Planos Bay Aparthotel

Anyone going to Tsilivi Beach Hotel you will love it We have been 5 times, Dennis, Maria and the family are great.

We are regualrs to Tsilivi but next yearstaying atthePlanos Aparthotle for the first time. A bit anxious about it as we have got so used to our usual accommodation the Tsiliv Beach hotel. Ou family has expaneded though and they canot accommodate us al in one room - hence the need for a change. A group of us have booked to go to the Planos Aparthotel in August 2002. Can anybody give us an indication of where the best places are to eat & drink, and what the place is like! Thanks

We would like to know how far the Planos Aparthotel is to Popeyes or centre of TSILIVI please can you help.

Excellent staff,best bar man Nickos(18.00-02.00) good accomadation, rooms brilliant, kept very clean by the maids.Sea close by, pool always kept clean, restaurant very good.Could have entertainment for young children. Reception staff always friendly and helpful. love blossom[liah]

I have just returned from staying at this hotel in Tsilivi and I have to say that this is the best holiday I have ever been on. The Hotel apartments were perfect...roomservice everyday, massive bar tv with sky and movies, extremely friendly staff who are only too willing to help, nice size pool with plenty of sunbeds, 5 minute walk from the beach, good supermarkets within 2 minutes walk, far enough away from the main street to be peaceful but still in very close walking distance if your out on the town for the night, brilliant apartments with great facilities, and best of all fab night entertainment. In the evenings the bar is run by Nikos who is fantastic at his job and is extremely friendly and welcoming. Also, across the road is a sister hotel the Admiral which is also excellant. At this hotel is a barman called Jason who is equally as excellant as Nikos and between them they keep everyone very entertained and really make it a great night for all. There are Quizs, karaoke etc at night within these two hotels so there is always something to do. I would higher recommend this hotel to anyone who is thinking of visiting Zante. It is a great base for looking around the Island with fantastic excersions. 10 out of 10. Keep up the good work. we are going to the planos aparthotel is the new building of the planos park aparthotel that is being built anywhere near the planos aparthotel and would it affect our holiday being peaceful.

GREAT PLACE TO VISIT,STAFF ARE VERY FRIENDLY AND MELISA IS A WONDERFULL REP!!!!VERY HELPFULL AND FRIENDLY.NIKO THE BARMAN IS FRIENDLY AND HELPFULL!TRY EATING AT THE MILLENIUM AND THE COPACABANA GOOD FOOD AND GOOD VALUE.RETURNING NEXT JUNE.

Dear all coming to the Planos Apart/Hotel, Just a few comforting words I am the Cosmos rep in the hotel it is finished and is one of the best inTsilivi , All the staff are very friendly including myself and the Sunday receptionist of course! The barman is very good-looking but knows it! We have good entertainment both here and our sister hotel the Admirals. Look forward to seeing too all. Melissa.

just got back from planos 1st july,very pleased with apartments and facilities.supermarkets close at hand,good watersports beach only 10 minute walk from apartments. We are off to Tsilivi in September and will be staying at Planos Aparthotel. It was due to open in May this year. Any one been there? Please tell me its finished!! Been told lovely place, cant wait.

Just returned from Planos (14th June). We were very happy with everything at the Apartments with the Admiral across the road providing additional entertainment if wanted. The tour operators excursions were good but shop around with local operators for better prices. Restaurants and supermarkets all within easy reach.

The Planos Apartments are in a group of hotels on the Islands and include the Admiral Hotel which is opposite. (Do not confuse with the Planos Beach Hotel or the Planos Studios which are not connected. We do not have knowledge of these other locations but did see the Planos Studios which looked very good) The Planos Apartments are newly finished and are extremely well equipped by Greek standards. There is a nice pool and it is only a short walk to the beach and to a number of supermarkets, very convenient! We were there in low season and it was not full and there were not many children, but I imagine in high season it might get very busy and more noisy. The main beach at Tsilivi on first impression was disappointing, however as you look at the sea the far right hand end seemed quieter. The water is lovely and shallow, ideal for children. If you go from the apartments and turn right, follow the road down to the beach it is much quieter and in our personal opinion the best area is just below the Alexandra Hotel. The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful, especially the manageress, Michelle. We hired a car for three days and visited Kalamaki and the Vasilikos peninsular. This area is much more picturesque and more like the Greece we know and love. Follow the coast road from Tsilivi through Zante town and Argassi to this area. Explore the little lanes off the main road, most of which have beach signs. We would recommend Mare beach which has a bar and Taverna, also Plakos which appeared ideal for families with small children. Gerakas (Turtle)beach was lovely, but has a steep climb down to it. Stamnes Taverna (out of the hotel turn right) was very good, also the Millenium Taverna (actually thanked us for sending back a rather rare steak!) offering authentic Greek hospitality. Just got back. Had a wonderfull time.Nighttime entertainment is just starting up over the road at the Admiral. For good snorkeling try the small beach ( 5 min walk )down the road. Bouka beach I think its called. Try the Kaliva Pub as well, Sky TV and great bar staff.

Going to Planos Aparthotel end of june wanted to know how far the beach is away and whether there is a supermarket as we are going self catering.

Just arrived back from Planos, Had a great time!! You must visit Popeye's on the other side of the village for a great breakfast. Apartments very clean and everything is brand new. Have a good holiday. Sally Kirk, Nottinghamshire.
