Alamis Apartments

Accommodation in Tsilivi

Clare

I cannot believe the comment previously made - the Alamis is very good value for money and i seriously don't know what people have to moan about it.

Location is fab - and the area itself is beautiful

The Alamis offers a friendly, clean, value for money holiday. If people want 5* properties for 2* price then get real! This is a very good 3* property - and it is money well spent!

Derek K

I have to say what an absolute bin of a place. Firstly it was cheap and commercial, I have been to a number of holiday locations and this by far was the worst.  I guess if you like to holiday in lower level commercial dumps then I am sure you are well suited to this awful location.

My recommendation to past or future holiday makers........dig a little deeper in your pockets, dont be so damn miserable and fork out for a REAL holiday.

Just returned today from the Alamis could not fault it at all.We had a 2 bed apartment for the 2 week holiday spacious, comfy and all that you could want and contrary, to some reports  the maids were in on a daily basis and our linen was changed 7 times throughout the stay.Excellent location near to everything, our 12,14 olds loved it.Would defo recommmend to anyone.

Just arrived back to sunny England from Zante.  The Alamis was fantastic choice for me and my partner.  The location was great, beach on your doorstep and only five minute walk into the main part of Tsilivi.  The rooms were clean and basic but had every thing you needed, overall was a great place to stay!!.  Loads of lovely places to eat nearby and good nightlife would recommend

click to enlarge To everyones relief yes Nick is working there this year!

got back from zante yesterday and im so sad to be home! we stayed at alamis for 2 weeks.
Best part about the place was probably Nick the bartender druing the day times. apart from stealing various items of clothing and putting bugs in your pants he is definately a good laugh!

anastacia... is a firebreathing dragon who tried to charge us 40 euros for a kettle which was broken when we got there! haha! obviously we didnt pay!

rooms were small but served the basic purpose of sleeping as us girls went to laganas pretty much every night.

cant wait to go back to zante and may be working in a club in laganas next year!

WE STAYED AT THE ALAMIS LAST JULY AND LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT.Laugh THE HOTEL WAS CLEAN AND WELL PRESENTED THE FOOD WAS REALLY GOOD AND WE REALLY ENJOYED THE GREEK  NIGHT AND ALL THE OTHER FUN AND GAMES. IT IS VERY CLOSE TO THE BEACH WHERE YOU CAN DO ALL THE WATERSPORTS YOU WANT! TRY THE PARASAILING IT WAS BRILLIANT.Tongue THE NIGHTLIFE IN TSILIVI IS VERY GOOD AND YOU ONLY HAVE TO WALK ABOUT 10 MINS TO TSILIVI CENTRE THOUGH YOU DON'T HAVE TO AS THERE ARE LOADS OF BARS AND RESTAURANTS ON YOUR DOORSTEP.Wink i WOULD DEFINATELY RECOMMEND STAYING AT THE HOTEL ALAMIS TO ANYONE AS IT REALLY IS A NICE PLACE TO STAY.Tongue THIS YEAR WE ARE GOING TO KALAMAKI SO I HOPE WE ENJOY IT THERE AS MUCHLaugh.

John W

We have just come back from two glorious weeks at Alamis and had an

absolutely brilliant holiday. The studio was first class with aircon, television and hairdrier, which my wife liked, but being follically challenged, was of no use to me.
All you moaners should remember, this was Greece,if you don't like it,stick to Blackpool!!!

Charlie

does any 1 no if nick is back wrkin there this yr ?

Tracey& M

THIS IS A GOOD PLACE TO STAY WITH A REAL MIX OF PEOPLE. THE ROOMS ARE BASIC BUT CLEAN AND  HAVE EVERYTHING YOU NEED THE KITCHEN HAS A FRIDGE, TWO RINGS, A TOASTER AND AN ELECTRIC KETTLE.BUT YOU ONLY GET ONE TOWEL EACH I WOULD TAKE ANOTHER. AND IT HAS A GOOD SUPERMARKET, CLOSE TO THE MAIN STREET AND TWO MINUTES FROM THE BEACH. GO DOWN THE ROAD RIGHT AFTER THE ALAMIS ABOUT 2 MIN WALK ON THE LEFT IS BOLEROS A GREAT PLACE GOOD FOOD & COCKTAILS. THEN GO TO UTOPIA BAR IN THE MAIN STREET FOR THE PERFECT HOLIDAY.

