Hi all. Went to Laganas last June and spend almost every nite in Mad Murphys. Best bar ever.

Hi to all you guys working at Mad Murphys in Zante!!!! Your bar is great and you guys made our holiday, especially you Joey! x We will definatley be coming back out, in fact i might be coming to work out there in July.

What a Great Place the best in zante!!! bar staff r fab! D.J off his head! unlike us scousers haha!! the best warmup bar there is in zante.

murphys is the best warmup bar there is. prices are a tad harsh, but when you have the music, the birds + the t**t of a dj to take the p**s out of its all worth it.

Just got back and missing it already! Had a wicked two weeks in zante and want to go back and work next year. Mad Murphy's has got a great atmosphere and I want to say a big hello to Iain and all the bar staff for their crazy dances and a big thank you for making my graduation night a good one! Hopefully see u next year.

me and my boyfriend had a fantastic time all the bar staff very friendly especially tony who we got to know well.went to mad murphy every night and it just got better.go there if you want a great night out we did and we are going back next year.well not much more to say than amazin.oh and hi mark,ian,step ,demitris,rich,helena and tony(aussie)and especilally irish tony thanks for making it a holiday never to forget

We absolutly loved it!! The music was great and it was always packed have to agree wiv the last comment the dirty dancin thing was amazing and us essex girls managed to get the dj to play our fave irish song every night!!

this bar is great! we came in here every night! loved the guy n girl barstaff who did the dance thing from 'Dirty Dancing' that must of took loads of practise guys! well done!

Just arrived back from Zante and Mad Murphys is without a doubt the best bar on the island. The craic is 90 and staff are fantastic some may be a little cheeky (Mark). Went there most nights as the music and the singing was excellent. Well done guys have a good season.

myself and a group of 10 friends will be coming to laganas in july we are wonderin how much on average a drink or cocktail is over there is it roughly the same as here in eire????

good bar if u want to get away from the teenie bopper crowd and have a relativley quiet night out. one word to describe the guinnes tho: undrinkable. and thats unforgivable for an irish pub (im a bit dubious about the full extent of the irishness). the rest of the drinks were ok tho and its one of the few places u can get proper lager on draught.

good laugh tho and the music is a different pace from the house/ garage type of stuff everywhere else plays.

fewer burberry wearing lager louts than the rest of the island as well.

Was over in Laganas at the end of September with my partner and had a superb holiday, and enjoyed many nights in Mad Murphys. Great entertainment and had a good laugh with the lads behind the bar especially ian and lee. Hope you are both well lads if you read this. Would also like to say hello to the PR girl lauren enjoyed having our little chat with you each night we walked up the strip. Any way we would highly recommend this bar for a good night for all! And im happy to say we are coming back over this year on the 2nd of September and hope to see you all again.

best pint of guiness ever - and a barman from Lancashire, what more could you want?!

Mad Murphys was fantastic, the only place that had a pub atmosphere rather than a bar. The staff are really friendly, and a great laugh. They give you free shots and even dance for you! Who cares if they're not Irish, the atmosphere is, without excluding the rest of us. Me and my boyfriend went there most nights, because apart from anything else they bother to know your name and make you feel welcome. They also won't try and con you like a lot of bars did (Pop Bar..) Iain the barman rocks!

great to get away from all of the rnb that seems to be played in every other bar/club.
mark the dj was brilliant, and the barman/women are a great laugh.
karaoke was hilarious and jackass is on the big screen all night
the manageresss needs to get off her a**e though and do some work.

overall brilliant place, thoroughly enjoyed myself in murphys every night

Just come back from Zante and we wish that we were still there!! We spent most nights in Mad Murphys and always had a fab night. the staff are fab - esp Iain - the music is brill and the cocktails were among the best that we had all holiday, and not expensive as some people said!! Cant believe some people have slated this place so much, we really would recommend it to everyone. They may not have Irish Staff, but they have the friendliest staff!! Get yourself in there and we guarantee you will have fun!!!

the worcester boys were in laganas for 2 weeks - big boy, scratch, spiro, jj, sonic, and creesey. there wasnt one day where we didnt go murphys bar. the atmosphere is brilliant. the staff were really friendly (especially denise!! coz she has the fittest a**e on the island!!).

it was the only bar that we visited to give out free shots all night!!!

what a joke heh we went there in may this yr and its a irish bar with english bar staff with the manager standin by the bar all night like a sour face cow. as my fella is irish he really thought it took the p**s english workin in a irish bar!!maybee next year they wil get it right hehe (",)

fate hath brought me to this establishment during the early period of leo's astrological reign - july. except for the post-modern dylanesque musings of the musicians, this place resembled the shameful readings of plato's "republic" in the venetian oratoriums during the separatist rioting of 1557. twas indeed rather a vague attempt at phenomenology, on the part of the bar staff. the marie antoinette-like "manager" displayed a rather extravagant propensity towards the habits and appearance of the greek medusa. for the uninitiated (dumb), this place is s**te.

we were here in aug and the two guys behind the bar were irish and totally lovely good bar to start of in and there is a huge tri coulour out side the bar good for a photo if your in to that sort of thing

WHAT A LOAD OF RUBBISH,THE BIT WHERE WE SAT WAS DIRTY,1 AND A HALF PINTS OF LAGER & A PK OF CRISPS COST US 7euros,the bar man was not even polite.MAJOR RIP OFF,ID SAY SPEND THAT CASH NEXT DOOR.

It was not too bad, when I went the footie was on and it was happy hour, cocktails were buy one get one free @ 4€ the staff did seem a bit stressed but it was ok.

Allegedly two couples from our complex visited this bar and one of the guys came away with a nice black eye for doing nothing off the doorstaff....(.nice way to treat ya income me thinks.) Am sure there are two sides to the storey but not a place i would visit am glad was told b4 going there

This was the most expensive bar that we come across on holidya and the worst! it was freezing cold cause the air conditioning was on too long and the bar staff were rude! i wouldnt go here again if they paid me!! save your euros and go somewhere else :-)

Expensive. Avoid, unless you're desperate for a pint of Guinness (I had two in two weeks) €5 each.

The same round was half the price in our hotel! Very expensive with very little in the way of atmosphere. The redeeming feature was the view of the street from the balcony.

Whatever they try and tell you, this is definitely not an Irish bar. The girls on the door are English, the owner is Greek and its run by Dutch!! Need i say more - totally fake and over-priced. Didn;t even show the GAA matches when an English bar down the road did!!

Smashing Bar, great place to party into the night, Get the barmen to do their S Club 7 dance its wicked :) Cant wait to come back in September

Having Irish roots I loved this bar, but wherever you come from you will enjoy the live music and cheap drinks all night. Perfect place just to chill out, listen to classic music and watch some sexy lads play pool!

best bar around, drinks cheaper than all the other bars on the strip, staff lovely cool session on each night well worth the visit made our holiday!!!!

I enjoyed this bar. Staff were very friendly and good entertainment on most nights. You can sit at the bar which overlooks the main road of laganas.
