holliday with my mum. We both realy loved this place! From the first evening the waiters where very loveley and friendley to us. We could drink a bottle of wine over two nights. The service was very fast and the food was the best in Kalamaki (i think also the best on the whole Island). Greetings to you all and we will see us maybee next year! Everything about this restaurant was fantastic-including the waiters!We tried something different everynight of the holiday and was never disappointed.The best were prawns in garlic,fried octopus,fresh fish, lamb kleftiko,beef Zykynthos to name just a few.The service all round was superb,friendly and lots of smiley faces!I hope you're still wearing the ties!We will be back!xx

We only ate here once during our 2 week stay and think we must have hit it on a bad day. The chef was apparrently off sick and although the service, selection and price were all reasonable; first impressions count and the quality was nothing special. A reasonable meal in pleasant surroundings with adequate service.

My names Jay I'm 4years old & Paolo's was my favorite retaurant. My favourite waiters were Teo, Adoni, the manager & the one that gave me a baseball cap. The waiters used to push me on the swings & give me my own special drink on every visit (no other girls or boys had one) My mummy & daddy enjoyed there meals there inc. keflitiko, souvalaki,Paolo chicken, piza all cooked & served all in reasonable times (some people don't no how to chill). On my last night Teo made me my own special ice cream which we chose together out of the freezer. I can't wait to go there again next year. Paolo if you read this please say hello to all your waiters for me & my dad says congratulations on having the friendliest staff on the island & also excellant food.

Like lots of message posters, this was our third time holidaying in Kalamaki. This is also the third holiday that we have eaten at Paolo's every night. Its simply the best, It was a warm friendly welcoming atmosphere, Excellent food, Good friendly service, all at a price that wont break the bank. we ate at Paolos a lot and had a lot of different meals...the service is a bit slow, but that is typically greek...the waiters make up for the time between courses, they are really lovely, they love kids and do anything they can for you..one even went into Zante town for a CD for us!!!!! we are definately going to eat there again when we go back in September..if anyones going soon..ask for Teo and give him a big kiss from Joanne, Lynda, Anthony and Doreen and tell him the photos are on there way

We seemed to wait for ages between courses,luckily there is a small play area for the children. Very humid evening when we visited here which didn't help but the food was nice!! Had a complimentary drink at the end of our meal (Not sure what it was!).

Very poor service , it was the longest we had to wait in our 2 week holiday for a meal, one good point it had a playground for the kids so that kept them amused. The meal was OK but not worth the wait.

Going back to Kalamaki for the 3rd time on July 16th, Paolos will be one of the first places we visit. My favourite meal was the 'Hotpot'(I know this sounds english but trust me it isn't) and my partners favorite was the Keftedes (meatballs). Our favorite wine was Lac des Roche, a dry white . Our 12 year old son suprised the waiter by ordering the Rabbit which he said was a bit chewy, very nice but he wouldn't have it again. We usually got there about 8 O'clock and never had any delays with the service. Staff very friendly and more often than not gave us a free drink at the end of the meal. All in all an excellent place that I would recommend to anyone.

We visited this restaurant about five times and each time the food was great.The pizzas are big enough to share and the childrens portions are huge. It had a playground for the kids wich is great since you could be waiting a while for your meal when busy. The Lamb Kleftico was lovely. The staff were great with kids and really went out of their way to make your evening special. We only wish we had visited it more.

this is the greatest place/restaurant in zante (well so i reckon)it has great service with lovely waiters, we have been to zante 3 times and go to this restaurant each year, we write to dennis(a waiter)each year and always see him when we go to there restaurant. he remembers us every year and was kind enouth to take us back to our hotel when the weather was bad, and gives us free drinks and/or fruit.we liked to have garlic bread for starters. the pizzas r huge and the size of a big plate.all of the food is nice.we will visit paolos next year.

got back friday 21st already missing the place and especially the food. Had really great holiday kalamaki is a great place,went to lots of resturants but paolos was the best. Try the garlic bread with cheese.(mmm)

You really have to try this place, i cant compliment it enough! Traditional greek food, cooked to the highest standards! The waiters are so friendly and GORGEOUS!!!! Cant wait to go back the year after next, definatly the place i'll be eating in every night!!!!

This place is amazing! I got back on Tuesday and cried on my way home! The food is top class, u cant get better, and the waiters are lovely! We too got free drinks on the last night and they thanked us for our custom! Would recommend this place to everyone! Absolutly brilliant! Missing it a lot already!

The food in here is excellent,the best restraunt close to the hotel strip,good for kids,and good service,didnt like my main meal one night,and it was deducted off the bill,very fair.

Me and my boyfriend ate here 13 nights out of 14! We loved the food! Kebabs, steak, stuffed tomatoes! The waiters greeted us as we walked in and gave us free drinks after our meals for being such good customers! It has a lovely outdoor eating area (much welcomed with the warm greek air at night times). Please go there and experience for yourself!!!

Visited a couple of times, good value for money, excellent food (watch your ankles on the tables).