Had a great holiday in the alamis apartments. excellent location, 2 minutes from the beach and at the quieter end of the resort. Found apartments to be basic but that was all we wanted, who goes to cook anyway?! They were cleaned every day, with towels and sheets changed every other day. We had a room at the back that had air con which was really good. Didnt eat or drink at the hotel bar but it was always busy so cant be too bad.

Beth

we realli liked these apartments, staff were so friendly. great location, just 2 minutes from the bars and resturaunts and the beach!  not too pleased with the maids tho. they onli changed the bedding once and the towels once. the apartment was damp and the cooking facilities

but overall, it was an enjoyable place to stay and they made us very welcome.

Beth

does alamis have occaisional greeks or any other entertainment ? i would realli like to know. thanx

Heather H

we was,nt keen on tthese apts, we was there for two weeks, bedding only changed twice, and only one towel each, the staff hardly smiled, but the only plus was it was 5mins to the beach

Beth

going to Alamis in a couple of weeks, do they have daily entertainment? if so, do they have things like karaokes or occasional greek nites? thanx.

Amazing place to stay im 14 and had such a great time , jason ure sister was propa annoyin lol , if u ar my age aswell u will get into bars and it is onli a minutes wark from the beach and watersports, if u ar planning on doing watersports its pricey jet ski, 30 euro for 10 mins and 45 for 15 mins and banna boat 20 euro and so on not the best of beaches but good in some places, the macdonalds int he main resort is very pricey ,2.50 euro for a mcflurry which works out about £1.75, good place to eat, giorgios, zeus and manos ( a bit more higher class ) also ther is mini golf and laser areana both gr8 fun  if any one is going back say hi to tasos for me and the apartmens were great we had the penthouse  if any one wants to aks summit just leave a message'' anyway i would recomend it to anyone of all ages great fun and somthing for every1, Greek night and quiz night are great quiz night is nothing like wat it looks like it is not dirty and is suitable for all ages

...wot an amazing place! ive been back from tsilivi for about a week and a half, and i miss it so much! everything about the place is great, and the alamis apartments were really good. the pool could have been bigger, butt here was enough space around the pool. it had a phone and internet computers, which were really useful for keeping in touch with people at home! me and my friend nicole spent a lot of time on there haha! met some really great people...louise and stu from scotland (shame they left so early on in our holiday), dan, jason (yes im the girl who u didnt really talk 2!) and of course everyone who i went with...nic hay jack danny and everyone else! it was amazing, had some right laughs!! mainly missing nobby and scott who we met from other apartments...we had such fun with u2!! miss everyone...

anyway id definitely recomend these apartments, the staff are friendly, has a good bar, is within walkin distance from beach and town, and the rooms are great! will definitely be going back there again one day! xxx

Steven S

we stayed at the ALIMAS at the glasgow fair and it was first class. the pool is on the small side , if you want to get a bed that you want be down before 8.00    appart from that it was a good holiday

Jason S

Back home now and i had a great time, almost the best two weeks of me life. Alamis was a good place to stay, the only downer was the pool was a little on the small side. miss everyone from alamis,  Stu the 1 who liked my sis, Louise stu's older sister, Dan, Jack, Haley dans little sis , Niki the tall laud blonde1, and the other1 that i neva talked to, the other Dan, and his little bro, end of the world girl Geogia, and her bro Reece, kayleigh who went with dan(the 1 with two earings), and of course the best is always last M who i still miss XXX     X}{X     XXX  look i've done those kisses.

Well what can i say i had a great time, the place is situated in the best possible area, because it is great for the younger familys but it also has great nightlife for the older familys. any1 who goes there will have a great time there unless u are ova 80 or somat.

Steven S

just back from the alamis and found it first class .  the pool is on the small side for the size of the accom . one good thing is that Tasos on day/shift and yiani on the backshift bothgood fun . the owner looks like harry enfield s stavros    loads of money!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Charlie

Visiting the Alamis on 7th August. Have read on variuos sites that the kitchen/equipment is basic - how basic. Do I need to take, cork screw, canopener etc? Anyone know if you can hire the following: Microwave, Fans etc if so any ideas on the cost? Also I know some room are not air conditioned, any ideas on those that are. Thanks Irene

Denise J

Lovely apartments.  Very clean.  The owners were very friendly..  Would do anything for you.  Quiet end of Tsilivi - 2 mins from the beach and not far from entertainment if you want it.  Good restaurants right on the doorstep - Menir and Dionisios. Becky the Olympic rep was excellent - very helpful.  Would definiely recommend it to my friends.

Jason S

The M

were coming to the alamis on june the 16th followed by our family and frinds on the 19th! and our wedding will hopefully will be on the 24th! see you all then! everybodys invited!

John P

Basic but clean apartments, only real downside is the shower which is not a wall fixed shower head. Many lemon trees and a very pleasant setting. Pool about right size for this accommodation and bar serves cocktails and a variety of foods to suit most tastes. Staff are friendly and willing to help if any problems arise. Sea is just down the road and we can thoroughly recommend Freddy's beach bar on the sea front for sunbeds and a place to have a lunchtime drink or a bite to eat. For evening meals try Manos Grill or The Nefeli both on main Tsilivi Road (the Nefeli having several Vegetarian choices). For a FUN Pissedtime drop into the Utopia barClap where you will be welcomed by Yiannis, George, Destan and Vasso we went back several times. I think we speak for our group of six  aged between 40 & 58 when we say that all of us would be happy to visit again.

Excellent apartments (we overlooked pool and sea) 2 bedrooms and 2 balconies.

Showers are not fixed to wall at any height so a bit fidly.

Staff are very friendly although if you need something i.e. extra pillow you get the Greek answer 'maybe tomorrow' The pool although not the biggest is excellent, very clean and ideal for kids, small todler pool as well. Good pool bar, selling good food all day. I would say the apartments are ideally suited to families and couples who are not into all night clubbing although the bars are good and lively. Lots of Excellent restaurants.Try Menir which is 100 yds down the road to the sea, great food, good wine, local musicians and friendly staff all at very affordable prices.

Weather was 30 degrees + every day although BBC weather guide on the web said rain all week ! Last word for Rep Becky with Olympus, very helpful always on hand. Finally airport is nightmare.....so small although new terminal being built......dont get delayed!

Steven S

hi guys been to tsilivi many times but can't quite place the alamis apts. can anyone please tell me of where they are in relation to the taxi rank (cross roads) (popeyes) thank you whoever you are, regards steven

Kelly M

i went in 2001 and it was brilliant, the whole experience was great, we were really taken care of and yes, beware of nick!

Sandy S

Coming to these appartments in July. Looking a the pictures on the data base some of them appear a bit "risky". I'm not a prude by any means but will have my 12 year old daughter with us - is this typical behaviour at the quiz nites?

Charlie B

well you will be near most bars like me last year i was in the bar at the top of the road most the time or the ark i stayed at the alamis twice last year i was 17 then as well but i enjoyed it lots i met someone over there an he wants me to go stay out there this season with him but dont have the money to stay that long i might be going for a month or so but you will enjoy your self loads its great.

Jason S

i am going with my family late summer 05, i will be 17 then. just wondered if there is anything to do there before i go.

Charlie

THE POOL WATER IS NOT SALT WATER IT IS NORMAL POOL WATER AND IS A REALLY GREAT PLACE TO STAY THE STAFF AND THE FAMIL THAT RUN IT ARE REALLY GREAT.

Irenka C

I have seen pictures of the pool, is it salt water?

Unknown

the place was great nick was great but not when he pushed me in the pool with my clothes on and shoes with a mouth full of food and then de decides to put a big cricket on my boob whilst i am alseep by the pool with a really bad hangover and then started shoutin its on your breast i will get it off for you cheecky lol miss that place loads and little george was funny asking if he could come to our room and bring some uso with him great place cat wait to back again been twice this year

Stephen S

I was in room 11 which had air conditioning.....i think if you get any rooms between 10-15 you should get it....not sure about the rest of the rooms though.

The air con then costs you 25.00 per week....you need to get the remote from reception....

Eleanor

Does anyone know which rooms at the alamis have air conditioning? I've heard only some do. Is it the apartments or studios or just potluck as to what you get? Is there anyway air conditioning can be requested? Thanks a lot Please reply

Ann S

FIRST APARTMENT WAS IN SIDE BUILDING, NOT TOO CLEAN, VERY BAD SMELL FROM UNDER SINK, AND TOILET LEAKED. AS WE HAD BOOKED DOUBLE BED, WE GOT MOVED TO MAIN BUILDING THIS APARTMENT WAS MUCH BETTER MORE LIKE THE 3 STAR WE BOOKED. THE STAFF NEVER REALY SPOKE TO US , WE HAD LATE DEPARTURE AND WAITED IN RESEPTION,WHEN THEN TURNED LIGHTS OFF ON US. REQUEST FOR REPLACEMENT BULB IN SHOWER ROOM IGNORED.

Josh T

I LOVED ALAMIS AND ALL THE STAFF, ESPECIALLY YANNIS AND HIS TOY GOAT AND RAT! (ASK HIM!) I SPENT THE BEST WEEK OF MY LIFE THERE BECAUSE IT IS SO EAZY TO MAKE FRIENDS WITH THE PEOPLE THERE, I GAINED A FEW GOOD FRIENDS THERE! IT IS SOOO GOOD FOR CHILDREN AND FOR TEENS TO ADULTS OF ANY AGE, I WOULD DEFINATELY GO THERE AGAIN, THANX EVERY1 AT ALAMIS FOR THE BEST WEEK IN MY LIFE!

Stevo

going to the alamis next july . is it a place for young ones (12 year olds ) . we have been to tsilivi many times but don't know the alamis . has the airport changed much this year.

Cath R

We returned yesterday from the Alamis in Tsilivi and have had such a fantastic time that we felt we had to add our comments straightaway. Everything about the Alamis is excellent - great location, clean appartments and very friendly and helpful staff. We would recommend the appartments to anyone looking for a quiet spot with everything you need for a great day at the beach, top night out etc literally on your doorstep. Thanks to everybody there for making our holiday so special - we will be back next year. Hi Nick, Yannis and George!

Alan C

Spent 2 weeks at Alamis (July 18th to August 1st).
Very good, clean apartments in a convenient position (between the beach and Utopia bar!)
The pool was clean and very pleasant.
The maid service was good with regular changes of bed linen and towels.
The kitchen could have been better equipped but then we weren't attempting any gourmet cooking!
Overall a good place to stay.

Caroline H

Hey, just came back from a 2 week holiday to Zante on the 11th July, it was great!!! We were there when Greece won the football thing, and it was mad!!! the apartments were basic but nice, however we were disapointed that the maid didnt clean the room reguarly! but the family that run the apartments were really nice and friendly, and nick the barman, was a right laugh!! Me and my boyfriend would definately go back, as the location was great aswell, near the beach, shops, bars and resturants. the airport is a nightmare. the rep jane is lovely, always happy to help :) we also met some lovely people, mark and louise, n if you ever read this, rich passed his test on the tuesday we came back. if people want to ask any questions i would be happy to help!!!

Aaron S

Caroline, i was there for 2 weeks, and only came across 1 very small spider (about the size of a money spider) and that was it, i dont know if it was because we were lucky and they just avoided us or whether it was we just didnt notice them (it was hard not to with black on white walls)

i hope you have a great time! if Jane the rep is there, say hello from all of us (my message below to reminde her if she forgets!) let us know how you thought of it as myself and the others (i'm sure they would agree) have enjoyed it!

PS. beware of the Nick! hes the one lurking about the pool bar from morning till 5!

message for michelle, did jane give you the 'legs-bent-two-thumbs-up-with-a-big-grin' :) i am not sure if we got a pic of her doing that, if we did, then ill post it on the pictures!

Michelle

hi to every1 at the alamis apartments. a big hello to the bar members who proberly no us as squeaky squeaky lol. we were their from 18th 22nd and we all were taking the mik out of the 2 thong boys lol. jane the rep is great (chicken) we loved her thanks for a grat holiday and we should be bk soon michelle xxx emails bk welcome

Caroline H

Nice to hear you all had a good time, could you give me ome info on the rooms!!! is there any spiders? (phobia)email back, me and my boyfriend or going away on June 27th!!! Caroline

Aaron S

just got back Sunday from the Alamis apartments (2 weeks from the 2nd to 16th), Really good, friendly place! i just emailed 'sarah' about Nick the barman, and he is still there, ish!

as like last year i am told, he now works until 5pm, then Yannis takes over at 7! Yannis is a greek taxi driver by day and works in the alamis until 1 in the morning! if any one is going there, you will recognise him as he is the one doing farm yard noises (chickens and sheep mainly) other than that, you can have a good chat with him about painting the walls (if your male)

if anyone is going soon, say hello from Me (aaron) Marc and Amy to Nick and Yannis for me please. for some reason, we had a reputation there!

Alamis special Pizzas are the best! 7euro 50 but well worth it! i thought so anyway!

"Yamas" to you all! emails welcome at aaronstone_uk@yahoo.com

PS. Jane the rep is great, she will remember us too if you tell her our names and the date we were there, if she needs another reminder, tell her we were the ones that caught her chasing a dog at the airport when we first arrived on the 2nd!

John K

spent 1week at the alamis. it was ok. nice clean rooms.
the pool was great, with free sunbeds, but the snack bar was a bit pricy!! paid 7euro for a vodka with redbull.
friendly staff, great location.
i guess i go again next year.
cheers to the aussie barman!

Belinda P

have just returned after spending a week here, this is our fourth time to the resort but the first at these apartments.the maid came every day and ok the sheets were changed once but as we spent 99% of the time around the pool there was no sand in the apartment.my daughtere loved the pool, and the snacks served at the bar were eatable.the only negative thing i could say is about the lack of kettle,we had our 9 month son with us and were boiling water for his bottle in a pan (a bit of a pain).it was great to have a shower curtain, and plenty of towels and even a bath mat for the floor.would book again, location great for us but not everybody's cup of tea
the pughys

will he be working there next year?
he did the best quiz nites!!

Susie V

Perfect location - near the sea, next door to lovely Manos Grill and close enough to the main road and shops. The cooking facilities were a bit bad but, too be honest, we only went to our room to shower and sleep. Great holiday!!!

Tom M

Would return to Alamis. Very clean rooms, bar, pool. The family that runs it were up early every day to clean the bar/pool area. Well done to them and thank you. In a perfect location about 200m from the beach yet close enough to the main street. Good supermarkets nearby. Cooking facilities were average. Bathroom had a shower curtain which made a change to other places I have stayed in Greece. Try a milkshake at the bar. Mmmmm...

Ste C

has any one stayed at sakis and sams opposite the balaro bar i belive they are called glareos would like any info please steve

Sarah R

HI GOT BACK FROM THE ALAMIS ON SUNDAY..THERE IS NO COOKER IN THE APARTMENTS JUST RINGS AND NO KETTLE..PLEASE TAKE EXTRA TOWELS AS THEY ONLY CHANGED THEM TWICE IN THE WHOLE WEEK WE WERE THERE..THE BIN WAS CHANGED DAILY THOUGH. WE HAD AN APARTMENT AT THE BACK BUT WE GOT WOKEN UP EVERY MORNING BY THE BIN MEN AND TRAFFIC, AROUND 7AM I WOULD SAY..THE ALAMIS IS NICE THOUGH BUT TO BE HONEST THERE IS SO MUCH TO DO THAT YOU SHOULDNT BE THERE ALOT..WE STAYED AROUND THE POOL A COUPLE OF DAYS BUT TO BE HONEST THE BEACH WAS SO LOVELY THAT WE STAYED THERE MOST DAYS..A DEFINATE MUST IS TO GET YOUR LOUNGER AT FREDDIES BEACH BAR WHICH IS JUST ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE, JUST LOOK FOR THE GREEN AND WHITE UMBERELLAS..THEY HAVE LOVELY FOOD WHICH YOU CAN GET BROUGHT DOWN TO YOUR LOUNGER IF YOU WANT AND SHOWERS AND TOILETS, PERFECT FOR THE WHOLE DAY. THE BEST BREAKFAST WE HAD WAS JUST AT THE END OF THE ROAD CALLED SUNSET BOULEVARD, FANTASTIC. WE ATE AT THE MAJESTIC A FEW TIMES AS WE FOUND IT LOVELY..PARADISE BAR IS FUN ASWELL AS THE ARK BAR..PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THEY ARE CRAZY ON THE ROADS AND PLEASE BE CAREFUL, WOULD THINK TWICE ABOUT HIRING A MOPED THOUGH. ALSO THERE ARE SO MANY Y S GOING ROUND SELLING ROSES THAT SOMETIMES WE HAD TO BE SLIGHTY OFF WITH THEM AS THEY WOULDNT TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER. WENT ON THE ISLAND TOUR TO THE BLUE CAVES AND SMUGGLERS COVE, D IT AS IT WAS SO HOT AT THE TOP, TOO MANY PEOPLE AND VERY EXPENSIVE. I WAS VERY ILL ALSO AND WE COULDNT STOP AT SMUGGLERS COVE BECAUSE THE BOAT WAS TOO ROCKY. PERSONALLY A WASTE OF A DAY..ALL IN ALL THOUGH TSILIVI WAS WONDERFUL, PLENTY OF FANTATIC BARS AND RESTAURANTS..YOU,LL HAVE A FABULOUS TIME..ENJOY. OH BY THE WAY THE AIRPORT IS A Y JOKE!

Nicki N

Myself and my husband are going to the Alamis Apartments on Tuesday 26th August for 2 weeks. I've been reading all the comments and the apartments don't sound too bad. Can anyone let me know what the resort is like, such as:

Best places to eat
Best bars
Places to visit
Etc

Does anyone know what they are like for driving over there as we are thinking of hiring a scooter to get around.

Hayley R

Just come back from Zante on Sunday, had a excellent time, the whole island is wonderful. It was mine and my partners first hoilday together. The Alamis was lovley very clean and in a perfect location for everything. Will certainley go back next year.

Ian S

I am going to the Alamis at the end of August and it sounds great so i cant wait. Can any one tell me if you have a cooker in the apartment or just rings?

Claire H

Just got back from Tsilivi and the Alamis on Tuesday. We really enjoyed our stay. We were in one of the older apartments out the back, but we didn't mind this as we had air coniditioning and the new apartments overlooking the pool don't. The whole complex is very clean and well maintained and staff are friendly. A/C costs 35 euros per week, safety deposit boxes are 20 euros (you get 5 back when you return the key.)
The Greek night IS excellent (still haven't recovered from being bounced up and down and swung round!!)
The only noise we encountered were the bin men every morning at 7am!
We would definitely go back to the Alamis.
The rep at the apartments is Barry and he was really helpful.
If you want anymore information just ask!
PS: Go down the road to the beach (approx 2 min walk) turn right along the beach and stop at FREDDIE'S BEACH BAR (first lot of green and white beach umbrellas you come too) - fantastic place at the best end of the beach!

Sarah

Myself and my boyfriend are staying at the alamis for a week from the 27th july..Some reviews say it can get very noisy around the pool at night..Just dont want it to be too roudy thats all..Were looking to have a relaxing holiday with some liveliness but not too much. Is this the place for us?..Any help on tsilivi and our apartments would be of great help. Thankyou.....

Dan B

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Alamis 1st-15th June 03 and had an excellent stay. The apartments are very modern and spacious. The pool area is clean and well maintained and the pool bar is reasonably priced. Please feed the black and white kitten, he likes the odd slice of cheese!

Marie D

I am about to book a holiday staying at the
Alamis apartments and was wondering if
anyone has been recently and could tell me
what they think of them, about the location,
beach etc. Please respond ASAP. I want
somewhere clean and comfortable, which
isn't noisy at night time.

Fanny A

Me and my boyfriend stayed here in June and loved it. The only thing i will say is watch out for Nicks pranks, hes got loads of them. Dont go during the footy season cause hell always support the team your not, and during the world cup it did land up with him being thrown in the pool by a few of the lads. Served you right and see you in 2003 we love it there.

Stacie E

absolutley fantastic!! No Words for the place just amazing!!

Sarah C

I went to the Alamis in September 2002 i loved it there, the room was lovely and so were the owners, and especially the bar man Nick. If anyone knows Nick or knows if hell be there next year please let me know on chetaz@msn.com. I think he is lovely. The town was great loads of places to eat and drink but we spent most of the time at the bar at night. Its a must and im def going back there next year.

Holly A

Me and my friend stayed here for two weeks, and had the best holiday ever. Had great fun around the pool, nigel and nick were great, although nick is a bit of a bully!!
